Is it just me or does it feel a hundred times better when you do this? This is going to be my last wash day before i relax my hair. I was tuck slacks previously until i was accidentally relaxed and what's really cool is. I can actually see my new growth like i can see the distinction between my new growth and my process here for the first time, and i can actually see like how much hair new growth needs to be relaxed. The goal of today is to really detangle my hair: do a protein treatment and also a moisture treatment to prepare my hair for my relaxer, which i'm planning to do in about two weeks two a month, because i have so much new growth. I am really concerned that this wash day is going to be a disaster um, so i'm going to use some aloe vera juice to really detangle my hair, especially because i'm going to do some protein um. I just want to make sure my hair is very detangle. Tangle free before i wash and before i do my protein treatment, so i am doing something different today i usually blend up the aloe vera to get the juice or the pulp, but i usually experience a lot of um. Just like the rest of you like the recipe from the the pulp or the the plant um, so today i just like cut it up into chunks, i'm going to go ahead and use that, hopefully, that minimizes, how much residue is left in my hair. I want to minimize how much plain i have to do with my hair today, so i don't want to spend a lot of time shampooing to get rid of the um the pulp i'm done, detangling, my hair again. I paid a lot of attention to make sure my hair was fully detangled um. I haven't played with my hair, i think in about two weeks now, so i have a lot of shed hair. So i've realized that if i skip this step or if i rush through detangling my hair now it will hurt later so. I really took my time to detangle my hair from root to tip i'm just to make sure like i can catch any shed hair um. So now i'm going to go ahead and wash my hair and i'll be back for shampoo. I use this argan oil from morocco, sulfur free shampoo and my cat is freaking out, i'm in the shower or taking a bath she's just like water water stay away. So she's, like i guess, she's concerned about my safety um, so some of you might be thinking but you're about to apply protein. Why not clarify your hair again? I have serious concerns about my hair madden up, i'm pretty sure, even though i took my time to detangle, it's still really matted up, but if i apply a clarifying shampoo to my hair, it will literally like interlock so um. I know like it's probably best to use clarifying shampoo, but i'm just thinking the long, i'm thinking of the long run, so i'm going to apply my protein treatment today. I also apply protein treatment after i relax my hair. So i'm not too concerned about like getting 100 of the protein benefits. If that makes sense, so let's go ahead and see what my hair is looking like, so it is matted up, but not too bad um, and this is why i take my time to detangle my hair is: i can finger detangle, but if i don't detangle before I wash my hair like it's going to be a hot mess. My scalp is clean, which is great, which means this is probably how i'm going to start applying my aloe vera juice to my hair, because i just hate dealing with like the the residue that it leaves and also i use the shampoo three times just to ensure That you know my hair was fairly clean protein treatment. I'M using today is the apogee two-step protein treatment, so i transferred it into the spray bottle and i'm going to go ahead and spray it onto my hair. This apogee 2 separation treatment is a high strength. Protein treatment, the last time i used this was like right after i got my relaxer all to say, you want to be very careful with how often you use this product. You also want to make sure you read the instructions thoroughly to make sure you know what you're doing before you go ahead and apply this to your hair. Now i'm going to sit under my header dryer until it hardens up and i'll be back. I was under the dryer for almost 25 minutes and my hair feels pretty hard. So, just to note here, if you do use this product, when your hair is hard, you don't want to mess it up. We don't want to play with it because, like it will break um, so i'm just going to leave the clips on and i'm going to jump into the shower and just let the water soften out the um the treatment before i remove the clips. Another thing is um: you want to be careful with how much you use because it like dries onto your skin um, so i definitely apply a little too much so i'm next time i'll try to not apply as much as i'd like today. Now i'm going to move on to my moisturizing deep conditioner, the apogee is a two-step. It does come with its own moisturized, deep conditioner, but the deep conditioner contains mineral oil, so i chose not to get it for a moisturizing deep conditioner. Today, i will be using the cara care humecta cream, um conditioner, so this would may be the second or third time i use it um the first time i used it. I think it worked pretty well, and i think i also used it after. I did a protein treatment, so my hair is matted up like i knew it would be again, i'm not going to worry about it. Now, i'm heading back to the hooded dryer about 15 to 20 minutes per the instructions. All right, i just washed out the conditioner. So let's go ahead and see what my hair is looking like. My hair feels really clean um, it's still like not enough, but hopefully it won't. Take me too long to detangle my hair. I really like looking at my new growth. I feel like for the longest time like i haven't really like appreciated or like noticed my like my own natural texture, i'm going to use this iron heat, protectant, smoothing spray, and that's because i plan on blow drying my hair, and this helps smooth your hair. A little bit just a little bit and i'm going to divide my hair into four first thing: i'm going to use is some argan oil, and this really really helps to like smooth out and detangle my hair. So i'm using about a piece size amount. I'Ve learned that if i just use my fingers like use my fingers first and then use a brush. Luckily, not all of the sections are like heavily matted like this one doesn't seem too bad. I don't jump into combing or brushing right away just because i really want the oil to like penetrate my strands and help with the um detangling. So once i've done the detangling all the sections, then i'm going to move on and use a brush or comb. My hair feels really good. It feels healthy, it feels strong, but also it feels like it has some elasticity to it. This is a really really bad one. Hopefully i can finger detangle, oh boy, all right. We'Re gon na call that good and that took about 12 minutes. Hopefully the other sections will take as long all right so now that my hair is well detangled, i'm going to go ahead and start blow drying again. Everything i'm going to do is going to be in sections, so i'm going to start with this section and i will be using this um chi keratin silk. I use like very little like that. Much maybe i'll add a little bit more about the same amount. I started with i'm just gon na brush through. Oh, my hair feels so good. It feels so soft and strong at the same time, the blow dry, i'm using is silver bird by conair pro, and this is like this is a really great blow dryer. It has multiple heat and speed settings. I'M going to set the heat to medium, i'm going to set the airflow to the highest. Oh, my goodness, my hair feels so soft. I really cannot get over it, especially since i'm several weeks post relaxer, like my hair, feels really soft. I'M going to set the blow dryer on cool, and i'm just going to finish up to help close my cuticles and that's it. I'M all done um, as you can see like this is my trouble side. It'S a little bit shorter and more puffier than this than this side, and this is my good side. It'S healthy and i've had to cut the side just to like match up the length of this side um, but this side is slowly recovering um and it's not breaking as much um so again, like i'm gon na have to keep trimming this side to match up With this side, so yes, i know they don't look. Even this is how much hair i share when i first detangle my hair. So this is what i got using the brush, and this is what i got using a comb, and this is how much hair i shed when i was in the shower um shampooing, my hair, and after that i didn't get any like hair afterwards. I didn't really get much um after i wash my hair and while i was detangling my hair um after washing it out, i didn't really get much shed here afterwards, so i hope you guys enjoyed this video and thank you guys much for watching i'll see you Guys, my next video bye guys
