Work To Date Hairstyle (Heatless Waves!) - All Things Hair

An easy way to achieve heatless waves while rocking a cute hairstyle for work or school! This look does work better with longer hair so if your hair is longer than mine you'll have a better end result.

Hey guys to show you a hairstyle that gets your hair out of your face for work and also doubles as a way to get heatless waves. So I'm starting off with towel-dried hair and you want to apply either a mousse or gel. And this is the flawless curls moose from Trez Mei and I'm just applying a small amount. If you have longer hair, you want to apply more and then I'm just rubbing this between my hands and then evenly distributing it to my hair. So you want your hair to be about 90 % dry before styling, so just wait for it to dry and then I'm splitting my hair down the middle. You could do a side part if you want and then we're going to be twisting the front sections back. So just grab a piece of hair split it into two parts and then wrap the pieces around each other and then I'm also grabbing hair from the front and adding it into the twist as I go along. So it's kind of like a French twist, and then you just want to keep doing that till you get to the bottom of your hair and then I'm just gon na be clipping this out of the way. While I work on the other side, once you're done twisting both sides of your hair, you just want to grab the pieces at the back and twist those extra pieces around themselves and then wrap the twisted hair around itself to form a low button. And then I'm just going to be using bobby pins to pin it into place. So that is how you achieve this super easy look, and then you can just go up to work or sit around for a couple hours like I did. You could even sleep on this if you want, and then you just want to take out the bobby pins and carefully unravel the twists with your fingers and run your hands through your hair a little bit to loosen it up and get your curls to any. Where you want it and if you wanted to, you, could use a curling rod to add a couple more curls. But I wanted to leave this completely heatless and you can just leave it down if you want. But I wanted to clip the top part of my hair back, so that is what I'm doing here. I think this look would be perfect for a casual summer day, just hanging out running errands pretty much anything. So hopefully you guys enjoyed today's tutorial and I'll see you guys. All in my next video bye, you

Millie Lee: That hairstyle suits you amazingly and your hair is so fine that it only takes you a few minutes to do! My hair is three/four times as long and thick! It's also very wavy so hairstyles like this will take for AGES! I envy you!

Sara Nava: The texture of my hair is quite similar to yours and I tend to have some difficulty deciding what to do with it considering that most hairstyles don't work out. I was hoping that you would do more tutorials on hair because there are so many hairstyles I wish I could do but it's so thin and I do sports so I don't want to deal with extensions during school. Looking to you for more inspiration(: thanks, love.

Jacyn Gilbert: Love these hair styles! How long does it usually take to do?

Caitlin Hicks: I envy the girls with straight hair who have to style it to get it wavy/curly. When it's your natural hair it gets annoying :(

awyssa wynne: so cute!!

Noblebird02: Do you think this would give you more or less curl than a dutch crown braid?
