What'S up guys, so a lot of you wanted to see a tutorial on this bun when I posted it to my Instagram account, and so I decided I would make one really quick for you. Well, let me tell you this bun is so easy that by the end of it, you're gon na look at me like I'm crazy for even uploading, something so simple, but you guys wanted it so here it goes, oh and don't mind my voice, I'm a little Sick now, I usually only use these Co formers to stretch my hair, because I really don't like the Shirley Temple spiral curls that they create, but for this bun you actually want to leave them, as is because that's what's gon na create the awesome texture of the Bun so just take your hair out of the heatless curling rods and don't do anything to them, don't stretch them, don't take them apart. Nothin just leave them, as is now we're. Just gon na need two simple objects to complete this bun, a headband and bobby pins. That'S it so now just dip your head forward, so all the curls fall to the front, and I slide that head pin up the back of my head and then pull to tighten it just like you're making an afro puff. Then I just twist that excess headband elastic in the back to secure it and then bobby, pin it in place at the base of the ponytail. If you have enough of that, headband material to go around your head twice go for it, but I don't like to force it pretty much any time I make a ponytail either with a headband or ribbon ties. I just bobby, pin the excess material at the base. It'S always hidden under the hair, so no one can see it and it's more gentle on my hair and roots because I'm not pulling my hair or trying to force an elastic around it that doesn't want to fit okay, so my headband is pin literally all I Do is fold the curls back and if you need a bit more length because the curls are too tight, just pull upwards on the ponytail a bit and then using both hands just fold the curls backwards and voila. There is your beautiful button. Now we just bobby, pin all the curls in the back where they meet at the base of the ponytail to secure the bun in place, and if you need to work with a couple of curls out of time because they keep wiggling out, that's fine. Just do what you got ta do for the shorter curls that don't reach all the way back. You don't want to pull them too. Tight or you'll decrease the volume in the bun, so I just pin them into the bun half way. Just now I clean up and style my edges and that's it. I told you this bun was ridiculously easy. As long as you have curlformers or even flexi rods, you can make this really cute chic bun in less than five minutes. So I was calling this a messy bun on Instagram and you guys. Definitely let me know that you are not feeling that name and yeah. I can see that so. Instead, I'm gon na call this a perfect curl bun. If you like that, name better and let me know in the comments below alright guys, I hope you enjoyed this quick and easy heatless hairstyle. If you try, it be sure to send me a picture on Instagram or Twitter, alright, guys I'll see in the next one. Click the link to the left to see another easy heatless protective style and put the link to the right to come check out my daily vlog channel. Alright, we'll see you there

adri: AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO SAW 4 CUTE STYLE IN THIS ONE TUTORIAL? Whitney i loved the curly sue look (all down). I like the curly pony .i liked the half bun half curls. Also the perfect bun was great!

ShantaDanelle: Just when I think that I've seen my umpteenth twist out, braid out or flexi/perm rod set tutorial & that nothing original is being done in the natural hair community, you produce something as simple, gorgeous, fresh and NEW as this! Love, love, love it! Thank you!

Lelda Jordan: My goodness! This bun is everything. I haven't worn my hair in a bun for almost a year now but this has inspired me.

This is my second attempt at being a natural and some how with fellow you tubers like you, I've been natural for 4 years and I'm loving it.i have two daughters age 16 and 9 and they are naturals as well. Just by my progress, styles, and health of my hair. My friends have chosen to become naturals... I just wanted to express my gratuity for your YouTube video's. Simply Sims: I am going to try this on my daughter's hair!! Love this Whitney!!! Oh..the name is perfect!!!

AshleyinWonderland: Serious curlspiration!!! i have been watching you for years but I just went natural last august. Its funny I thought my hair would be "nappy" because of my 4c texture but my relaxed hair is actually 10x more rough than my natural hair lol. I have been fooling myself all of these years. I have now realized that unhealthy hair is nappy/dead. I cant wait till my hair grows out.

Dephne Aviyah: Amazing and so elegant! Thanks for sharing this!

jammingalways: Simply beautiful and simple!  Love it!

Shortcake39553: Like I've been saying for years, you are super creative. Thanks! I can't wait to try this.

Mrs. Adriann: You've done a great job with your hair! I've seen some of your videos and kudos to you! I'm a "stretcher" so use rods in between so I want to try this.  By the way, before you finished the remaining loose curls were super cute over you eye too.

Shantia Allen: I love this bun! I have hair past my shoulder but not quite arm pit length, so I hope can do this as well

BklynQueenInLA: This was definitely helpful and not a waste of time to upload. Thank you for yet another great suggestion on styling my hair after taking out the curl formers. I will definitely try this. And I LOVE the bracelet!!

uppityupshaw: Flawless! I can't wait to do this!

ramsay014: Whit...You are literally the best thing that's ever happened to my hair. I never thought to NOT force the ponytails. My natural hair is huge, and I'm always worried about my roots when I wrap a hair tie or headband twice.

Shanice T: Perfect timing! I just did a flexi rod set last night, I will definitely try this.

PuddinCak: Great tip about tying the headband! Beautiful style. Thanks!

Thatz BK: You are so awesome, I have been on your channel for a year and 1 month now and that's great. But what you do is so spectacular. You make videos that includes only natural hair, like in your channel I haven't seen or heard of a single straightening hair tutorial and that's good that all you do is natural hair. Keep doing what you do

Denise M: Absolutely Too Cute! I love it. :-) Thanks for sharing

MonkMonk: I love this style!!

Jimila H: Loving the texture and shine in your hair Nap!! It's looking very healthy. Quick question though hon, WHO is that singing in the background??? Sounds awesome. I really like the beat!

Weka Brown: I need curlformers in my life!!! SO cute :)

mjgarner123: Perfectly beautiful bun.  Thanks for the tip regarding the headband.  Were the curlformers set on freshly washed hair?  If so, how long did it take to dry? BTW... Happy Valentines Day to you, Felipe and sweet Olivia!!!  :)
