Hi guys welcome back to my channel. My name is Sasha. I am the cunning mom. If this is your first time viewing my channel, I just want to say, welcome. I am doing a series on growing healthy relaxed hair, and so this is just another one of my videos on how I treat my hair before I go swimming. So if you're interested in hearing how to do this stay tuned. As you know, if you're going into the pool or if you're going into the ocean either one it's harsh on your hair in the pool as chlorine, which is damaging for the hair and the ocean, is salt, water and sand, and that's also damaging for your hair. So you always want to make sure that you treat it before you go into the water. So the first thing you're going to want to do is to ensure your hair is fully conditioned, so you're going to put in some leave-in conditioner. If you want to do a deep conditioner prior, that's fine most people, don't really think about all that before they go swimming, so the best thing to do is to do a leaving. Commissioner. Now this is the leading conditioner that I use. It can't be shame, but our leave-in conditioner, and then you also want to seal in with some oil and I use coconut away. So this is what you're gon na want to do prior going into the water. So I'm just gon na do that right now. So I'm going to section my hair and for some really get my leaving conditioner and I'm just gon na get it all. You want to pay attention to your ends, so just make sure it's moisturize very well, then you're going to want put some oil seal it in, and I know my face is beat right now, but my lipstick is waterproof. My eyebrows are waterproof. My makeup is waterproof. The powder is not so I think my powder is gon na get washed off, but my face the foundation is waterproof. So let's see how this works. In terms of my face, I mean we'll see if I stay be: okay, so now that you've moisturizing seal your hair, you need to put your hair any protective, hairstyle further water, and I like to do a halo braid just going across my head. So the first thing you're going to want to do it's been a slanted part going down the side. So there's my comb and I'm gon na do a slanted part that way. All right next thing is you're going to part you need to come in and you're linked apart, going down the side. This way. Now, if you choose to just pull your hair in a button, that's fine also, but I'm just trying to have a little bit of style as I protect my hair. So this is our part. I don't know if it's straight or not, but it really doesn't even matter wrap this up a little bit or like the difference, all right so now, you're going to comb the front you're, just gon na pull it down, pull it forward. Put it here forward like so I got a fine-tooth comb right, so they're here now we're gon na start our cornrow from the inside right here and you want to braid loosely, not tight, not too tight. If you know me, you know, I do not believe in wearing my hair tightly. I don't think you should be pulling on your strands just so you can have your edges snatched. I think the health of your hair should come first before anything else, all right. So now that I've done my halo parade now, you will go to this. The back, I'm going to braid going in the other direction. It'S about going up. Okay, ready, go! Well we're just going to do stuff together! I'M gon na wrap it around here. Okay, so there we go. That'S how I do my noodle brain, it's very loose, not pulling at all. You can tell there's no pressure on my strands, I'm all about no pressure, no pressure in the strings. Okay! So now that you hover your protective style in the next thing, you'll want to do is before you go into the water. You want to wet your hair before you go into the water, so you go to the pool or if you go to the beach either one they usually have a shower there, so you can just wet your hair before you went to the water we've put our Leaving conditioner and our oil to seal it to seal our strands, but chlorine. It'S not proof. It'S not like foolproof, so when you're here will help to minimize the amount of chlorine or salt getting into strands. So, what's your hair stand on the shower and just put your hair before you go in now when you are done swimming when you get out of that water, you want to wet you're here again, so now we're going to wash off the chlorine that has gotten Our hair, I'm going to the pool, I'm not going to beach a lot of pool, so I'm talking chlorine right now. So when I am done, I'm going to go under the shower and just wet my hair, I'm not taking anything out right now! Um gon na just whip, my hair and just wash all that off and when I get back home then I will wash my hair. Alright. I know it's a lot. It'S a lot trying to take care of your hair when you're going into pool, but it's necessary. If you want to protect your hair - and you want to do the healthy way, it's necessary to go through each step. So when I'm done, I'm gon na get home, I'm gon na just wash my hair, I'm not putting any shampoo in it. I'M going to just wash it with play water and then I'm going to condition it: no shampoos, okay, okay, so that is it. This is my swinging protective hairstyle because we got ta, be cute, only go to the balloon, so that is it. That is how you pop your hair. If you need to go to the pool or if you need to go to the beach - and this is for those who are occasional swimmers for those whose him regularly, I would suggest you wash your hair every time you go into the water number one, I would Suggest you ensure that you are wearing a cap. The cap is not foolproof, my daughter, swims and I have to wash her hair every time her hair gets wet. I put two caps on her and her hair get away and I have to wash your hair every single time. She goes to the water, which is twice a week, so this is for official swimmers. Okay, so I hope you guys enjoy this video and it is the summertime. Well, it's spring, going into the summer there's a lot more swimming going on you'll be going to pools more authentically going to the beach more octaves. So I know this will be. This will come in handy for a lot of you. So if you never came here before, I would suggest you start doing that right now, some protect you, let's grow some healthy relax here. Alright guys, thanks for watching and I'll see you next time,
