Today, I'm gon na be doing something I've never done before, and that is straightening my hair with no heat, but first I need some coffee. Yes, I did add i screen to my coffee. I learned this little trick when I was going to school in Italy. It'S called an affogato, so definitely give it a try before you say. That'S weird the first step I'm going to be doing. I will get my hair wet that will help get it as straight as possible so that I can start doing the process, because this takes a lot straight. Okay, so I'm gon na have juror here with me. She is my oldest out of five kids, so I'm just gon na brush it completely out and try to get it as straight as possible. Now that my hair is brushed out straight, I'm gon na take a ponytail back here and the crown of my head so that it's out of my way never done this before so bear with me and it's tingly again normally I'll brush my hair out with my Fingers but because I want a straight look: I'm using to come okay, so I'm gon na grab, ah about, like the crown of my head, a group of hair twist it I'm gon na twist it out of my way all right. That'S what it looks like yeah! So you just want to leave about like four or five inches of your hair going back, because we need all this hair we're gon na be flattening after I have all that put up. I am going to split my hair in another section split. My hair right see, let's split like that and I'm gon na take it combing it over. I just grabbed another section right: there go all the way to the back to your ponytail and then you take it and you comb it over where'd. It go you comb. It over see you guys last piece going right over this. I know what oh, it's all my little hairs. That'S why it's doing that! Okay, just put bobby pins along your hair. Oh I just want it super flat and get every piece of your hair there. You go and bring it tight. I'M just gon na keep adding bobby pins as I go around and I turn around and I'm just gon na keep brushing it out and going around how's that look Jack likes me. There we go, I'm gon na bobby, pin it in place before it starts sliding and need a lot take the top ponytail out, and hopefully it's not too tangly brush it. I mean it's. The last part I have to put up where'd this guy come from. It was random. This is supposed to be in the wet okay brush it out. So you take it right here, you hold it in place, but then, and just do like a wrap and just pin it in place, play it nice and flat going back around. I did it and then you just pin it. I don't know, I don't know how this is gon na straighten my hair. We will see here's the back all around. That'S it. That'S all you have to do. I did use quite a bit of bobby pins because I want it to be really secure and then I'm gon na sleep overnight with it in my hair and in the morning I'll, take it out and give it a good brush, and it should be straight. You, like it yeah, do you think you could wear something like this yeah? Do you want to try it yeah we're gon na straighten jahres hair with this and we'll see what both of our hair looks like in the morning right? Okay, so mike is here and he's just gon na hang out and enjoy this moment with us and see what her hair looks like. He actually doesn't really know what we're doing he's just kind of sitting in and Jireh had a shirt on her hair to help with it falling out and getting too frizzy. But the shirt did fall off a couple times, so it didn't get a little frizzy. Maybe if you try this use a silk scarf and that will help keep it together. Michael, you want to hold the bobby pins. Yeah hold your hands up all right, I'm gon na fluff it out. Okay turn around it's pretty pretty fluffy! It'S not that straight! It'S just very poofy or turn around. Let'S see it's still kind of curly like a wave, you got like the wave going yeah, I don't think you're. Really it worked on Jerry's hair, ready, hey wan na see it it stayed. I stayed pretty good. No, the back looks like come help me. Take the bobby pins out. Okay, my hair's just like put a bow and boom mommy and well that's it. I am. I think I do just like brush it down just a little bit. Oh, my goodness, what mine is getting awaited in the world like it just like came out of the caves look at our hair. I feel extremely happy right now. Oh my God, look at my ear. Do you like it? I think if you have some kind of straightening shiny, flatting gel stuff, that would help tone this down, because it's a little out of control needs to be flat. I mean it's a lot straighter than what I normally have so it's kind of a tradition of ours. Every time I straighten my hair, we surprised the younger kids with it. Normally we surprised Micah mom but he's older now, and I don't think it's gon na work on him so much anymore, but I have two little boys, that's very straight. So I mean I keep. Rushing it and I think it flattens more as it brush it. We'Re gon na have Savannah at the front door. She'S gon na ring the doorbell him we're gon na have Jeremiah go, get the door come here, Jer! Oh Jerry, can you show everybody what you made for mommy for her birthday, happy birthday, mommy, good job Tyra. It looks really good all right Jer how you doing so. What somebody's at the door is that mommy yeah? Are you sure yeah? Are you sure all right? I mean: can you give her a kiss? Do you like my hair straight yeah, you want to you want to touch my hair. What do you think? Oh, it's straight: do you like it yeah all right? So we have this little workout thing and Jeremiah likes to use it as a little vehicle. Was that fine? He just takes that wheel and all day long. He just rolls around. I don't know how he does that I've tried it and I just I fall on my face. It doesn't work as well. Shire is going to get baby number five all right here. We go. No, you just stay there. Okay, here we go hey. Who is that hi hey? Who is that he doesn't want to look at you? I know he's looking away Hey here. We go yeah, you're, so big. So my birthday was a few days ago and Mike got me some Young Living, Essential Oils. I love these oils. They'Re amazing, he also got me some roses on the website for Young Living, Essential Oils. There is a rose oil, it's about this big and it took 22 pounds of rose petals to make this oil that's a lot and it costs 200 in like $ 50. So something that small that mini rose petal is like condensed and won, so I thought it'd be cool to make my own rose oil with these rose petals, because you know you get these flowers and then a few days later they die, and it just feels you Know bad just throwing these flowers away and not using them more. So I thought it'd be cool to make my I'm just going to tear all the petals off and put the in oil. Let it sit and make my own rose oil. So I'm kind of excited to get started on that. Alright, guys, like I said, Savannah's birthday was this week and it has been a wonderful week. I don't want to sound too cliche, but she is an amazing wife. I do not deserve her she's. Definitely a gift from God, I'm just so blessed to be able to be her husband, she's the glue to this family. She holds us all together if you guys would just leave her some comments down below giving her a little bit of love on her birthday week. I'M sure she would really appreciate that and don't forget to hit that like button for

The Moore The Merrier Vlogs: Don't forget to smash that like button for Micah Dude and leave a comment for the birthday girl!

Ava Amalberti: These editing skills are amazing!!

Ruby: How the hell do you guys manage your curly hair so well?? I can’t even separate sections without breaking chunks of hair or hurting my scalp‍♀️

Nate: You make it look sooooo easy! As a dude with long hair for the first time, this was so difficult for me. It took 45 minutes! My hair was sliding everywhere, loose clumps showing up, bobby pins impossible to hold open... I must have 50 pins in my hair right now.

Rewan Saeed: Actually it's a heatless method we do in Egypt from ages .. it's called "dwama" . But it doesn't work for all hair types

Stefania Brassesco: Well, I have to tell you this is an old technique we used when we didn't have flat irons and that was passed on by our moms and aunts. Here in Argentina we call it the TOCCA. The hair looks great and doesn't get damaged but it doesn't last long. If you keep practising you will improve it and get super straight hair. Mine is curlier than yours!

Hope Hefley: I use to do this all the time! I have super curly hair, and it would take me hours to straighten! After doing this, I could run my hair through a straightener, and it would look just as good in a quarter of the time. Definitely recommend trying!

Alanna Rhodes: I love all the experimental hair videos you guys do (and the editing is phenomenal, seriously!) But I am patiently waiting for your old hair routine with the cocoa butter lotion haha!

Taylor_elks 98: Happy birthday savannah!!! I look forward to your vlogs every week because your family is just so wholesome and lighthearted! Have a wonderful weekend!

Avisikta De: I've been watching your vlogs for not much long but I gotta say this ,you guys make me so so happy ,just seeing all the kids together and stuff that you do ..even the tiniest things you do ,you make it sound so fun It's just you guys make bloom a flower of infinite happiness in me Lastly, happiest birthday Savannah/super mom Another thing I got to mention is just the fact that it literally amazes me just how well your family remains in sync all the time ..its almost insane I cannot wish you guys all the best enough just in words Much love there ♡

Taylor Xoxo 🦄: I cant wait to try this to my frizz ball tonight LOL. Oh and I've never wore a wig before but I feel like this would also be a great way to prep your hair for it! ❤

Faustina Solomon: This is the first time I've watched her videos and I thought that was her younger sister

no way: I remember doing this method when I hated my curly hair Aww I wish I hadn't But both yours and your daughter's hair looks gorgeous

Robin Gregory: Happy Birthday Savannah! You are so talented! I love your hair and Jirah's hair curly just like it is! Wouldn't change it! Have a Happy Mother's Day!

Rebecca Shelbourn: Hello again from Yorkshire in the UK! You guys are so awesome and every week my sister and I look forward to watching your vlog. As a curly girl myself, have you got any tips for keeping the natural curls for longer before washing? On wash days my hair looks really fresh and curly, but by the next day, it has already just become a fluffy mess! Thanks! Rebecca xx

Melonie Ndebele: The production value is insane for someone who's just straightening their hair. Love it Also you have 5 kids? I thought you were a college student wtf? You just keep the surprises coming lol

Dysfuctional101: Great vid! If you split the top section into two,at the end ..and wrap them opposite ways, its stays much flatter and doesn't 'gather and slip' . Xx

Sandi Wellnitz: Happy Birthday Savannah! You are such a blessing to your family and truly are the fragrance of Christ to others. Hugs from WI.

KaWi Reloaded: I do something similar because unfortunately if i put curl product in my hair it weighs it down so much (no matter how little product i use) and without the product my curls are weak and super frizzy. So i do a method like this because it basically straightens it about 90% and gives me the volume (almost like poofy but smooth) that i dnt have when it’s curly because the product weighs my hair down so bad that its flat on my scalp. Doing this method makes me look like a diff person

IVDD Doxie Mom of Dashie: Ohh too cute!! I loved how Noah wouldn't look at Savannah. Lol I hope you all are doing good and are healthy. Happy Birthday Savannah. I hope you had a wonderful day!! God bless you all!!

Lucinda Charisse: Your curly hair is beautiful. I would keep the fullness in the straighter hair as most of us with straight hair want more fullness or a wave.

chana blejer: Its great I love it hope it works in the morning I used a lot of Bobby pins!!!!

Theertha PP: great presentation ........really loved it...

boredstudent: Your editing is so cool ! ! And your kids are ADORABLE

Sara Salah: I will always do this to my hair after i take a shower it's really good , but I only leave it for like 4 hours

Asma Mohamed: Lmao I'm soo late but happy birthday SavannahCongrats for being an amazing wife and mom..Sending blessings to you and your family

Zulqurnain Saeed: I loved this video as always, even though I am a guy and has nothing to do with straightening hair and rose oil. Yet these beautiful faces and positive vibe keep me interested. P.S, A very haPpY Birthday to YoU Savannah. May God bestow upon you and your family every grain of happiness, joy, health, and success from his silo of omnipotence. Ameen. Love, Zulqurnain Saeed.

Katarina Ortmann: Yes, Savannah is amazing!!! <3 Mike too!! <3 And...awwwe, how we miss our grandkids!!! <3 But, it's a blessing to see the Vlog every week!!! A lots of love and hugs from us in Arkansas!! :-)

NIA RA: Marocains been doing this since the beginning of time ❤️

jungwonn ahhhh: The editing

leemo leemo: you are gorgeous and cute, and your curly hair is amazing love you :*

Sanjeeta Sinha: The editing is bomb

Cha Bro: I try this .Its work .Thank you so so much.Im soooo happy

laura hinojosa: You suppose to do it both ways, to the right and then to the left to get super straight hair but to be your first time it came really good!

Stephanie Jackson: ☺️☺️ next time use foam wrap lotion and then use sanex strips. i’m a black girl and we call that a wrap...and basically we wrap our hair just like you did except we take all of the hair wrap it around (you can search youtube for demos) and sit under a dryer but you can let it air dry like you did as well. but overall i think ur hair came out great

Neelima Shende: Namaste, this is Neelima from India… very very very recently I discovered you lovely 7 on Youtube… it is a pleasure to watch you all, makes happy! Keep smiling and stay blessed and united… always!!

Subhasri Paatali Emani: Love from India...i jus love the way u people get involved in interesting works....and the way u enjoy them...spcl love to MOM❤❤❤

inob 131: Hi ! In Morocco we do use this method, but you're not supposed to keep it only one way. At night you,re supposed to flip your hair the other side so that it straightens right :)

Keydis Basalo: This is a big thing in Cuban culture. At least it’s a big thing in my family my aunt is like a literal pro and can wrap her hair around in 2 minutes without the bun and without pins. She uses a bandana to hold everything in place:)
