Trying Tiktok Heatless Robe Curls | Does It Work On Long Hair?

What I'm gon na and welcome to my channel so today I have another hair tutorial for you guys. If you don't know, I have a another one on my channel and it's also on doing heatless curls. I use socks and not to method. I'Ve used thousands of times and I love it so much, I'm always looking for heatless ways of styling, my hair. I have this very big fear of putting heat on my hair. I feel like it's gon na turn, brittle and fall off, so I use heat almost. Never it's very like a rare occasion unless I have like a bed or something I try to not use heat, but that just means like my hair. Look not that great all the time. So I'm always looking for heatless ways of doing my hair and I'm tick-tock. There'S been this a very a popular trend of doing your hair with like a rope snarf. This is a firm scarf because they don't have a robe like the robe tie. This is a scar from a teddy bear. I had, and I actually think it's perfect - it's so similar to what people are using, so I'm gon na go ahead and try and use this and see if it works out but yeah, especially because of social distancing. I'Ve been trying a lot of things in my hair. As you can see these horrible bangs I impulsively did. I also dyed my hair pink. I actually made a tick-tock video on it, but it's faded out a lot kind of like how the pink looks but yeah. I'M just trying new things and I'm gon na go ahead and do this, I'm gon na go to bed. But I look rough. I'M gon na go to bed, but I'm gon na do it and then, when I make up, I'm gon na take it out and we're gon na see how it turns out. So maybe you guys can try it or we can see that it doesn't work at all. So the thing we're going to be using are the scars, as you ready saw. I have a hairbrush here and to it little ponytails. So I'm gon na go ahead and start doing the thing on my hair. So I'm gon na go ahead and split my hair in half and then I'm going to brush it out. It should be brushed out, but my hair gets tangled really easily. I don't know why, but I'm gon na go ahead and brush it out, and then I'm gon na do the same thing on this side and then I'm gon na take my little bear scarf and I'm gon na find the halfway point. What this is very easy because it's two different colors, so the halfway point is obviously it where they meet, and I also have my hair parted where I like it. So I'm gon na go ahead and put that I don't know if I should sound right, where my part is, if I'm just gon na put it in the center and then I'm gon na do this side first. So I'm gon na clip this side here so that this stays in place, and I think I'm also going to tie this piece so that it's not in my way when I'm doing the other side. Okay. So what I've seen kind of like French braiding, I'm not the best French braid er, so if you're not that good at it either I mean this might help you see if you might be able to do it. So I'm gon na go ahead and take remember. I'M saying that if it's thinner the better I'm sure if you want bigger curls, you take bigger sections, I'm gon na go ahead and take a little section like this and I'm gon na go ahead and separate it down the middle. Then I'm gon na bring this piece back into the picture. I also want to remind you guys that I wash my hair today and it's been drying for a few hours, so it is a little damp. I'M not doing this on dry hair. So what I saw it you're supposed to do is that you're supposed to bring this piece over and then around, and then it comes back right to where it was I'm just gon na. Do it and then back around and then I'm gon na put this one here, I'm going to take some hair on this side. My hair gets tangled so easily, so I'm gon na go over and around looks good. This is already starting to look here. Can I take that and add it somewhere else yeah and now we're moving on to this one. So this one's gon na go over. So I'm going to move that over and have both of my pieces in one hand and then I'm going to go ahead and grab this section proud this section and then how am I gon na? Do this join it here and then, since I joined it, I'm gon na go ahead and bring it around the cloth piece all right, so I think I hope this is going well. I think this is how they did it. If not, then I don't know maybe we'll get a different type of girl, let's hope cuz. They want to film a video tomorrow, and I don't want my hair to look crazy, so I'm gon na go over and around. Maybe I could be doing this tighter. I don't know, then: I'm gon na put this over I'm gon na join it with this piece of hair, so that I can grab some here. I'M gon na bring it over I'm gon na clamp it there over and under go over. I'M gon na. Add the section it's also hard cuz, my mirror is super far away, so I'm just trying to like film this and then I'll sound like do it correctly. So it's gon na go over and around you guys can see that you might not be able to see that round and we're back at this point and then whoa my hair is cut in a weave. So it's not really layers, but it still acts as if it were like layers because some parts are shorter. So now I'm getting to the end like that. So that's how this side looks. I hope it looks. Okay, you, okay! So, as you can see, I have both of the sides done. You can see my little bangs peeking through I'm trying to decide if I should go around and then ah yeah. I think I'm gon na do that and tight here. I don't know if that might be more confident but Norma. Let you guys know this kind of feels like it's gon na be a comfortable one. This is not really reaching. I think it's gon na barely make it alright guys. So I'm gon na go ahead and go to bed and I'll update you guys tomorrow in the morning. Let'S hope this turns out amazing Ryan little good morning guys. It is now the next day, if you couldn't tell by my very swollen eyes and slightly deeper voice and sorry, if you hear a background noise. This is why I rarely phone ability. It was like that's like where I'm actually speaking and I do voiceovers because where I live, there's always something going on just little warning. So I'm going to admit it is a lot more comfortable to sleep with the socks, curling method. I'Ve showed you before. I don't know if that's because I've just done it so many times, so I figured out a way where I can get it to sleep better, I'm a pretty heavy sleeper. But when I had this wrapped around and tied up in the front that was like the worst, so it would like. I also think it's because I made this too forward, like I'm sure if I made the little braid twist situation a little further back. It wouldn't have bothered me more, but this is right up against my ears. So when I would flip this over and it would come, it would lay it right over my ear and it's very uncomfortable. I sleep on my sides. I sleep on my back as a tiny stomach and having it up there. I could barely sleep in any position. The most comfortable one was like on my stomach and like gleaming on my chin kind of like when I got my cartilage pierced, and I could only sleep like automation because it was so painful. So what I did is that I took it down and I tied it in the back and that also wasn't that comfortable. So I ended up just untying it and I was able to sleep fine after doing that, but I am gon na try this a few. More times, if it turns out well to kind of see if I can get a better curl, I haven't seen how they came out and to see if I can figure out a better way of doing it to sleep better. Like I said, I'm a pretty heavy sleeper, it's like I'm a very picky person when it comes to sleeping but yeah. I'M gon na go ahead and take this out, so we can see how they look alright guys. So this is the final curl. I I think it's okay, like I'm, not surprised at curled like you're, like oh, my gosh, it curled like I was wrapping my hair around something like a curling method, so I knew it was gon na have a curl like some sort of curl. It'S like it's Hugh, I don't, I might have done it wrong. Like I said, this is my first time at trying it just like a little trial and error because, like you can see here like some people were to get like beautiful curls and I just have like dents like Dewey, and then the curl is like down here. That might be my fault, like I just try to follow the technique like they showed it. This is definitely more beachy. If I had a pic between this one or the saw curling method, I would pick this up curling method. I thought it was a lot easier. The way you just have to wrap it, this isn't like promotion or anything. Since I have a video on it like I said, I wanted to find new ways of curling my hair and I love finding new and I didn't create the stock with it either. I'M just saying like I don't have like a personal preference. I just wanted to find a different way of curling, my hair, and this I I think I tried again, but it's not my favorite like if it turns out like this again. I think I would lean towards the sock method rather than these curls, because there are some very cute ones like you can see. This little curl is Q. What bothers me is that none of this is curled. I'M sorry there's a motorcycle going by I'm just gon na wait a second. This is why I don't like. I don't like filming like this. I wish I could, because I love speaking, but I just there's so much sound and so he's little air so yeah. I think the curl is a very cute. It'S definitely a lot more beachy. You can see here I have some. Where is it some more, and these are like very cute, I'm just I'm just confused by like the tops of my hair, so yeah um. I hope this kind of helps you out if you're trying to see if this actually works or how it works, it does work, it curls, your hair. I don't know if it's because my hair's long I've seen people with long hair do it. I just feel like - maybe I did it not in the best way, because I didn't get the best curl. I do prefer the soft curling method I'll have a little like info card on that here above. If you want to check that out and judge for yourself, maybe you like these clothes better. These are cute they're, beachy and everything, but I just feel like I wish it was throughout my whole hair and I like how this is a little bit of like dense and stuff, but I mean yeah. I love how the pink looks curled as part of super cute. It'S just like the top, so I'm kind of like I fluffed it out, and I did all that and just I don't know.
