Hi guys welcome back to my channel. This video is a part two to my post, relaxer washday videos. If you haven't seen that one I'll leave a link below make sure you go watch that one first, I thought in this video. I would show you how I add around my hair. I get lots of questions on air dries I'd like to show you the whole process in this video, so I only use here I may have once a month, so I add right on most wash days. I'Ve been doing this for a few years now, so I've kind of perfected the air drying technique. So at the end of my'washington video I have detangle my hair, so this is detangled in the shower. The first thing I do when it comes to air drag is t-shirt dry. My hair I've got my corn t-shirt and I just use that just to soak up the excess water Mayor's, it just speeds up the air drying process and also reduces any frizz. So any old cotton t-shirt will do. I usually just take my husband's drum so just make sure all my hair is in and I'll just leave it like this for about ten minutes. Okay, so my ten minutes is up, so I can take the t-shirt off. So next I apply the ors che: misha smooster, ms leave-in conditioning spray, so just get in there pictures on the end. I keep my microfiber towel tied around me just to protect my ends and also like help with the drying process. Then I take my trusty Denman brush. Everyone needs a Devon brush on that hair Johnny. So just take my Denman and brush through my hair again just to smooth out any kinks in my hair, starting at the end working my way up, I'm just gon na brush. My head back a bit: I'm gon na spray, a bit more off the leave-in and I'm just gon na tie a silk scarf around my edges, so that will smooth it out without me having to use heat on them. I might give it another little coat very quickly, just to make sure it's all smooth out, there's pretty much detangled. So I'll leave my hand like this, maybe for about 20 minutes, I'm really waiting for my hair to be almost completely dry. So I say about 70 % dry, so I can add my moisturizing leave-in conditioner, so I will just keep it like this. Depending on how many weeks post, I am I'll, just like gradually move the silk scarf back. I can even like this. For now. Yes, I'll see you in about 20 minutes so guys I am back. My has been a drying for about 30 minutes, maybe just over so that ends are pretty much dry. Now it's just a little bit damp up at the roots if it gets too late. I'M over it's a store dry. I usually just give it a blast with the blow dryer on a cool setting as my hands, mostly dry. I'M gon na go ahead and add my leave-in conditioner today, I'm using the ors olive oil butter, whipped leave-in conditioning cream. So I will remove of this, but I'm gon na keep it close by and see how my roots are drying a nice and smooth. I really like this leave-in conditioner, it's quite a buttery consistency. That'S actually probably a bit too much for that section, but just a little bit more and just apply it from the tips to the roots of my hair and just work that through and then I i've still got quite a bit left on my hand. I alternate between this leave-in conditioner and the can tool. Even that's one of my staples. I'Ve been using that for years. This one is a more recent one, but I do really like it I'll just give it a comb through I like to use the Denman sighs it smooths out my hair, so it's gon na be much smoother finish, but I can still wear it down. I just walk this through focusing on the ends blocking my way up, I like to put it into smaller sections just so I can make sure all of my hair gets a bit of a juice and then again just comb it through. I think this air drying process, if you are planning on wearing your hair straight, it's important to keep combing your hair through, don't overdo it. Obviously you don't want to over manipulate your hair, but to keep combing too so no tangles form while you're a drone. I will just comb this back again, just smooth it back a bit. So now I've applied my leaven, I'm going to continue the air drying and my hair is almost completely dry. So, probably just before I go to bed, I'm gon na add my moisturizer, though I'll leave it again, maybe for another half an hour 45 minutes, I'm back so I've just continued combing. My hair, through wan na, add dries and, I would say the roots feel pretty much dry yeah. I think I am all dry now. There'S some bits. Okay, this feels a little bit damp, but that's bent underneath the scarf. So this is my results. You can see how smooth the front of my hair is, where I've tied it down. So that's gon na make it really easy to style for the week. As my hair is mostly dry, I can go ahead and moisturize the seal. I find if you moisturize and seal before your hair is completely dry. It just ends up feeling like you have no product in it. I'M going to use the my own organics, moisturizing, avocado, hair milk. You would have seen this in my top 5 moisturizers video. So I'm gon na go ahead and use that so I'm gon na go ahead and feel with the floor and curl african citrus bloom super fruit, hair oil. So just a small amount just to go over that area of my hair and I'll. Just repeat that for the other four sections, so I'm just gon na give my hair one last coup so guys they have it. This is my hair or a dried if you're new to your hair journey and you're working out how to use less heat and how to rock straight hair without using a blow dryer or straighteners. This is how I achieve my straight hair. I think it's come out really well today. So tonight I will probably wrap my hair, so when I take off in the morning it will be even smoother and I will insert some pictures of how I start my hair for the week. So you can see how easy it is to start a dried hair. What the stars look like on non straightened, hair so guys, if you have any questions about how I air dry, any questions about the process and make sure you leave a comment below and I'll do my best to answer them. You like this video, make sure you give it a thumbs up. If you have any video requests, make sure you leave them in the comments and, of course, if you're not subscribed already make sure you do and I'll see you guys in the next one. Thanks for watching

Shay Lynn: This might sound weird but watching people brush their hair seems so relaxing

Donnie Richardson: I am going back to relaxed hair after 6 years and you just earned yourself a new subscriber. Keep the videos coming. This was very helpful.

Marie Nazzareno: Very informative, well spoken and straight to the point without any acting as I have seen on youtube videos. Great work. I had having excessive shedding about a year ago. I have fine hair about your length. I have learned over the past 6months how to take care of it at home by watching you tube videos like this one. I was able to stretch for 3 months, air dry, avoid heat and care for my hair by myself at home. Shedding is reduced by 80%.I now to salons every 10-12 weeks.

An Gre: Just relaxed my hair after years of being natural. Your drying technique worked for me!

Jocelyn Espino: I just recently started my healthy hair care journey and your air drying technique has been a game changer for me! Thank you so much for sharing this!!! AMAZING!!

Holly Days: What a coincidence - today was my wash day and I didn’t feel like a roller set so I’m air-drying as well. So beautiful, you and your hair are‼️

xX . Xx: I’ve been natural my whole life and I want to go relaxed soon. (complicated health related things with natural) And I want to minimize as much heat usage as possible so I’ll for sure be using this routine

Alena Dunham: I love your channel! I have been on the healthy hair/natural/relaxed hair journey since the trend started back in 2009-2010. I have had a major setback this year since I go to the gym 5 to 6 days a week. I have major breakage in the middle/back of my head near my nape. I think its because that is where I put my pony tail when i work out. Also with the breakage, my hair is very dry because the sweat dries it out so bad. Just last year, my hair was your length. Now, my hair is barely arm pit length, but only in the front and on the sides. I have cut ALOT of dead ends. I have bought a lot of the products you suggested because I have been neglecting my hair, so I haven’t done a lot of research on hair. I have considered co-washing. Any suggestions?

PURPLE PASSION PRINCESS: A lotta people may not knw this, but if use leave in conditioner&wrap ur hair then ur favorite oil, brush ur wrap once again,it will b beautiful in the morning

Michele M.: Thanks for sharing ..after air drying it almost two weeks ago it’s maintained it’s moisture and stayed soft with very little products being used I think this will help my hair be strong and long

Terena Rosa: I'm considering getting a relaxer and I've been debating it for a while, but seeing how you combed through your hair so easily SOLD me.

Georgette Rawlins: I try to avoid air drying my relaxed hair simply because it just gets curly and mad frizzy. I’ll wash my hair early on Saturday or Sunday, curler set and leave the rollers in for the day that way I wouldn’t have to go under the hood dryer. But I really enjoyed your video, it’s always cool to see other people’s routines

Lily: I will definitely be using this routine. Thanks for sharing!

I have a question. Is it okay to use natural products on relaxed hair? I notice you use some natural products like the Shea moisturizer and Cantu moisturizer.

m720: I'm so glad I found your videos! My hair is thin and damaged and I wanted to start to get my healthy hair back. I don't have the conditioning spray or creme that you used in this video because I just ordered them. If I used the cantu deep conditioning creme for now, would I still be able to achieve the same results as you without it weighing down on my hair?

JaJaJantsen: Ive been struggling with trying to figure out what to do with my hair for a super long time. I want it to be healthier so I thought my only option would be to go natural but I just like the way I look with relaxed hair way more. I think I need to just put more effort into taking care of my relaxed hair
