Hey guys, it's Jackie and welcome back to my channel so for today's video, I'm going to show you guys a five different hairstyles that you can do when your hair is dirty. I don't know about you. Maybe this is just me, but I try to go as long as possible without washing my hair, but with that being said, you know the oils do build up in your hair and it starts to feel really greasy and just weigh you down and feel flat. So I'm going to show you some different hairstyles that you can do to combat that, but I'm so excited about this video, because I teamed up with Aveda and I got to go to Gila root, which is a Nevada salon here in San Diego, and I had The most amazing experience there ever. If you follow me on my daily vlog channel, then you already saw me talk about this and rave about it, but not only that, I also got to sit down with the stylist and talk about their shampoo or dry shampoo. Now this is probably the coolest dry shampoo. I'Ve ever tried ever what is so cool about this, or at least what I think is so cool about. This is how you use it. You shake it. I'M going to show you again in the video, but I'm just so excited. I want to share it with you now you twist open the cap and you just hold it straight like this, and you start squeezing, and your dry shampoo comes out. Oh my gosh, and not to mention this stuff smells so good. It has like the best aroma. I don't know what kind of essential oils they're using in here but like it, smells so freakin good. Oh, my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, you are going to love it. Okay, I really didn't mean for this intro to be long, so I'm going to shut up now and let's go ahead and get started so before we move on to any hairstyles. We first got a deal with this dirty hair is greasy, is dirty and it's tangled so I'm first going to start off by brushing it and I'm using the wet brush, which is amazing, and now I'm going to take my Veda sham pure dry shampoo. I'M just going to shake it up a twist open the cap and then start squeezing the product into my hair and just dust, my hair, concentrating at the roots. So it can soak up all that oil and oh, my gosh, smells so good. Now my hair doesn't stink either, so it's a win-win situation so now that it soaked up some of my oil. Let'S move on to the first hairstyle, which happens to be my favorite, so we're going to start with a side part and then the side that has more hair, I'm going to grab a small section and then twist it a little bit and then pick up another Section and twist that as well and then pick up another section and twist that as well, so basically we're just going to twist this whole front section and then once I you keep twisting till about your ear, you can go ahead and pin that with a bobby Pin or two so now, I'm going to bring my hair all to one side and this hair that's right above my ear, I'm just going to bobby pin it back just so. It looks a little better because I felt like it looked a little awkward and now I'm going to create a normal three-strand braid. So whenever I do like simple three strand braids on the sides, you can make it as fancy as you want. You can do a fishtail, you can do five shrimp. I just like keeping it simple with a three strand braid, then I'm going to pull out a few hairs to make it a little bigger and more voluminous, and there you go here - is the first hairstyle that I am actually obsessed with. So the second hairstyle is a little more fun and funky. So you want to start off by brushing your hair and creating a middle part down your hair, and you want to just tie up one section to get it out of the way and then, with the other one. You want to brush up all the hair and smooth it down and create a very, very high ponytail like this, and then you want to do the same thing it to the next side. Now, with your ponytail, you want to twist it as tight as you can and then slowly start to wrap it around. The ponytail like this to create a bun and you can hold it in place and wrap the hair more and just keep wrapping it around, and then you can either tie it with an elastic. But I'm just going to add two bobby pins, one in the front and then one in the back, and that is did for this hairstyle super easy and super funky. Hairstyle number three is super easy because it's just curls because did you know when your hair is dirty? It actually holds a curl a lot better. Oh my gosh yeah, so I'm just going to do simple curls to my hair, I'm curling the hair outwards. So it kind of flares out and you get that Victoria's Secret kind of look and yeah. That'S basically it here. You go simple curls and I don't even use hair spray. This next look reminds me of either ariana grande or khloe kardashian. Let me know what you think in the comments below so with our hair already curled, I'm going to take a section of hair from the top just like this kind of starting from the arches of my eyebrow and then going back, and then I'm just going to Tie it in a simple ponytail. Unfortunately, you can see some of my extensions sticking out, but if you don't have extensions, you don't have to worry about it and then after that, just take a little piece of your hair and wrap it around the elastic. So you can hide it and then just secure it with a bobby pin, and that is it for this look. I feel like on dirty hair days. Doing these half-up half-down hairstyles are so perfect to cover up like the greasiness, that's weighing your hair down. So here's another half-up, half-down type of style and it's a mohawk braid start by creating a part from right above the arch of your eyebrow and then the hair closest to your ear. You want to clip that down. So it's out of the way and then do the same thing to the next side and make sure you clip it down so that you don't get it mixed up, while you're braiding and now, with the whole middle section of hair. You just want to create a simple French braid, so I'm splitting the hair into three and then taking the side sections and bringing them over the middle section and then just adding hair along the way. And you can go as far down as you want to. With this braid, you can even go all the way until you reach the nape of your neck, but I just decided to go until like I don't. I don't know how to describe how hard this far if you are watching this far. I went this far very good explanation, Jackie you are so great at hair, tutorials and now is just take out the clips, and that is it for this hairstyle. So that is it for this video. And its not gross or unhygienic. Its good for your hair and your skin! Your skin tends to be really dry if your wash your hair every day, thats unhealthy!
