Hi guys welcome back to my channel. My name is hair group ja and i do hair care videos based off of my personal experience in this video i'll, be sharing with you several different hairstyles that you can utilize in the working world to be professional, but still protecting your hair. So i've been working from home for almost a year and a half, so my protective styling has been centered on the fact that i don't have to leave the house, but with the world opening up things are getting almost back to normal, and now people are moving Out to go back to work, and this video was requested by one of my followers on instagram, and i really wanted to do this video for you so shout out and put your name right here being at home for so long. My productive styling was centered around me, knowing that i wasn't leaving the house and they were pretty ugly, like they weren't supposed to be leaving the house, but i'm going to show you some styles that you can definitely use to protect your hair and leave your house With if you have short, hair, medium, hair or long hair, these styles would be really good for you guys as well, but for my long hair people, if your hair is long to the fact that when you put it up in a ponytail, it's still on your Shoulder you cannot use a ponytail as a protective style when you're protecting your hair. The ends must be tucked away as much as possible and that's how you protect your hair because you are protecting it from the element: you're protecting it from your clothes you're, protecting it from friction and in the end, breaking off so right now, i'm in my body Of course, your body doesn't leave your house. This is something that you sleep in just to put that out there, but i know i bought it right now and i'm going to remove it right now. Why did i explain that? I just showed you so this is my hair right now and you see that i just ripped my body off. I did not wrap my hair last night. I just put it like this and put my bonnet on. If i were to wear my hair down, i could because my hair looks pretty good it's a bit way down, and this is the time when you really push yourself to put your hair up on its way down. But of course you can do protective cells from the first day out of your relaxer chair, so for these styles you're going to need a brush your wide tooth comb, as well as your tail comb or rat tail comb you're also going to need a bunch of These and these are hair ties and then scrunchies and some clips some clock clips yeah pretty much. What you need to have on hand when you're gon na do a protective style and it's good to have them in several different colors, because when you're going out to work, you can't have a bride where it's crunchy and you're wearing a brown suit. That'S just an eyesore, so these hairstyles are going to be centered around, as i said, protecting your hair um. So, let's get started. One thing i want to leave with you guys is that i recommend you moisturize and see your hair at night, so you don't have to contest with moisturizing, concealing your hair. Before you go to work, it may come off greasy and just weigh down when you moisturize and seal it at your hair. Has the time to absorb the moisture and be looking fresh in the morning. So i'm going to be starting off with a typical low bun, because that's easy so let's say you're in a hurry and you want to get out of the house real quick, then a low bun would be perfect. So the sprinter that you're going to use to your little bun is something fine, something that matches your hair as well. So your hairstyle is not done at that point. You just need to tuck the ends of your hair, so let's brush it out and then you can do like a turn and wrap it around. Okay. For the sake of this video, i'm not going to use any edge control, but if you're a person who likes your edges to be very laid, you can definitely do that. But just a reminder. When you're doing your edges, it's not recommended that you go all out. A nice swoop to the side would be recommended because once here to be curled up on your face will work, especially if it's forced, if your hair is naturally like that, and your hair falls in coils right here. That is fine um, especially if you want to not be using like holding sprays or gels in your hair. That'S fine! But if you're going to force giant curls on your forehead, don't do that! It does not look professional! You can use one of these type of brushes, for your edges gives you a nice sweep, and it also has the comb section here. So the next style is going to be a bun as well. It'S going to be going a little bit higher to the mid section of your head. You don't want to be doing a high bun. A high bun is somewhat casual. It'S the same thing, but the higher your bun, the more casual your hairstyle is so my hair is in the ponytail ready for the bun, and i just wanted to point out that my hair is touching my clothes, so my hair is on the longer side. So this hairstyle would not be a protective style. For me, this is just an easy, quick throw in a ponytail, not protecting my ends, so to do the fun. You guys may realize that i'm not using anything to make my bun um, because my hair is on the longer side and i prefer the natural button look. But if your hair is a little bit shorter or maybe mid length um our shoulder length, then you can use a bun in it or donut in it. So your hair can be volumized, but i don't really like that. Look for me, so you don't have to use it. If your hair is much shorter, then you can leave the ends out because you can't really put it in a bun. You can catch it up, but you can't put it in a bun. If i was actually going to the office, i would maybe brush up my the back of my hair, a bit with some edge control or some a little bit of gel, but not too much. And you don't want to use a gel on a daily basis, because that can break your hair off. So i would if i'm not freshly relaxed, because i'm 13 weeks relaxed next week so or 13 weeks, post relaxer next week. So i would be needing to brush up my hair a bit or do it a little bit tighter, but because i'm doing a video, i don't want to do it too. Tight just want to show you the styles, because i don't want to over manipulate my hair for a video. This is how the mid bun looks it's a little bit messy, but you guys can do it as tight as you want, i'm needing a relaxer. So it's not as sleek down but mint buns are really good, really professional for work so moving on to a side, low bun. This is more of a funner professional. Look, but again it's still looking professional still office ready. So it's low, it's playful! It'S protected! All of the elements are the hair tips that you want low protected, but still fun. Okay, so all of those bun styles, you can play around with the front of your hair. Just to make your face. Look less sad in my case, so you can either do a side. Part center part for our note part that i just showed you, but let's look at it. The hairstyles with a side part see it really changes. How your face looks part your hair. So if you were to do a low bun, a midbun, um or a side bun with your hair parted sideways, it will make your face. Look a little bit more framed um and it still makes your hair look or your look professional, and this is how your hair would look in a low, bun, high bun side bun with a center part. You can play around with your edges and if you have shorter hair than me, you may want to use a bobby pin to hold those hair that are flying away in place. Okay, so you may have realized that all of the styles that you will be doing for your hair is centered around taking it up off of your clothes and, of course, i'm showing you different levels or different ways. You can put your hair and well put your hair up, but you may realize that i don't just stick to one area of my head: do not put your hair up in the same place every single day. You will cause tension in that area and you will break the hair off in that area. So for my girls with shorter hair, let's say your hair can't be. You know pushed all the way back in one bun, your the front of your hair is shorter and you want a cell that you know is good for that style as well. You can do the face out, and this is really nice, because it also frames your face. Okay, so whether your hair is in a wool bun, mid, bun or side bun, you can pull out a few pieces in the front just to frame your face. This is professional but fun as well um. It also just makes you look less, but yeah. This is a style that you can use. Of course, the front of your hair will not be touching your shirt. Of course it's exposed, but it's not exposed to any friction. So you can actually choose to curl these in the front, but you want to be putting heat on your hair every morning if this is the style that you want to go with for a few mornings, but you could definitely put a roller in them. If you want to do them overnight and have them looking curly okay playing around with this style still in the center part, you can take out a few more pieces of hair and you can actually braid these down. So you want to still have your professional look, but then you want to protect your hair in the end, so you can braid these pieces. Okay, so i didn't braid them all the way down, because we're not going to leave them down in your face. That looks kind of juvenile, so um we're gon na put them in the bun for a more professional look. If your hair is not long enough to get to your bun, you can definitely use a bobby pin to hold these down and the bobby pin must match your hair. So if you have black hair, which most people do that has relaxed hair, then you use your black bobby pins. If you have blonde hair, you use blonde bobby pins or gold bobby pins. So this is how the front of your hair would look if you were to do the braids in any one of the buns still playing around with the front of your hair, you can use like one big section and create a look as well. If you have shorter hair than me, you can decide to pull your hair out while you do your bun styles and have it in the front like this. But for me this would not be a protective style because my hair is touching my clothes. So if your hair is as long as mine or even longer, you want to put this in a braid again. If this is the cell that you choose to do with your hair, be sure to not have your braid on the same side every day. Putting stress on one side of your edges and having your hair break off, there's a lot of things you can do to your hair and have it break off. So, depending on your workspace um your work attire requirements, you may be able to get away with my next style, because some days, i just want to do this with my hair and go on my way. This next style can either be a cornrow or a big flat twist, but i decided to do the flat twists for the sake of this video, but you can definitely do cornrows or flat twists. As i said, if your workplace allows okay, so you may be able to get away with um two large flat twists in your workplace. So this is something that is a go-to for me um, but it may not be a go-to for you, depending on the look that your employer requires, so you can definitely play around with the style. You can pull some of the hair out here and really have some fun with it take my time. This would not be like a monday look, but it's definitely a professional um office depending on what you're wearing guys. If your hair is not long enough or soft enough to do this style with these out, don't be taking the hair from the behind your ears, i saw um a youtuber. Do that and i was like, would she turn her head? You could see the hair that she pulled out from here, so it would be longer because this little um sideburn area isn't long enough um and she pulled it out here and have it fall. So, looking at her from this angle, it would look like her. Hair is long enough for this style, but, looking at her up close, it would show that her hair is behind her ears, which is just very tacky. Remember these people are going to see you up close, so you have to do your hair properly and not look weird in the office so guys. I think that's enough manipulation out for my hair. In one day, i'm feeling my scalp. I thought my scalp feels tired tired of these styles, so guys, if you like this video, please, like the video, give me a thumbs up and leave a comment down below. You can also share this video with your fellow relaxed hair friend, if they're looking for styles, that they want to do in their relaxed hair, and thank you for the person who suggested this video stay tuned for the next one bye. You

La- Neka’s - Corner: I have a question. Do you think it’s safe to use a blow dry and hair straightener to dry my hair after relaxing? That is what my hairdresser does

0tismadaline: Beautiful hairstyles, thanks for sharing dear

Makeda Nyahuma: 13 weeks post relaxer. Gf u r gr8. I gotta try that. Do u deep condition weekly in order to maintain softness and no breakage with new growth???
