Thank you guys for sticking in there and hanging with me and thank you for everyone that was concerned and everyone that said they missed me. I really appreciate it and it's so funny. You don't realize the impact you have on a multitude of people until you go missing um. I I didn't even know that that many of you cared, and so it was just so warming, and so I don't know it made me, feel all warm and fuzzy inside when you guys were like. I miss your videos. Where are you okay? So, needless to say, I am back um. I will do an update video, I'm not sure how soon there has been so much stuff going on exciting things. Um that have kept me busy and I've also been really sick, um off and on for the past. Like two months I had strep throat and like even now I just finished eating a couple cough drops, so I could film this video, so I've been sick. A lot been working a lot. I'Ve been working on some projects, a lot that I will hopefully be able to tell you guys about sue, Nina um, but just know your girl has been busy, but I am back and I'm so excited TV and filming again it's the holidays and have so much Exciting stuff free guys, so first things. First, let's talk about hair. I think the last hair via hair, full hair video I did was my relaxer video and that video has gotten a lot of controversy. I have no clue to get that much controversy. I'Ve been getting so many comments and questions, and thank you so much for the people who shown support on that video. I think a lot of you were confused and were like. Why did you get a relaxer and if you got a relaxed or why are you doing braid outs and things like that um, so I thought I would update you guys and answer just a couple of the questions really quick, so uh my relaxer. I got my very first relaxer at the end of June. It'S been about five months had a relaxer and the first time I got it, which you saw in the video. I will make sure to link that video, but the video that you saw um, I loved the result, but the funny part is the relaxer didn't actually take all the way and I've actually heard of people that have that experience when they first get a relaxer it. It doesn't completely straighten their hair, so for me it didn't completely shrink my hair, so um, eight weeks later I got a touch-up and loved the results. I don't have my real hair. Well, I have clip ins in right now, just because I'm playing around with some different stuff, er winter but um, I will make sure to insert pictures of my real hair. I am loving the fact that I got a relaxer. My hair has thrived. I think it was one of the best decisions I ever made in my life, despite people telling me not to do it, and it's not good for my hair despite people, you know talking about me, I'm very much um an individualized person and I'm very much confident In the decisions that I make, and so I made the decision and I'm really glad that I did for those of you who have been asking - you know why I got a relaxer but then went ahead, and would you braid up in natural styles um? If you notice from my Instagram, I also like my Instagram, I'm Sierra honey dip. If you notice from my Instagram pictures in the summer, I wore a lot of like braid outs, curly styles, um washing, go type, Styles, wet and wavy curly juicy kind of styles, and that was to minimize the amount of heat I was putting in my hair. For me, I didn't think that it was healthy for me to put a relaxer in my hair and then constantly put heat on it. That'S like two negatives, so for me it was more manageable and it was just kind of a release to be able to put it relaxed. On my hair achieve the look I wanted with braids out and um just different styles that I was not able to achieve when I was natural. They would take too long. They would come out puffy. It was just a dream. This summer I loved it. I was able to go swimming. I was able to co-wash in the heat where my curly cells. It was amazing, so that is why I did that over the summer now that it's fall and it's turning winter, you guys will notice that I do strut my hair. A little bit more, I'm just because it's getting colder and that's one of the reasons why have clippings and is because um I don't want to burn my hair out either just because it's cooler now so I'm kind of trying to switch it up and get my Hair break, but I will insert pictures of my real hair here, so you guys can see what it looks like now. You you

meikoblock: Did the natural thing for years annnnd.....it sucked. I felt like a slave to my hair. I thought going natural meant wash and go hair, but not really for 4c hair. I texlaxed and I'm so much happier with my hair process.

Jazzy Chick: girl my hair is relaxed and i went from arm pit length to tailbone in three years and ive never regretted it. So once you treat your hair properly in a routine your gonna do great. best wishes. @Ciarahoneydip

Venezuelan Papi & Queen B: People always want to talk about people with relaxers and say it's soo bad and in reality it's NOT! If you take care of your hair and moisturize and don't put to much heat on it,etc it will thrive and grow. There are so many people with healthy and long relaxed hair and your one of them! You did a great job and your hair is beautiful! Keep it up!

Trishonna: i dont blame you! i love the straight hair you get from relaxers!! so many youtubers told me to go natural but im just not with it!

Sholanda Marible: I've been natural for five years. Having to take all of the steps to keep it maintained is tiring! So, as of tomorrow, I'm getting it relaxed!! Five years have been long enough! As much as I loved my natural hair journey, I'm excited to go back to a relaxer!

Z Beauty: Ppl act like relaxing your hair is murder

Kayla: You seem much happier with your relaxed hair & that is all that truly matters

Curly Wishes Caviar Dreams: When I had a relaxer it would NEVER take !! My roots were always curly and I could not manage my hair. After a lady left the relaxer on too long and my hair broke off I decided to go natural. I always tell ppl it doesn't matter if your hair is relaxed, colored, etc. As long as it works for you and it's healthy that's all that matters. So happy to see your back !!!

Fluffy flo: Was natural for 2 years went back to relaxers. And im so glad i did!

Fit2BJustMe: I am actually thinking of getting a relaxer. I have been "natural" for about 8yrs now and I am tired of it now. I am past BSL and I am really tired of the marathon detangling sessions. So I have been debating for the last 2 days on where to go to get it done. Thanks for your video post.

Jaseen Pickett: Thanks for sharing, inspired to be comfortable with yourself no matter what it seems the masses are saying. I'm relaxed and love wash and gos for the summer and alternating between braidouts and straight styles in the winter. Thanks for confident boost! I would love to see more hair tut and hair products videos, if and when you can :)

conundrum11: Girl why are you even making this video?  You don't need to explain ANYTHING to ANYONE! It's YOUR hair. Don't let other ppl make you feel like you need to explain that. Just rock it! :::flips hair:::

AshleyNicole: Ugh why am I just finding you?? You are such an inspiration I subscribed immediately. I’m taking the plunge from natural to relaxed for some of the same reasons you did. My appointment is booked in a few weeks! I’m nervous but super excited. I think it will just work so much better for my lifestyle. I can’t wait to binge watch all your videos and catch up!

It’sCorra: I've been natural for 4 1/2 years now. I am tired of it. I my perm back. I'm not used to natural hair. I kinda hate it most of the time. I love my big Afro but I do miss my long ponytail. My hair used to be easier to manage. Now it takes even longer to do my hair. I honestly don't want to be bothered with my hair at all. I just want to get up and go.

GiGi W.: Glad your back and your hair is beautiful. Relaxing my hair was the best decision I've ever made as well. It's growing, and most importantly it's healthy. People get to work up over hair. No one has the right to tell you what you can and can't do to your hair. It's your hair. Gosh the nerve of these people lol.

Celeta Davis: Your doing right by doing the protective styles. I'm glad I relaxed my hair too best decision I made for my hair. People don't realize you still have to maintain and upkeep your hair just as if u were natural. The less manipulation on relaxed hair the better.

lovelygirll03: I understand you of why you went back to relax hair. I always get relaxed in my hair til one day I experienced my first bad breakage from a relaxer. Right and there I told myself I am going back natural. The first time going natural I loved it because I saw how beautiful my curls was. Couples more months with natural hair I started to become insecure with it. I didn't feel beautiful with it. I feel hairself be looking ridiculous sometime. Right now I am natural, now It been on my mind for the last month I really want to go back relax. I feel it fit me best. I realized being natural is not meant for eveyone. Like everyone just say, it just hair. It will grow back.

Uncle Josh: You wanted a looser texture curl pattern for your braid outs and twist outs. I find nothing wrong with that.

PureAsGold: Love your videos. Glad your back & doing better. And your hair looks great relaxed.

caramel dale: Maybe they are just jealous because you can grow and maintain relaxed hair and they can't.

Mika Rose: I have been natural for almost 2 years now and to be honest when i went natural it was a great transition from relaxed hair. My hair has grown a lot and become pretty pleased with it. However, now that i'm used to my natural hair it does not always turn out how I would like which can be very frustrating. My hair type is 4C and thick. The perm rod set would turn out beautiful in my hair but my hair seems time consuming. So now have decided to go Back on a relaxer in about a month or two. Hopefully it's not a mistake

Tasha G: You look great regardless. You did what was better for you and that's all that matters. I feel like braid outs / twist outs / etc are not just for naturals, they are for everyone. Although I am natural, it is a lot of work, and relaxing is maintenance if you want beautiful hair so either way you gotta sacrifice something to be beautiful!! lol. Good to see you are back.

Blissful101: I'm relaxing my hair for the same reason. Even though I love natural hair, I suck at braidouts and twistouts, which are styles I was really hoping to achieve. Its funny because whenever I straighten my natural hair, all of those styles come out looking nice, but when its in its natural state it looks frizzy...Anyway, I just want something different, I've been natural my entire life, and I with all the information online I have faith that I'll be able to keep my hair healthy, if not take even better care of my hair after relaxing it. I really love watching your videos, they help a lot with that.

Milinda Carlicia K: Thank you for coming back ! Your hair is beautiful.  Good luck with your projects at work as well. Love you !

Mai Luna: I've watched your relaxer video and your wash day and I think your hair looks lovely. I think healthy hair is beautiful. Whether you wear your hair in its natural state, straightened, blown out, relaxed, color treated whatever health is beautiful. And being happy with yourself is beautiful. I think a lot of women think get pressure into living with insignificant things that leave them not as happy as they could be. You can wear your hair anyway you feel makes you happy because you're the one taking care of yourself.

seygra20: Love this look. Work it girl!

Ginger Snaps: LOL You know what? It's your hair. You can do whatever you want to do to your hair whether you grow it or pay for it. Again, it's your hair. The clip-ins look great!!!

Jemimah Jatau: Always loved you and your videos and nothing is changing now! #rockitgurl!

Freda Henderson: I've never understood why people gets so worked up over hair. How about you relaxed your hair because you wanted to....lol What is a "natural" style? Anyway, I'm glad you're back :0)

B. Boston: Your hair looks beautiful regardless! You don't have to explain why you got a relaxer to anyone, do what you want!

nyboo313: Keep it girl! I wear mine with a flat ironed in the first four weeks and then a sew to stretch it until 12 weeks

Takia Janell: Glad you're feeling better!!!! Missed you girl.

lhall991: It's sad that this has to even be a discussion changing your hair for you is a beautiful thing the issues shouldn't be that....we need to make our little girls think more positive about their hair just the way it is...I went natural to motivate my daughter because her hair started falling out...it's all about what you want to do and need to do to be happy! Your a beautiful women thanks for sharing your life experiences and no one has the right to judge another

18missem: Girl, as a natural chic, i gotta say u are THE BOMB!! I subscribed here n stopped the video to go follow you on the Gram! Lol Ur a definite motivation. You got ur career, living, educational, personal fitness, relationship, ambition, style, attitude, confidence, n (YES) HAIR games on POINT!!!!!!! Im sure u worked hard to get what u have n still do to maintain it. If these folks wanna overlook ALL of that n knit-pick you over some hair creme n plaits, let natural 'em. Maybe they'll pick up some tips to get they OWN life together! Lol

Dezirae W: Im natural and i feel that i will never relax my hair again but i would never belittle another black woman for her choice of hairstyle. But of course i wish black people loved and embraced our own hair texture, but not everyone can and wants to manage that. Health is the most important :)

gorgeousbrownbeau88: So glad you're back! We've missed the videos! Hugs & love!!

La Shonda Brown: You do you well hun. Glad to see someone who's still an individual, who don't make decisions based on the majority. I remember on that vid, you told me to make the decision based on what's good for me and my lifestyle. My decision was to get a relaxer. So glad I did. I actually haven't gotten another one yet. But I can stretch longer than most bc have thin hair and I also waited a little longer after that vid. But I didn't care why you did it. You're happy. You're business. :)

Tazra Pilot: I love it. I'm about to do this to my hair.

JGirlaa5: When this video came on I just started dancing... miss you girl, and don't worry about what ppl say about your hair IT'S YOUR HAIR so do what you want to do.

Monet Walker: i am a fan of healthy hair....healthy hair is all that matters to me i love my natural hair but i will love it even better once i get my relaxer because it's just too much work for me....

Mimi: I try going natural but I just can't keep up. I takes me 30-45 minutes doing my makeup for work, I can't imagine spending that extra time doing my hair. Sigh!

AbsoluteMdot: I was bullied by a  family member  and even a hairdresser to go natural. I tried going natural. I prefer having relaxer hair. I'm getting a relaxer in January and couldn't be happier. It's my hair and I should be able to relax it if I want to. And not be bullied and ridiculed because of it. When I had relaxed hair it was healthy and grew well.

Christina Hodges: Relaxed hair can be healthy, and its your hair you can do what you want "natural" is not for everyone.

Laurie Nazaire: You go girl, naturals can be so hard on those who are relaxed. But it's possible to have healthy relaxed hair. I'm so glad I found your channel.

SuiteCoco: It's so sad to read some of the comments on here. We are already divided by race, culture, religion, sexuality and now our hair?! This to me seems like another way to keep us  black people to be once again divided within our race. light skin vs dark skin now team natural vs team relaxed?! Come on!! WE need to get it together and instead of putting each other down, how about lifting one another up! WHO CARES about whether she went natural and then got a relaxer?!  We eat foods laced with chemicals EVERYDAY, we drink water laced with chemicals EVERYDAY...Really theres no such thing as natural unless you are cultivating your own food and boiling your water to make condensation for FrESH water! Lets focus on what really matters and that is keeping each other lifted!! Bless!!! LOVE YOUR VIDEOS BTW :D

Stephanie S: Love your videos glad your back. And I love your hair !

Yolanda Spencer: your hair is beautiful so are you. Do what is right for you and your life!

Jade Sunflower: I've been natural for about 3 years now and I'm sooo tired of my natural hair now. I'm tired of doing it, dealing with it, the shrinkage, EVERYTHING lol. I have a lot of hair and it's just too much. I'm considering relaxing my hair, but idk

MsDiva1587: I've missed your videos glad to see you back. I know how you feel about peoples comments about your hair. I'm not a you tuber but I get them left and right. You do what's best for you. Your hair looks great btw :)!

L Middleton: Glad to have you back!!!!

Shameeka Danzey: We have the same hair texture we can get the straight look easy without a relaxer

cherrybonbon: It's your hair and u can do anything you want to it. The hair Nazis need to calm down. My hair is natural but I would never dream of telling others what to do with their hair or question why they chose to do something with their hair. Do you boo.

AtlantaAngel84: That happened to me. I was natural then decided to relax, it just looked like a looser curl but it didn't take lol.

princessjt100: Just got a relaxer after 5 years. It's been 3 weeks and mine must have not taken well either my hair is super thick!!!!!!!!! I let it air dry and have a fro! I'm committed to healthy relaxed hair though. We will see. The only reason I went natural was because it was thick and still needed major heat to stay straight. I guess that hasn't changed lol

Mari Ri The Boss: I loved your video. And first time watching and already fell in love

Vera Merlot: I went natural in 2007 before it was cool I wanted to be different now everyones rocking curls and my rebellious side wants to be different

Ni Henry: Gosh....Love your videos!!! :)

169simmons: Girl do what you want with your damn hair. ...dont listen to haters!

Aisha Smith: Natural hair damn sure don't for my 4C+ hair or whatever the classification maybe. Hair is hair just take care of it and do what makes you happy. Braids outs, twists out, Bantu knots and weave braids don't work for me. Air drying don't work, it makes it hard and brittle. It will make my hair fall out ten times more no matter if I put 100 plus organic or no organic products. Or Shea butters and jojoba oils bullshit. I miss my long oil olive relaxed permed straight hair. I haven't permed my hair in 2 years

diordiva: your coloring is gorgeous..

Sarah Lenoim: Hey missed you!!You're awesome.Looking beautiful as always! Just wondering, Are you in medical school? and What state do you live in? take care !

Tiarra Johnson: I like that your an individual. Have fun and do what you want with your hair.

Osha'love Lowery: Okay I've been natural for about 3 years now and I and considering getting a perm on my 4c hair but before I do anything I wanna know is there any steps I need to do before i perm it also what kind of perm i need to get so it doesn't become a disaster

Composure45: Thumbs up girl!!

Pamela1Peace: Would love to see more vids

lovehope3753: Good for ya...why the fuss over hair? There are too many things to be concerned with and when people makes such a fuss over hair it's really funny and well you know the rest. lol

Michelle Sievers: Please do more vids....i was about to report you to Missing Persons!! Glad you are back xoxo

Dominique McCormick: I had a perm and tht was the wee worst. But we all have our different flavors of tea... I'd rather be natural, but as long as you're taking care of it its fine

Redbone: I swear my hair was super long with relaxer... I’m scared to relax cuz I’m pregnant

Oh JoJo: Where can I get the clip ins? What kind are they?

Kennedi J: Dont ever leave us again lol....jk we understand life happens....glad you are back

brandilovesbeauty: back before i started wearing my hair natural I got a relaxer once and it did NOTHING for my hair lol i guess if you have thicker hair it doesn't take well?  not sure.

Margaret Okeowo: Cool video!

~Daphne Amy's World~!: I found out the Indian Jamaicans,Triniadians,Guyanese task as their roots edges or the texlaxedges, roots, the ends of their because of the humidity leave the edges, roots ends dry frizzy no. moisture and when it's done it takes really well and can't tell it's texlaxed I so want try this my roots edges ends are dry frizzy and I tried many products nothing uggg

Céu Lopes: You look beautiful and clean. At this way you can let people touch your hair. natural hair is dirty from products. Not classy....

jetaury davis: The theme song made me so happy!!!

KING: Relaxers only mess up you hair if your lazy & don't do you hair . Like I did. She does her wash , deep conditioning weekly ! So hair will be good n long

Pamela1Peace: I've gotten great results with a 3 strand twist out on relaxed hair: 1) I shampooed with "One and Only" argan shampoo. 2.) conditioned with "Pantene daily moisture renewal" 3.) parted hair ear to ear and front to nape. 4.) applied "one and only argan oil" to the ends, then created 4 three-strand twists and allowed the hair to air dry. Results were healthy, soft and well defined waves. I was very satisfied. Wear your hair in good health, however you choose to style it.

Shannon J.: People always got something to say, smh

jussara camacho: we love you..you're so cute..i love your videos...

child bye: most natural been natural for year's can't deal with there hair this is why the came up with the whole protective style AKA. i can't can deal so im going to do this so its eaiser

Elisia's Evolution: Great video hhj x

hayes Alexa2014: I was subscribe to you so you created a new Chanel you have loss lots of weight tell me the secret

Robert Raphel: My secret is  argan life products… This hair product has argan oil  which stimulates hair follicles. While you can purchase argan oil separately from the website, having it in a shampoo form works better.

Alicia Thompson: You uploaded this on my Birthday

shennel courtney: On why relaxers are not good watch Chime Edwards(Mrs.Moody)

1908prettylawyer: this junkie room though???

Glamanie: u talk too much

RAREGEM: I am natural and I just have to say that I used to be relaxed when I was a little girl and my mom cut the perm out when I was 8 .I was happy that I did it and being natural doesn't mean your a slave to your hair ,, c 'mon are yall being forreal ? Relaxers aren't just bad for your hair but the way your born is how you are born (talking about hair here)and the chemicals that relaxers actually produce aren't good for your body or health ,,when your hair burns when you put the relaxer in,your literally putting poison in your hair,,yall are grown women ,si ,I get that ,but you guys should watch sum documentaires about Malcom X,he used to perm his hair all the time

softbreezy: Putting something in your hair was the BEST decision you EVER made. . . side eye.

Skylin Chingle: There is just one thing I dislike. There are woman who are natural that gets upset with others who relax their hair. Ok. That isn't the case. What I dislike is the passive bashing. You can not expect everything to be golden and hear no complaints when woman who are natural are bashed everyday too. In the media and whatnot. I'm tired of relaxed woman, as myself, always talking ill. Calling everyone a Natural hair Nazi. Shut up. If I bad 4c hair and went, "4c hair is ugly y. it doesn't grow. blah, blah, blah..." That is bashing. Did I say this girl did it? No, but you woman in the comments are. You say they're butthurt because she relaxed. Well you're butthurt over their comments. I have my hair relaxed, but I damn well know it isn't good for my hair or body; albeit...I never heard of a case where it was so terrible. Like death or anything. Still that does not mean it isn't bad, yet...I can make whatever choice I want. So, yeah.
