Heatless Curls Tutorial | Perfect Flexi Rod Set On Relaxed Hair

Hi guys welcome back to my channel, for those of you are who is hi guys welcome back to my channel for those of you who are new here. My name is vijay ramensa and thank you so much for stopping by today's video, i'm gon na be showing you how i get this hairstyle, which is actually a flexi rod, set only using one product. So the next couple of clips you're going to see how i achieved this and then the final look as well. I really hope you enjoyed that. So this is the product i'm going to be using to do my flexi rod set. So this is the cream of nature style and shine. Foaming mousse. I have used this so many times in the past on the weeks, but i've never used this on my natural hair or my actual hair to do any sort of style. So i'm kind of doing an experiment, but i think it's going to go well because i really love this product, i'm just going to put on my glasses so that you see what i'm doing and we're going to get right into it. So my hair has been blow dried um, but it's like a week since i blow dried it. So it's gotten a little bit tangled. This is what it's looking like right now, i'm just gon na show you the flexi rods that i'll be using. So i've got these like blue ones and they're a little bit long, and i have these black ones that are a lot shorter um. I thought i have mostly the black ones, but a few of the long ones. So i'm gon na try use these for the parts where my hair is the longest, so that'll be around my crown area and then use these for like the perimeter right. So i'm not going to do like extremely even parts just because i don't want like any visible lines in it when i go to take down the flexi rod. So what i'm gon na do is just like kind of go random if that makes sense, but in the front i will part it the way. I want my hair to fall. Okay, so here is my first section of hair, i'm just going to detangle it with my wide tooth comb. First now i'm taking my mousse to twist my hair on the flexi rod. I start at the very tips of my hair and try to get them tucked away so that they're not frizzy, and then i basically just do a rolling and twisting method until i get as close to my root as possible, so twisting the flexi rod to keep It secure and keep it in the direction that seems the most firm and then to secure it at the end, i just kind of bend it backwards and then cross the two ends of the flexi rod over together to keep my hair in place. So i've got the first one done here. It'S not perfect, but what's important is that you know it's swirling around in some sort of direction. Okay, there's no um formula to this, but yeah i'm just going to go ahead and do most of my head and come back and i'm at the phone and show you guys how it's looking like so yeah stay tuned and i'll catch you in a minute. Okay, so now that i'm back at the front, i'm just showing you again in a bit more detail, so i apply the mousse and just spread it across. My hair then start wrapping my hair on the flexi rod at the very ends or the tips. So i can get them freeze, free and then twist and roll twist and roll until i get to the very top where i bend the flexi rod backwards to make it the most firm or tight and then cross the two ends over together, all right guys. So this is what my sexy wrap set is looking like. I have just finished gon na turn around. I just divided the middle one upper back into two, but i didn't switch these ones here. So, yes, i have my spray bottle here, which is plain old water and nothing else. I'M just going to spray this all over. My hair just want to make sure it is moist enough for it to set in place yeah, i'm literally just going to go about my business about my day and left it set into place right now. It is a sunday evening. It'S around six o'clock on sunday evening and i'm gon na take out this flexi rod set on tuesday morning. So it's gon na have like a full day and then like half a day so yeah it's it's yeah. It should be set facing this point. I'M trying to make okay, so it is tuesday afternoon and i'm finally taking down my sexy rock set so um before i take it down, i'm just going to use some of my inches oil and just to moisturize my moisture. I'Ve just run through my scalp um. Before i take down this hair, so yeah the only product i used was my foaming list so yeah. Let'S take it down and see if it was worth all the height so taking down the style was really really simple. You just have to make sure your fingers aren't overly dry, so you're not causing too much frizz. All i did was just straighten out the flexi rod and twist it in the opposite direction, to how i put it in just to loosen up the curl but yeah, as you can see from the clip, it doesn't require much explaining so just watch to see how It turns out, let's keep going the last one. Well, what i'm going to do is go ahead and separate each of them so yeah. What i do is, i first separate them just in half first and then i go back and separate further, i don't mind a little bit of frizz because i am going for a full look. Now, that's separated a little bit. I'M going to take my wide tooth comb and pick my roots and then i'll separate further. Now i'm gon na be more free-handed with the separating just because i really want it to be full and look effortless, okay, guys here i am with the final look. So i didn't separate it um too much just because um as the week goes on, i'm going to separate it more and make it fuller. On the first day, if i separate it too much this that's going to get old quick. So this is what it is. Looking like i'm going to turn around to give you like a 360 view of it, uh uh, uh, uh,
