Here's a hair tutorial for some beautiful heatless overnight beachy waves for medium or long hair. This easy and cute hairstyle is great for all season and everyday occasions. I love doing these small waves on my 2nd/3rd day flat hair. This heatless waves method will lift up your roots and provide you with instant volume in the morning. The trick is parting your hair accordingly and braiding closely to your roots. It's one of my favorite no heat hairstyles that saves me time when I'm running late for school.

Hello: everyone happy new year, here's my first video for 2014, I'm gon na show you how to get some pretty heatless waves. I'Ve been loving this hairstyle and wearing it quite often, so I hope you enjoy it too. How you part your hair is very important. I'M going to start by showing those of you with a middle parting you're, going to follow the arch of your eyebrows on both sides to the violet section in the middle. In the end, you should have two side sections and one in the center. So three, in total, now you have a side parting. Like me, then you're going to divide out your hair in the middle, starting with one side, follow the ends of your eyebrow in an angle to divide this part in half secure each section away, repeat the same steps to the other side, and you should end up With 4 small sections in total, after doing this hairstyle a few times, you won't have to bother tying each section away. You'Ll get used to knowing how much hair to take and everything will be faster. Ok, so now the real work begins. You'Re going to release the bottom section on one side and dampen it with some water here, you're going to do a Dutch or French braid. Whichever is easier for you, I'm going with the Dutch braid, so I'm basically adding hair to each outside sections before putting them under the middle. I'Ve linked a separate video on the screen and in the description box in case you'd, like a more detailed tutorial since I like my wave to be small, I'm going to braid tightly. If you like yours to be bigger and more relaxed, you should have bigger sections of hair and braids loosely when you get to the very bottom tie this off with a thin elastic, then continue with the section above. If you have any base like I do, then it may be a little difficult, but try to do your best. I find that it really helps if you spray it down with some water first, once you're done, move on to the other side and braid the other two sections in the end, you should have four braids or comb rolls in total. If you have a middle party to begin with, then you should have three braids in total. Now you should wait for your hair to be completely dry. It may take up to two hours, but I'd recommend sleeping on them overnight for best results. After my hair has dried, I'm unraveling my braids, and this is really fun to do. Then, I'm going to part my hair back to the side and you can see that every part of my hair looks wavy even my bangs, comparing this to my hair earlier. There'S definitely more volume. I really love this hairstyle and I hope you all will try it out and let me know how it goes to Instagram how long these waves last depends on each person. I find if I sleep on the braids overnight, they will hold up pretty long, even without any hairspray. Here'S the comparison picture for you. I tried this out on my mom as an experiment for those of you with shorter hair. She has shoulder-length hair, that's party in the middle, so I did three fairly loose french braids. I think the results turned out pretty well, so give it a try, even if you have shorter hair, if you have any questions or video requests, remember to leave it down in the comments below. Sam Urash: To get an even better result, you can put mousse in your hair before doing the braids. I myself do not know how to French/Dutch braid, I do normal braids throughout my hair (which they end up being over 20 in total!) and I get a volumized result.
