Hey folks, so today I'm going to be showing you a few different styles on my tapered cut right now I have my hair in twists and in the back I have applied curl enhancing smoothie by Shea Moisture. That'Ll dry. So don't worry about the white residue. You see there and let's go ahead and get started with the first style, so the first thing I'm going to do is just take down my twist and in retrospect I probably should have done these Styles without a twist out, because my hair texture actually or curl Pattern has loosened considerably since my hair has been growing out more, and so it's just a much looser curl now, which can make it a little bit more different difficult for some of the styling that I'd like to do so. But anyway, I am going ahead and I'm pulling this apart, pulling apart these twists, it's actually really easy and if you haven't yet go ahead and check out my twist out video to see how I do by doing stems - and as you can see here, I'm almost Into the first style of my hair, by just pulling apart the twists, so once that's done, I just go ahead and I finger style. I pull the hair over to one side. I did put that part there. As you can see. I think I did that last night when I was twisting my hair, so it was all kind of off to the side, and then I use a wide tooth comb to add some volume and to kind of pull some of those curls apart just a little bit. I normally I use normally I use a normal. I use a pink, but I can't find my pick but, as you can see again, don't worry about that. The white residue in the back there that will come out very shortly, you'll see by the end of this video that it will all be kind of dried out, but up yeah. This is pretty much it. This is the first style. This is a style where people always tell me like Vanessa Huxtable from The Cosby Show PS. I hate that there's, but I guess I can see it okay, so this is the next step. So, as you can see, I am just going ahead and using my fingers and I'm pulling the hair to the middle of my head so instead of it being off to the side. With that part, I'm pulling the hair to the middle of my head and then I'm using my comb again. A pic actually works a lot better for this, but I'm using a comb or a pic to kind of pull out. The texture just make it a little bit more stiff, and this will give me some height to on the hair. This is actually one of my favorite styles, because it's super funky and bold, just like I'm here. What rocking the taper cut? Yes, yeah! So that's pretty much it you just kind of keep it pulling it until it's right. The way you want it to look and use your fingers and you Pat it in place, see I told you that shea moisture stuff would dry out quickly. Alright, so next style we have bobby pins and I am just pulling the hair back into kind of like a bouffant or koo font. Rather they just coupon or coupon. I should know so. French word: isn't it and then I'm just pinning it back, and if you have it, if you give, your hair is shorter in the front than mine, definitely go ahead and check out my one of the tutorials I have for an updo where I use big chop. Clip ins to create a similar style with this is basically the style put those pins in and there you have it and that's it folks, cute right now: let's go to the next style and this the last couple of styles, actually I'm using accessories. So this is a wire headband that I purchased. I think I got this one in New York at a hair event in the city over the summer, but I have some of these that I've purchased on Amazon too, that are super cute, so Amazon eBay has these wire headbands. That are super cute, and this is my next style now: let's go, keep it moving, so the next style is actually really easy, because all I got ta do is put on a hat. So how cute it just changes. Your whole looks you get that like Bruno Mars. Look at that highlight yes, honey, yes and that's it, and now I'm just going to go ahead and take out the bobby pins and just pick the hair out a little bit again and the hats back on.
