Hello, my love's and welcome back to my hair Channel today, I'm bringing you an exciting video today, because I'm going to be showing you how to get these gorgeous heatless curls. I didn't use any heat whatsoever to create these curls and the tools I'm going to be using to create them is actually pretty unconventional. But if you think about it, it's pretty creative. I don't want to toot my own horn or anything, but I've never seen anyone use this tool before to curl their hair, and I am so happy that that idea kind of popped into my head, because without it I would not be able to achieve these gorgeous Voluminous curls, I'm absolutely obsessed with this hairstyle. I think it is so cool, and it literally took me about 20 minutes to put these tools into my hair, and all I had to do was chill out lay back, let my hair set and do his thing, and then it took me five minutes to take Them out - and this is the result that I got - I did pull the curls apart a little bit and I added a couple of products just to make sure that any frizz would be tamed. So if you guys want to see how I created these beautiful heatless curls, then please keep watching okay. So, ideally you want to start with damp hair, but because my hair is dry, I'm going to be using a heat, protectant spray to dampen my hair section. By section as I go, you'll also need a bunch of bobby pins, good job Nikki. Let'S try that again and the secret tool bubble tea or boba tea straws. No, I recently did a video on weird ways to curl your hair, and so many of you requested that I do a separate video on how I curl my hair using only bubble tea straws. So that was really the inspiration for this video. So what I'm doing is starting off by sectioning my hair at the bottom and working with one-inch sections of hair. I first dampened them with some of my heat protectant spray brush up the section to evenly distribute the moisture and detangle, and then I wrap the section of hair around the straw from top to bottom and secure the top and bottom with a bobby pin. So again, I'm dampening a section of hair, brushing it out wrapping it around the straw and pinning it in place with a couple of bobby pins. I'M basically repeating the same steps all over my head, and I do want to mention that you do not have to use heat protectant to dampen your hair, like I am. You can use water or water with a little bit of oil in it or you can do it directly on wet hair from a shower personally, when my hair is already dry, I find that using a heat, protectant spray like this minimizes frizz for me. So that's why I'm using it another plus for using this method, is that if you are short on time and don't want to wait an hour to for your curls to dry completely and set, you can blast your hair with a blow dryer to speed up the Process now, obviously doing this would no longer make us hair style heatless, but I just thought I'd give you guys another option for those of you who prefer to speed up the process. Another thing I wanted to mention is that these straws are very accessible, inexpensive and can be reused many many times. So it's a great alternative. If you don't own a curling wand, you can pick them up at pretty much any Asian supermarket and I know you can pick up a whole pack of them on Amazon, which I'll link for you guys in my description box. Oh and I'm also alternating the directions of the curls, as I curl them around the straws, and this is going to give the hairstyle a lot more volume and texture okay. So after you put all the bubble, tea straws in your hair, this is what it should. Look like super cute right, oh and of course I had to snapchat this moment. Don'T worry guys. How I'm doing now is removing all of the bobby pins and straws from my hair once I've done that I'm using this Moringa dry oil mist by rock your hair, which I'm clearly obsessed with. If you just look at how much I've used and I'm spraying it all over the mids and ends of my hair and then I'm breaking up the curls with my fingers, you don't want to brush these curls because they'll just turn into a big poofy mess. And that's it guys, that's how I achieve heatless curls using bubble tea or boba tea, straws, okay, my love's! So that's all I have for you today. I really hope that you enjoy this tutorial.
