All right guys, so here we are all prepped and ready to go. So i want to note that my hair is freshly washed conditioned all i could jazz. I also would have blow dried it the night before so i do want to stress one thing that you want to do this on stretch dry hair. Now, if you want to you, know, stretch your hair by twisting it or braiding it then more power to you. You can do whatever you want to do, but i finally get the best results with my hairstyles. When i blow dry it, the roots, are nice, and just i don't know, even smooth soft, all that good stuff, and when i do it on like um, you know braided or twisted hair. I just find that it's clumpy at the roots, which i don't like so um, whichever works for you just make sure your hair is nice and stretch and dry. So in terms of what you'll need um first of all, you're gon na need some homes. You can get away with just one comb, but i'm gon na be between this rat tail and this tri-sided comb. Everybody has gon na need um some leave-ins and maybe even a water bottle um. So i don't need a water bottle, because i have this liquid leave-in situation from cream of nature. It'S the coconut milk, detangling and conditioning leave-in conditioner. You guys have seen me use this before and i'm going to be using my african pride moisture miracle leave-in today, uh. What else do you need um? You can use some oil of joyce um just to lock in all that shirt, i'm still trying to feel through. If i need it because i did put in all that stuff, you know the night before but we'll see how it goes and then of course, you're going to need your perm rods. Well, that's what i'm going to be using um the size i'm gon na be using today. Is this yellow one? So i think this is the smallest size. You can get um, you can do it. You know bigger. You can go as big as the orange ones. If you want to or the pink ones the white one whichever you prefer, it's totally fine, but i like the curl that i get with this um, so yeah this is the ones i'm going to be using today. I think that's it. So, let's get right into this video but as always before, we begin don't forget to hit that subscribe button below join the life for krista, j, family and without further ado. Now we're really getting into this video. Let'S go all right. Let'S talk breeding pattern. First, i'm going to just divide my hair into two and i'm going to explain it from there, but basically, i think we're going to have maybe about six braids on each side from here um to make it easier. Okay. So after you would have split your hair and four feel free to put those away in their own scrunchies, once you have already gotten your four sections done now. What you want to do is work from one side at a time we're going to be doing three braids in each section. Now you can do it smaller. Maybe you could fit in four braids if you want it more defined, but i find that i get just enough definition doing three in each section plus being trying to be your own day. Honey time is money. Money is time, and so we got ta move on with our lives but feel free. If you want to to do it in smaller sections um, especially if your head might be shorter than mine or longer, it really just depends on your preferences um. So now the reason why i said you need a spray bottle is you do want to get the hair a little bit moist like nothing to say, drench it or anything? Okay, so we're gon na just begin by starting to section off our hair. I think i'm gon na go in with the other comb um. So if it's easier for you, you can pre-section each section of your hair. It'S important to know that you want each section as even as possible and just to make it easier for demonstration purposes. I'M just going to section three sections in this one section: i'm going to take your first section and you want to just slightly moist, not drench the hair. Then you want to apply in your cream leave-in and you don't really need a lot. I would say this much is good enough. You just want to work that in very nicely right, then you can go in with a little bit of oil and put that on the section as well comb through to make sure everything is evenly distributed, and you begin your braid. So you don't want to go all the way to the end once you reach about, i would say, 2 inches up so before you reach the end. You want to take some of that um leave-in cream. You want those ends to be really really hydrated. You'Re gon na take your perm rod, start wrapping from the end, make sure it's sealed and not coming out and then you're gon na just roll that up on to your perm rod and stopping once you reach the actual breed. So we're going to repeat that again, no worries for the people in the back. I got you all right, but that's just how it's going to look um. Let'S do the second one so just lightly spray it take about this much of um conditioner get a bit of oil comb it out and begin your braid all right, we're just gon na braid down until about two inches to the end of this hair. Add some more cream on the ends, then we're gon na begin twisting our hair on the perm rod a little bit over the actual braid like i was saying, and you kept it and it is done foreign we're all done all right. So this is how your braid should look something like this um and then what you can do is just tie it up. So you're, just gon na use your hair tie, and you know just tie your hair. It doesn't have to be it shouldn't, be tight and for the rest of the hair in the back you're, going to just put on a regular satin bonnet, just make sure everything is tucked in nicely all right guys. So today is the next day i'm ready to take down my braids and let you guys see the results, excuse the whole lighting situation. It'S early in the morning and yeah we just got ta, get it done um. So i'm gon na take off my bonnet and my satin hair scarf, and so this is how we're looking right now we're just gon na take off our perm rods. I don't know if you guys can get into that curl action right there, but that is gorgeous. That is how you know this is going to be bone. So this is what you want from your curls. You want it to be nice and formed, and this is why i chose this size. This is going to give me the perfect curl at the end um, when we unravel everything all right so from here, you can choose to put um some oil on your hands. I think i have enough oil on my hair to keep it from frizzing up too too much, but if you really really want to be safe, just go ahead. You know put on some coconut oil, olive oil, whatever all of your choice, so we're going to begin. Unraveling, i'm going to start on this side and what you want to do is just kind of elongate the curl not too much you don't want to disturb it too much and as with a regular braid out, you just take it out and just be careful just Let it come out where it naturally wants to separate and, as you can see, that front piece is done, there's literally no need to fluff and let's move on to the next one, two three all right. So when i am done, i just tend to take my fingers and just you know, scrub it through the roots, just to make sure that the partings are not showing just to bring everything together, make sure we all cohesive and together we want family here. Okay, so if you guys want me to do a video on how i maintain this hairstyle for a whole week with working out with everyday lifestyle, let me know in the comments down below, but as it pertains to this video, that's it i don't do any more Fluffing, i just let it be and yeah that's it. Thank you guys so so much for watching. I love you all. So much do stay tuned for next week's video watch. All my previous videos - and i will see you guys later bye
