Ladies we've all been guilty of misusing and abusing our hot styling tools, we have damaged our own hair and made it difficult to manage. So how do we get one step closer to achieving healthier hair? One of these steps is to drastically reduce the amount of heat that you put on it or, what's a girl to do for styling, you might ask just go heatless hello, my darlings in today's tutorial. I'M going to show you just one of the ways that you can style your hair without any heat whatsoever. This messy beachy look is one of my favorites because it literally looks like I was out on the beach all day long, it's effortless it's easy and it has such a chill vibe about it. So if you want to know how I created these sexy heatless Beach waves, keep watching to recreate this look, you will need a hairbrush, a bunch of hair elastics, a shine serum or oil of your choice. I'M using my current favorite hair oil by badger and I'll leave a link for you guys down below in case you're interested. You will also need a bottle of water or filtered tap water, a couple of hair clips for sectioning, your hair and, lastly, you will need an empty spray bottle like this one. I just picked this up at my local shoppers Drug Mart in Canada, but they also have these travel size, cosmetics, bottles at Walgreens, CVS and Walmart. For all of my American viewers for added length and extra volume, I clipped in my 240 grams set of fancy hair extensions in hazelnuts dirty blonde. If you would like more information of fancy hair extensions, please see the description below. Ok, let's begin remove the lid from the spray bottle and fill it up 3/4 of the way with water. Next add about 10 pumps of your hair oil into the water. A hair oil will help your hair stay slick and will prevent it from getting frizzy when the water dries. It will also add a healthy shine to your hair, provide some extra heat protection from the sun's rays and provide some much-needed nourishment to any damaged areas. Now, just screw the spray bottle, lid back on and you're each wave elixir is ready to be applied to your hair. Next, do you want to simply section your hair and work from the bottom of your hair up to the top I'm creating my first section at about ear level and clipping away all of the hair at the tops of it is out of my way, I'm furthest Separating the bottom section into two sections take one of these sections and spray, your elixir all over the section until it feels semi wet just make sure you shake the bottle before spraying, every time to make sure that the oil gets evenly distributed. Once your section feels semi-wet, you want to work super fast because it will dry fairly quickly twist the section tightly in the same direction until it starts to coil up around the base and keep twisting until the entire strand of hair is twisted into a coiled bun. This is called a bantu knot. Next, you want to take a hair elastic and tie it around the base of the bantu knot to make sure that the ends of your hair are secure and then knot won't unravel itself. All you have to do now is repeat these steps, all over your head working section by section, this entire process literally takes 15 minutes or less, depending on the length and thickness of your hair. Oh and one more quick tip before I fast forward, make sure that you brush your hair before dampening each section. Hair is very fragile when it's wet and brushing it while it's wet will cause it to break and become damaged. Now that you look like an alien from outer space, just spray on some more of your hair licks are all over your head until the bantu knots are nice and moist. Now all you have to do is wait, and in my case you can entertain yourself too. The longer you wait, the more defined the waves will be. The best is to do this before bed so that you can unravel the bantu knots in the morning, but I'm going to come back in an hour and a half to show you the results all right. It'S been an hour and a half, and I'm ready to reveal my heatless beach waves. All you have to do is remove the hair elastics one by one and comb, your fingers through your hair to loosen up the coils. You might have some sections of hair around your face. They look too coiled up, but don't worry and please do not go running for your hair straightener. To fix this. All you have to do is take your shaken hair, elixir that we made in this tutorial and spray it on the sections that you want to relax, while the sections are a little wet, smooth them out with your fingers. Until you have achieved the look that you want see, problem solved and no hot styling tools were used anywhere in this tutorial. Lastly, in order to blend your beautiful beach waves together, gently brush them out from bottom to top and mist some more of your hair elixir. All over and brush through with your fingers, this will soften any kinks and make your hair look like. It was naturally created by the Sun and the sea. I feel like a true bohemian beach babe with these awesome waves, they're so easy to create, and if you don't count the waiting period, these bantu knots actually style your hair faster than hot styling tools, all the style, the none of the damage. That'S pretty amazing! If you ask me, I love this look and we'll definitely be turning to this technique. More often, while reducing the amount of heat that I apply to my hair, are you willing to go on a hot, styling tool break with me?
