In today's video I'm sharing 4 easy and heatless coachella/music festival inspired hairstyles. I'm also coloring my hair purple using the Splat Colorizer! This 5 minute hair color was so easy to use, this would be such a great idea to do with your girlfriends the night before Coachella. Although my hair is curled these are still considered heatless hairstyles because you don't need to curl your hair to create them. If you'd like to add texture to your hair I'd highly recommend braiding your hair the night before. That's what I normally do for beachy wave texture but for the sake of this video I just curled my hair because I filmed this all in one day so I didn't have time to braid my hair prior. Hope you guys enjoy these hairstyles, let me know in the comments which one is your favorite! :)

Hey guys, it's Jackie and welcome back to my channel, so today I'm sharing some easy and heatless hairstyles that you can wear for Coachella this year and I'm dyeing my hair purple. Yes, I'm done my hair purple, so I'm using the splat colorizer. This is a five-minute hair color and it's a temporary hair color. So it's not gon na permanently permanently dye your hair or damage your hair at all, and it lasts up to five to ten shampoos, which is perfect for music festival season, especially Coachella. So this works for a light brown to light blonde hair. So if you have darker hair, it will probably won't show up on your hair, so you can leave it in for five minutes, all the way up to 20 minutes for a more vibrant result, and it comes with these gloves and then the color. So I'm just gon na go ahead and start applying this to my hair. I'M gon na go about halfway up to create sort of this ombre with this purple color. So it does come in three different colors Bosse, blue, pushy, pink and violet vixen, and that's the one I'm actually using so we're going purple and this stuff smells so good. You guys there is no ammonia, no bleach, no peroxide and it smells like berries it smell. So yummy, so I'm just going to apply this to the rest of my hair, I'll speed up the clips for you guys - and I will see you guys when my hair is complete so fast forward about 20 minutes later and a shower later, and I did my Hair and makeup, so here is what it looks like and I think it's so fun and I really really like the color and I did curl my hair, because I want my hair to have some texture for these hairstyles. But you can definitely braid your hair and you'll get some awesome texture. So that way it keeps it really heatless, but my hair was wet out of the shower, so I had to blow dry it and curl it for this video, but normally I would just braid my hair and allow it to create its own texture without any heat. So this is still heatless hairstyle tutorial, so anyways, starting with the first one. You want to just take a braided, headband or any kind of headband, and you can find these at the craft store. Make your own super simple, and this is so easy we're just going to place it on our head and just like that kind of adjust. Until it's comfortable and with the texture from the curl, whether they're heatless or not, it's just gon na look really really pretty and festive and very bohemian. So now moving on to hairstyle number two, so this one you want to brush your hair back like so you can just finger comb. It back or use your brush, and now from my arch, I'm going to create a part like so and then I'm just gon na take a clip and clip the bottom half out of the way. So it doesn't get mixed in with my braid that I'm gon na do and then I'm going to create the same part on the other side. So now we have this chunk of hair right in the middle and I'm gon na braid this back. So you can do a French braid or a Dutch braid. Whatever is easy for you, so I'm gon na split the hair into three and use my middle finger to go under the middle section and grab for the outer section. So I'm gon na pick up some hair and wrap the outer section see I'm trying to do it slow. So you guys can see it but pick up, hair and use my middle finger to go under the middle section and then grab the outer section and pull it through. I hope that makes sense. Usually, when I do what my braided hair styles, I like to try to explain how to do the braids differently each time. So maybe, if you didn't understand this particular way to braid, maybe you'll understand my previous tutorials, because I really do explain how to braid differently. In each one, so hopefully that it helps somebody out there, so maybe I can help a different person with each break with each braid, and that makes sense so anyway, do you want to braid it back and then, with the left over part, the little tail you Want to just twist this into a little bun, and that is going to be it for this hairstyle, I'm just going to secure it with some little tiny elastics or you can just bobby, pin it depending on you, like your hair texture or how secure you wanted. I just think the little hair elastics make it super secure and then I'm just going to adjust my little bun, and that is it. This is super cute super easy and festive, and I just really like this I feel like I would wear this to Coachella. If I was going for hairstyle number three, I'm going to grab the section of hair right in front of my ear and then split it into two like so we're gon na create a rope braid. So what you want to do is twist the two sections forward. Like so and then twist the sections together back so it makes sense first twist it forward then twist it back and that's all you have to do once you get the hang of it. It is so easy you can do this without a mirror. It'S really really simple: it's just kind of getting the hang of it, because if you were to just twist your hair back, normally it would unfold when you secure it with a hair ties. So by reversing the twists like this, it kind of twists against each other. So it really stays put so once you get to the end, just secure it with an elastic and then we're gon na do the same thing on the next side and I'm gon na speed this up, for you guys so now that you have your two little Rope braids: you want to cross them behind your head like this. By the way you don't have to do a rope braid, you can do regular braids if you want, but I just thought the rope braid looked really cool, so you want to grab some bobby pins and I actually painted my bobby pins. This really pretty glittery green color, and I think it just kind of stands out more so super easy DIY you can do is just paint your bobby pins, so they stick out more and we actually are going to create a triangle with the bobby pins. That'S why we want them to stick out so first, I'm going to do the two side bobby pins and kind of have them point together at the top like. So this was really hard to do without a mirror. So I actually did end up going to my bathroom to fix it up and then the bottom bobby pin you just want to use that at the bottom and have it connect together. So I went to the bathroom fixed it up, and this was the best. I could do and I would definitely take out the hair ties, so you can see my blue hair ties, which is not so cute, so I would take those out, but that is it for this hairstyle and now for this last one you're gon na need a Flower headband - and I am just going to first place this on my head. Like so and then the hair, on top of the headband, I'm going to gather that together and kind of create a half up top down ponytail and then the hair in front of the ears I'm going to pull those back as well. So it kind of hides where the headband goes into your hair. I don't know if that made sense. What I just said but pull those back and then you can pull a few hairs to frame your face and then just secure it with a hair elastic and if you have longer hair than I do, I would definitely recommend braiding this part right here, because it Would look so so cute, but because of my hair length, it's a little bit awkward, so it would kind of just look like a really fat rat tail and it just it, wouldn't look so cute on my hair, so I'm just gon na leave it like this, But that is it for this hairstyle and that concludes these for EZ and heatless Coachella hair styles. Let me know in the comments which one was your favorite and if you're going to Coachella, I'm super super jealous, don't forget to subscribe and I'll see you guys. Next time, bye have a magical day.
