Hi and welcome back to my channel, it is your girl felicia here with another video. If you are new to my channel hey, i am your girl felicia, you can call me fee and what i want to do is do a show you guys how i maintain my hair throughout the week. If you guys don't know, i have short relaxed hair. I have what they call a pixie cut. I relaxed my hair back in february and so i haven't been doing a lot of hair videos, but i decided i'll try to sprinkle some in here and there i did have someone say they would like to see more hair videos from me. So i'm gon na show you guys how i maintain my hair throughout the week, but first i wanted to just show you what i start with. So it is saturday i typically wash my hair wash and style my hair on the weekends. I do do my hair myself. I do everything except cut it so today i did a partial relaxer. If you don't know what a partial relaxer is, that is when you relax the um size and back of your hair. This is good when you have short hair, because it helps to maintain your style. It helps your hair to uh lay down, and you know, because your hair is shorter on this side, it just needs to be relaxed a little bit more than usual. So this is what my hair is so real, quick. I want to show y'all how i get my hair together for bed. My nighttime routine, for my hair is real simple. I don't do a lot it's first. I just want to make sure that everything is laid down. I don't even add a lot of product to my hair during the week i just kind of brush. You know everything down and kind of make sure my edges is laid kind of okay. The main goal is, i don't want to wake up in the morning and have hair kind of like all over the place. So i kind of like just lay everything down like so so see and, like i said, i don't use a lot of product and then, as far as this up here uh i would usually i would try to set it, but because it's growing out it. It'S just doing that so i'll just kind of take it in, but if it had like my if it was shorter and i had a more defined like mold with waves, i would kind of like reset that mode into those waves, but because it's kind of growing Out whatever so next, i use this velcro hair wrap and i just take that and put it around my hair, like so, and that makes sure that this lays down - and i try not to do it super tight and then i take my bonnet and i just Put it over my hair like so, and that's basically how i get my hair together for not at night real, quick. I do this every night and yeah, that's it! I like i said i don't really use products at night on my hair. I just usually wait until the morning and i don't use a lot of products and my hair anyway, so yeah now i'm about to go to bed so real quick. I want to show y'all how i get my hair together for bed. My nighttime routine, for my hair is real simple. I don't do a lot so first things. First, i just want to make sure that everything is laid down. I don't even add a lot of product to my hair during the week i just kind of brush. You know everything down and kind of make sure my edges is laid kind of okay. The main goal is, i don't want to wake up in the morning and have hair kind of like all over the place, so i kind of like just lay everything down like so so you can see and, like i said, i don't use a lot of product And then, as far as this up here uh i would usually i would try to set it, but because it's growing out it it's just going there so i'll, just kind of take it in. But if it had like my if it was shorter and i had a more defined like mold with waves, i would kind of like reset that mode into those waves, but because it's kind of growing out whatever so next. I use this velcro hair wrap and i just take that and put it around my hair like so, and that make sure that all of this lays down - and i try not to do it super tight. And then i take my bonnet and i just put it over my hair like so, and that's basically how i get my hair together for not at night real, quick. I do this every night and yeah, that's it. I, like i said i don't really use products at night on my hair. I just usually wait until the morning and i don't use a lot of products in my hair anyway, so yeah now i'm about to go to bed good morning. It is sunday morning. I am about to go and have brunch with the brunch, but ain't, nothing like a sunday morning, brunch all right, so i need to show you guys. This is my second day uh with my hair. So i slept with this on and this is how i was looking when i got up this morning and of course i have no curls back here and my curls. My little curls was on the side anywho. This is what my hair looks like day two, so i really don't have to do much to it. It'S kind of good all in place. I really don't even have to like comb it or manipulate it as much. The only thing that i'm going to do is focus on, like my edges, kind of move getting that together and putting some oil on it and some holding spray so that i'm going to use my cream of nature. Argan oil extra firm, hold edge gel. I have to say that of all the edge controls that i think i've used and tried. This one has really stand the test, like i put a little yesterday, and it really gets my edges to lay down on top of the fact that i just had that partial. But typically i would use my finger and i'm gon na go ahead. Y'All um: i am really trying to hold on with these with these with this nail life, but it is starting to get on my nerve, so take just a little bit and put it on my edges. This brush wait a minute. I have this brush, which i use to lay my edges. It'S actually like a teaser brush, but it kind of gets my edges better. So i'm just going to use that to kind of just get the so i'm going to lay this same way, and i just basically the way. However, i molded it, i don't do nothing fancy and then i take the rest of that sideburn and i just bring it over like that. To give me like a curve like so and like i said this, this one ain't that cute this edge control, this extra firm hole it holds and then, as far as the top goes, i'm just going to take my brush and just bring that over like that, Because my hair is longer, i can't really do it too much with it like. As far as the designs and i'll let go to frame my face, but that's mainly the goal is just making sure that i'm framing my face around here and then i am going to take my sebastian shaper spray, and what i like to do is i'll spray That, like so all right next next, i'm just going to spray some oil sheen on it. Just give it a little sheen, and i need to do my makeup and still get dressed and everything like that. But i kind of want these and my edges and sad birds to lay so i'm just going to use this to wrap around, to lay that and what i like about this is it ties. So i like that. I like to use this when i know i'm doing my makeup, because i can just move it or whatever. This is basically what i do to refresh my hair in the mornings every day it is monday morning, which means it is time for me to hit the gym, but i am tired as i'll get out, but i'm gon na show you guys how i what i Do for my hair to kind of maintain it while i go to the gym. I just take this back to my front and kind of move it to the back, not too much, and then, of course, you got to make sure those size and back is laid down in your edges, mainly because, if you sweat at least they'll sweat at least They'Ll get uh wet in that shape and i use a thin. This is a very thin hair, wrap black velcro hair wrap, and i just put it on like so i like to use this thin one, because if i do sweat like that, in my hair at least this is thin, so it'll dry fast, which also means it'll Help my hair dry fast, and that is pretty much it um and when i come from the gym today is monday. I work from home, so i don't have to like come home and do like no huge thing. Typically, what i'll do is i'll just let this stay on until my hair is completely dry. That way, it will kind of i sweat. It'Ll get wet i'll, keep this on it'll dry and almost kind of mold again, while it's drying, so i don't really have to worry too much about it, but i'll show it to you once i come back from the gym all right. I am back from the gym: had a nice little workout um, my hair is actually dry, so i'll. Take this off and show y'all, but yeah. This is dry, so yeah, but i'm about to hop in the shower. So i might as well have kept it on, but i just wanted to show y'all my hair after the gym um, it's not wet. Typically, if i do sweat, i will sweat along these parts, not so much up in here so yeah. So i'm about to hop in the shower and, like i said today is my remote day: i'm working from home, so i'm not gon na really do too much to my hair today, and that is it. That'S all sorry, i didn't. I didn't sweat it out for y'all, but yeah. That'S what my hair looks like after the gym all right. It is thursday morning i am getting ready for work, so this is what day five of this hair. So i'm gon na show you what i do. I do have like some frizz up along here, just and that's my fault from washing my face and stuff and not putting something there to stop it from getting wet. So i'm gon na show you kind of like how i style my hair around this time. Um, it don't look bad, it's not bad. I still have like some texture to it. I don't have no curls the curls been gone. They left they left the building a long time ago, but i'm gon na show you real quick how i kind of style it once i get to this part um first things. First, like i said i want to start moisturizing more. I will say that this video has been helping me to kind of see um what i need to do with my hair. So i am moisturizing more i'm using my pantene go series hydrating oil, i'm gon na get something else, and i'm just gon na use this. As a styler, so i add shine and stuff to my hair. So rub it all the way in and getting that through my hair as such kind of getting it in parts, that's kind of looking a little scraggly, and so now i'm going to actually kind of like restyle, my hair. So what i'm going to do is i'm going to take this part and i'm going to create a soft part, and what i mean by soft part is that i'm not really making the line like taking it in apartment, just redirecting my hair and i'm gon na. Take this and kind of go that way, and not so much since it's kind of frizzy up here, i'm not gon na! Take it too much to the back like do it like so, and i'm going to be using my ion styling pomade. I like to use this when i'm doing stuff like this, where i'm like redirecting my hair or like restyling, my hair, while still dry, and so this is what it looks like. And i just take not a lot about that. Much and rub that on my hands and then i'm just going to put it through my hair, you can use this every day if you want, i just don't and you kind of just remove your hair, how you want it, so i'm not gon na put too Much to the back like so and then go ahead and lay lay these edges a little bit. I still don't need a lot of product, so i'm just going to tap my hand in there like so. Oh, this is the biz nai and i'm gon na focus mo up here, because that's where it's kind of looking a little raggedy some edge control up there, camouflage all that frizzy hair like so, and then i have really been enjoying doing this video because i was Kind of struggling with my hair, as far as like how i want to style it and what i want to do with it. But this video, like i don't know if i said it before it's helping me more than and y'all, because i'm kind of like really seeing taking the time and really spending some time with my hair and really getting to see like how this style is working. For me what you know, what do i need to be doing more of less of with my hair so documenting my routines, and everything has really been helpful for me. So, of course, i'm going to use my handy dandy, sebastian, shaper, plus and just kind of set everything. So this is what it's looking like. So basically, i just added like a soft part and kind of bronzer hair over a little bit and off away from my face i'll go ahead. And - and this is good like when you're starting to get in between your styles or it's getting close to washing your hair, this is a good way to kind of finesse. Your hair and the pomade just gives you a little bit more texture and helps to you know smooth it out and style it. So i can wear it like this today and tomorrow and then i can probably watch it friday. I mean saturday or sunday depending on what i'm doing, but i could probably get away with like stretch out my you know time before i wash it so i like to do it like that, and then i'm going to, of course, as always tie my hair down With my scarf just to get those parts to lay down and i'll show y'all what it looked like once i tried to get out a closer look to what it looked like and all of that all right y'all. Today it is friday. I am working from home today. This is my remote day. Last night i went to bed. I did not tie my hair down so give y'all a close-up of what my hair is looking like, if i don't tie it down at night, so because i am at home today, and it is a chilly day, we have a brisk fall day at the end Of may so, if i do have to go outside, if i do do anything um i could fix my hair, but if i don't think i have any plans so because of that and i'm washing my hair tomorrow, if i do need to go outside this, would Be the move, so that's it y'all! This is going to be the end of this video tomorrow i will be shampooing my hair and i've done shampoo videos on my short relaxed hair. So i'm in this video here i hope you guys enjoyed it as much as i enjoyed making it, because i got a chance to really see what i need to be doing more of with my hair. It gave me a chance to um like get into my haircut or how my hair is sound, because i was unsure about what i wanted to do in my hair, so seeing it documenting it, and everything like that kind of gave me um a guide of how I want to wear my hair moving forward so yeah if you have any questions or anything about that about any of the products that i use, leave them down in the comments section. I hope you guys enjoyed this video, don't forget to like and subscribe and i'll see you in my next video bye
