Hey guys welcome back to my channel, my name is seminyu and for today's video i want to talk about a topic that can be a bit controversial or arguable, but i think it's time for us to have this conversation. Why is it that we are moisturizing and concealing our relaxed hair and why i think it's unnecessary for us to do it, but before we jump right into the video, please make sure to subscribe to my channel leave a like on this video and comment down below. Let'S jump right into the video, so i want to answer a series of questions. First off is what exactly is moisturizing and sealing your hair? Why is it that we are moisturizing and sealing our relaxed hair and what are the possible damages? So, first off, let's talk about what exactly is moisturizing and sealing so moisturizing and sealing is a two-step series or method in which that you use a moisturizer. For example, you will use this olive oil moisturizer to moisturize your hair, and then you will use a oil and preferably would be like a carrot - oil so, for instance, jojoba oil or coconut oil to seal in that moisture into your hair to lock it in. So that's the process of moisturizing and sealing, and it has been said that it helps to really moisturize your hair to help to prevent any breakage, and it's shutting out eventually leading to. Let me length retention and possibly further leads to length acquisition. So thing for me is that i used to moisturize and seal my hair and my hair was completely going through it. It would just break for no reason i was experiencing a lot of shedding, so i thought that i needed my moisturizing game. So at the time i had my professional hairstylist and she would say to me that i need to properly moisturize my hair, especially the nape of my hair, because it was breaking so much so i bought my olive oil moisturizer. I had previous ones, but i thought that okay, let me try this one, especially since it's a water-based moisturizer. I heard that this one is better for your hair, so it does not weigh your hair down, so i bought that and to no avail. My hair was still breaking. I was still experiencing a lot of shedding, no matter what i did so i turned to a family friend of mine that is a hairstylist that specialized in relaxed hair for over 20 plus years, and i asked her what is it that i'm not doing right? Because i am doing everything that's where i'm washing my hair weekly, i'm doing my protein treatment, i'm doing my deep conditioning treatment, but my hair is just doing so poorly. We went through my regiment and all the products that i'm going through, and she told me that i should get rid of my moisturizer and i was so stubborn. I thought that that woman lost her mind. I was like there is no inhale. I am going to give this up because this is a moisturizer, it's supposed to moisturize my hair. So what are you telling me always that my hair is going to be moisturized? If i get rid of this moisturizer? I would like to see it so she said to me that these moisturizers are not for our hair, it's mainly geared towards natural hair. Her reasoning is that, even if it's silicone or it's the water-based one, the silicone one gets your hair so heavy and way down the water-based. One has so much water in it that you're constantly wetting your hair and the thing with relaxed hair. It doesn't like to be wet frequently believe it or not. So all in time you should really what your relaxed hair is when you're washing it. So she said to me: i should get rid of all of my moisturizers and i should go into using hair glossing polish. Why? Why why? Why why? I was very apprehensive and it took me a long time to do it, but she said just make sure to do your protein treatment every month and do your deep conditioning treatment every single week and make sure you wash your hair. So i have another video too, where i go through all of my routine, what i do and how i try to prevent hair breakage and shedding with all my steps that i use, i will leave links to them down below, so you can check them out to Give you further details, but she said to me just give it a try, because whenever you're using this, it makes your hair so wet that your hair kotex swells up and because it's holding so much water and over time it does have a negative effect on your Hair, so it's holding so much water that it makes your hair brittle and dry. So your hair, just snaps, so you have to be careful whenever you're using these moisturizers. So she said to me just make sure that i use my glossier polish and the glossier polish. That i'm using right now is from proclaim, and this one is their olive oil glossing polish and i use this daily, so i use it in the morning when i get up and at night, when i'm wrapping my hair to go to bed, i don't like to Use heavy oils on my hair only time it's what i'm doing my hot oil treatment before i wash my hair and sometimes at night after the third day of washing my hair, i base my scalp, sometimes with my castor oil um, a little mixture of oils that I have i will base my scalp, but i don't use it on my hair because it would get so heavy. So i try to stay away from the moisturizers and the heavy carrier oils. When i used to do moisturizing, i hated it because my hair would be so way down. I can't get to really enjoy my relax here and why would i even relax my hair? If i can enjoy it? It'S just ridiculous. So i really didn't even like it. Anyways, but i was just convinced that i am supposed to use these moisturizers because oh it was made for relaxer. Oh everybody is using it and they say it's really good for your hair. So of course you have to believe it right. So i was definitely convinced that it was just me and it was definitely not the moisturizer, but i am so happy that i took that information in and i actually made the steps to get rid of these moisturizers and it's the best thing i've ever done. For my hair trust me there's a whole different world outside of moisturizers, so so guys i'm not coming to you as a know-it-all. I am in no way perseverance when it comes to relaxed hair. I am an obvious - i'm not a professional, of course, but getting professional help or advice does really help. My hair i've been doing my hair myself, and the advice that my friend has given me over these past few months has really helped my hair and, to be honest with you, you really don't like after really giving it a try, you really don't need the moisturizer, Because my hair has been thriving so much better without it, all you need to do is make sure that you have a proper just a proper protein treatment. You do that every month and the best time that you can do your protein treatment is actually whenever you're relaxing your hair. This is a step my friend taught me to is. Whenever i'm rinsing out my relaxer before i go in and do my neutralizing treatment, i make sure to go in and do my protein treatment immediately make sure to wash out the relaxer out of your hair fully then do your protein treatment immediately and then follow up With your deep conditioning treatment and her reason is that your hair shaft is more open, so it can take in all of that protein treatment and moisture back into your hair. So whenever you use a neutralizing shampoo, their hair strands will close back up. So she said that it's the best time to actually do your protein treatment, so i have been doing that and my hair has been strong. My hair is completely thriving, it's doing so well, so i can definitely say that i don't need to do it. I just make sure that i wash my hair and do my deep conditioning treatment every single week. So nothing is wrong with moisturizing seeing your hair, it's just that. It'S not meant for relaxed hair. These moisturizers are more effective on natural hair, so a relative of mine just went natural and my friend told her to buy these moisturizers for her hair because it does makes your hair your natural hair thrive, but it's just not for relaxed hair. It becomes so swollen. It becomes really brittle and it will break so. You think that the moisturizer is helping you to moisturize. Your hair is doing the complete opposite that your hair becomes so dry and frizzy, and what i realized is that when it comes to moisturizing and seeing your hair, it does better too, with text lacks hair. So if your hair has a lot of textures to it, it does thrive better. It doesn't look as dead. It doesn't look as way down as our really straight relaxed hair. So if you do have a lot of texture, it can work. It can work a little bit more effective than somebody that on the relaxed side, so there's a difference between relax and there's a difference between texlax trust me. So if you are relaxed, i would say stay away from moisturizing and seeing your hair just try to just use your glossing polish. Every single day morning and night before you go to bed the same brands that you love, they do have glossing polishers just use those. Instead and make sure to just stick to your regimen and do your protein treatment every single month and your deep conditioning treatment and you will be good, so don't throw tomatoes just try for yourself and let me know what you think about it just stay away from It girl, you will be fine. Okay, just hand me out stay away from moisturizers okay, so i hope that you are receptive to this information. Let me know down below what you think and if you do like moisturizers and if they do help your hair, i mean everyone is different at the end of the day, but i'm just telling you my experience and the advice from an expert in this field. So let me know what you think down below: do you like moisturizers, or do you really like glossing polishers? So this is the end of the video make sure to subscribe to my channel leave a like on this video and comment down below. I will see you in my next one bye,

Sammi Nu: Please stop comparing relaxed hair and texlaxed or texturized hair. Moisturized and sealed is more compatible with texlaxed or texturized hair as I mentioned. I think a lot of people are discombobulated as it relates to what exactly is relaxed or texturized hair. Some of these YouTubers are misinforming us with a lot of information! One minute they are texlaxed and next they are relaxed! whatever to beat the algorithm I guess.....

Sinead P: I think it’s about what works for the individual tbh. I’ve reached waist length thanks to moisturizing and dealing with a pea sized amount either everyday or every other day. If I don’t do it, my hair will be so dry and frizzy

Alicia Jones: There is no one set rule to relaxed hair nor natural hair. Each individual hair is different. The key is learning what “Your” hair likes. Listening to your hair and how it responds when you try a new routine or a different hair product. Once you discover that stick to it and your hair will flourish!

Pat B: The thing about relaxed hair is that you can't just moisturize and seal and leave your hair like that. Once you wet your hair, you must set it in a style . Be it a roller set, a braid out or a bantu knot out. You have to give your hair direction once it's wet or it will dry frizzy and feel brittle. Good video

Skinfluencer: This is a very interesting perspective and thank you for adding to the conversation. Just goes to show the level of detail that goes into hair specific products i.e. relaxed hair needing less everyday water than natural hair. Also a great example of what works for others might not work for you.

Kar Thompson: Girlie, you might be on to something! When I had a relaxer, I never did the traditional moisturize and seal. I would only use a hairdress- keracare or design essentials as my moisturizer once or twice a week. Sometimes I would use their oil as well just a tiny bit. My hair was never weighed down and I have fine low porosity hair. My routine was simple. Wash and deep condition with a moisturizing conditioner once a week, a protein deep condition once a month. A light weight water based leave in treatment, roller set, dry then wrap. Silk/satin scarf at night. Result was healthy colour treated hair below bra strap length. I believe if you are washing and deep conditioning weekly, then you don’t need the constant moisturizing and sealing.

Lami S: This is amazing how I went through the exact same thing with the exact same confusion!! Led me into a set back of hair that was dried out just like you explained and all the shedding! Ladiesss! We neeed to use YouTubers as a guide only. 4 years and many set backs later, I am back to my basics! And my hair is shining again for the first time in too long! With my staple ORS conditioner and sealing every other day with a serum or petroleum jelly! Yes! Petroleum jelly!! Let’s listen to our hair I’m glad people are clocking on to this

Valeria Stokes: I agree. I never self relaxed and had my stylist, but she retired. The more I moist and seal and stretched to 20-24 weeks the drier my hair and the shedding. I had a major set back and went to a stylist who specializes in relaxers. Told me to stop moisture and sealing, use serums: olive oil, carrot, or bio silk. She cut the dead hair about 6 inches. Healthy hair at collar bone length. I am through stretching past 12 weeks. My hair was always stringy, and all I did was wear it in bun. Not every one can do all that moist and seal. I have discarded all the oils , leave ins, protein sprays, and decided rather than buy all that stuff I go to her once per month.

Kurlymeka: Hair moisturizers are ok to use on your hair, the problem is that people tend to wet down their relaxed hair with the moisturizer, the moisturizer were never meant to be used in that way. If your hair is 100% relaxed then you are only to use a pea size and only when needed. However, if your hair is more dense then you might be able to use little bit more, but never ever use it to wet down your hair. I have been using moisturizer on my hair and it is doing very well. Moisturizer are only to be used when needed. If your hair do not need it at a particular time then do not use it. Please there no need to apply it everyday. I think moisturizers are good for any hair type I just think people need to learn the correct way to use them.

Sky Not Fancy: I've just started my relaxed hair journey and happy to learn great tips. Definitely trying this, I'm a minimalist so if I can do more for my hair with less, sign me up! . PS - Just found your channel (YouTube recommended it) and I love it!

LOVESICKSIMSXO: I can definitely agree with everything you just said! Although the LCO (I have low porosity hair) method worked when I was natural my hair flourished, but not when I’m currently relaxed. My hair was so healthy & bouncy at first & then a few months later it was dry, brittle, and shedded broken hairs would always be all over the place when I would comb it, I didn’t understand because I always kept it moisturized. So one day I just decided to just wing it lol and stopped using leave-in conditioners. My current routine: wash & deep condition every 2 weeks and use a hair serum every other day when needed. My hair is finally back like it was before thank goodness!!! So you are most definitely making sense here. I’m going to start using protein treatments after washing out my relaxers before the neutralizing shampoo because that seems pretty smart too. Glad I’m not the only one now lol, it’s crazy how I was fed up and intuitively knew what to do for my hair health.

Erin Lewis: Thanks for the video! I just relaxed my hair after about 10 years of being natural. I've been trying to relearn how to take care of my relaxed hair and started moisturizing and sealing my hair before bed...my hair feels awful. Apparently I've been using too much product. Practice makes perfect.

Melissa A: I fully agree with this. I'm learning about my relaxed hair after having it natural for 4 years. My hair was going well until I started moisturizing it. Moisturized it about 1 hour ago and it just feels damp and dry. EDIT: So right after watching this video I washed my hair (ran out of deep conditioner so unfortunately was unable to do that). I used IC hair serum blow dried on medium heat and flat ironed. Minimal shedding after that. Theres more i need to do health wise to curb more shedding but ... You've saved my hair BIG Thanks.

Alexandra S: I used to moisturize and seal my hair every day (with something else, not that ors stuff, I don't like the scent), then I started doing it every other and now I pretty much don't do it and I think my hair is healthier. I completely agree with you, I think youtubers have a good idea by telling others to moisturize and seal but I think its too much for relaxed hair

L F: It is about finding the right moisturizer that works for you. That moisturizer breaks my hair as well and I feel it is because of the ingredients which includes petrolatum which blocks moisture and makes the hair feel brittle and dry. I was on a roller coaster trying to find moisturizers that will not break my hair and I finally stumbled upon Asiam - the liquid and the cream, and they have been amazing (for my hair). Moisture, strength and health. I use hair polisher as well but to use everyday without moisturizing results in dry hair for me. What I have come to learn is that our hair is different and will respond differently to different products and treatments. I have very fine hair, but strange enough texlaxing or underprocessing breaks my hair like crazy. I have to use Super strength box relaxers to adequately straighten my hair for it to thrive. I however compensate by relaxing every four to six months so it doesnt look lifeless. But.. the asiam moisturizers (the asiam so much moisture and the double butter cream) have been game changers for my hair. I no longer have to be a product junkie; I finally found what works. I dont use the liquid everyday, only as needed but it works perfectly during my stretches. The liquid is not like water, it has a somewhat thicker consistency; the same moisturizer hairlicious uses. The cream I use every other day especially after relaxers. I think ingredients play a significant role in the way some products work. Mineral oil and petrolatum based leave in moisturizers break my hair so I avoid them altogether. These ingredients tend to prevent the hair from absorbing adequate moisture and results in product buildup and dryness. We just have to find what works for us on our hair care journey and stick with it.

sweetsharie66: I think a lot depends on your hair porosity. I’ve noticed that most of the relaxed Youtubers who promote M&S have high porosity hair (so they need more moisture) and they primarily wear low manipulation hairstyles instead of straight hair. Therefore they don’t mind if their hair is weighed down a bit.

Just Denise: My hairdresser told me to stop doing it too. She also said use a glosser. I was trying to take care of my relaxed hair like I did my natural hair. That was bad for my hair. Great information

emmanuella mensah: I use a liquid leave in spray instead of cream based moisturizers cos I have control on the amount of products I use . Then I seal it with serum. If I have too much new growth , I use leave in spray plus lighter leave in cream and top it up with castor oil on my new growth and serum on my relaxed hair . Hope this helps someone ❤️

Donna McKinson: This advice applies to my natural hair. I have finally realised it does not like water inbetween washes. If i do moisturise i use very little. I also went back to grease and serums - no more breakage!

M Riley: Thanks for this insightful video. I'm glad I already had a glosser oil in the back of my cupboard somewhere. Otherwise I'd be off to the shops tomorrow! Also thanks for reminding us to do a treatment on our hair right after we wash out the relaxer. Don't go directly to the neutralizing shampoo guys! Do the treatment 1st (I use the Affirm 5-in-1 Reconstructor).

Louelle Julien: Hmm... I honestly feel you are correct based on my experience. I've noticed when using CHI serum only that I have no breakage, but when using a liquid moisturiser, then seal that i see some breakage/hair in the sink. Also, i saw another video that stated to only use the CHI serum‍♀️... So, you onto something here... I believe leave-ins, moisturisers and such are to be used probably after washing and conditioning the hair, but before you allow your hair to dry... From then on you only need a serum...

Kalisha J: I got tired of my hair being weighed down so I stopped years ago. If my hair needs to be moisturized I'll use lightweight products like CHI total protect and Paul Mitchell skinny serum but it's not a routine. Great video!!

Natalie Marie: That moisturizer is actually my holy grail lol it’s so crazy how everyone’s hair experience is so unique but I also don’t use enough to wet it I use a small amount

Cee_Jay Live: This explains what I'm going through. I'm getting a serum immediately

Teleah: I actually don't moisturize and seal. If I do anything I'll add a little oil to my ends. Moisturizing products always felt like I was wetting my hair. So I agree with this post! :-) M&S is not for everyone.

Beverly Simple: I just realized this like 2 weeks ago. I got so sick of damp, tangled, dry hair. I will buy popular moisturizers and moisturize and seal religiously, but my hair was still dry and breaking. Now, I just apply baby oil every other day and my hair feels great for the first time since I first went relaxed.

Sakeenia Noid: This is something to try. I didn’t care for the moisturizing and sealing, but thought it was necessary for my hair to thrive. I’ve been experiencing some shedding (more than Norma I’m I think). I’ll see. Thanks for the video.

Shirlz: Thanks for sharing - I've never heard this before but it makes sense to me...I've literally washed my hair yesterday so will practice the use of a polish/serum when needed instead How about using moisturiser on your new growth only and sealing with an oil? New growth will need love too no?

Lolo Future: I wonder if this rule is really for relaxed heads who use heat. Of course if you’re flat ironing or blow drying hair straighter on wash day you wouldn’t use a water based moisturizer. But if you air dry and plan to cowash more often I feel like it might be ok

Nette: Ive always been an hair lotion and oils here and there person but still struggled with dryness. I recently tried Tec Italy Heal Dimension spray and its great for moisture.

LadyCourageous: Using hair serum was a big game-changer for me. Thanks for the tips!

Mickey XOXO: My hair absolutely HATES oil!!! Ugh. I can only use it as a rinse out. I haven't "sealed" my hair in 2 years now

Charm Orac: I have to agree with you because I also noticed that after moisturizing and sealing my hair, overtime it has become dry and brittle so I will definitely be using glossing polish to see if I have better results. Great vid!

MsDeeJay: I have to agree that it depends on what products a person is using. I am currently natural and I both had super long hair with my relaxed hair. Now I’m natural for 5 years I still have super long hair. I really believe it depends on the products. Yes I did moisturizer my hair when I had a relaxer, but it moisturizer it once a week. So perhaps people need to understand what really works for their hair..

Kathy M.: Omg, i had the same experience with moisturizing and sealing. Thanks for the helpful info.

darcey derosa: People are using the wrong products to moisturize and seal.Oils do not moisturize, they coat the hair. The moisturizer is only good for roller sets that you sit under the blow dryer with. Glosser polish is great for wrapping, and heat protection. The best moisturizer is water and hair grease seals it in. Only a dab for each section.

Theresa Vinson: Nope! Not going to stop moisturizing & sealing, only do it 3x week but it works for me—everybody is different!

God’s Virtuous Women: Wow! Thank you so much! My hair was growing and flourishing it was off my shoulders but I have been following YouTube videos about moisturizing and sealing and my ends keep breaking and my hair was shedding soooooo bad . Everytime my hair grows I have to trim because it was just too much on my hair and I didn’t understand what I was doing wrong. My mom told me today I can not do that with relaxed hair and fine relaxed hair at that. just wash every week and deep condition. I have a serum here at home that I only used on my wet and wavy wig. I will start to moisturize with that and make sure I am washing every week as well as protein treatments once a month. Thanks for the tips , can’t wait to maintain the hair growth now.❤️❤️❤️❤️

She: The moisturizer you had, has protein in it dear, protein is only needed every 6 weeks. Daily moisturizer should not have any protein. You must read ingredients.

downbydriver: Hmm I thought I was the only one.... I don't like the heaviness of moisturizing and sealing either. I use a Rusk serum and it give moisture and shine minus the heaviness. When I cannot get Rusk I use Paul Mitchell. Great video!

SUNSHINE SANDY: You might have a point. My sister don't moisturize and seal her hair and she hardly has hair breakage. And I have all the fancy hair treatment and have breakage. I will give it a try. My only concern is that is recently put highlights on my hair, does that apply to relax hair with highlights.

Ms. Powell: Love your videos. At present, I use the creme of nature argon oil treatment as my daily moisturizer. Do you think I should replace it with a glossing polish?

Jael Jordan: I do M&S at times, but I mostly use serum. I thought it was just me that heard my hair snapping when I moisturised and sealed. I guess I was using too much.

Riana Anaïs: I think this is great information! Your hair is SUPER SLEEK ❤❤! M&S does work great for me but I never "wet" my hair! Just a few drops on relaxed hair. On my daughter who is natural, I'll wet her hair down! But I don't wear my hair as sleek as yours! But I still found this video valuable because I think I will do this on the days i don't M&S!

MrsFoo: Good info. Moisture should come from the shampoo and deep condition process. Coconut oil prepoo will help with hygral fatigue.

deborah thompson: I agree, excellent advice. Wetting and moisture does make your hair brittle and dry.

Tami B: Thank you, I will definitely be giving this a try. :)

Graycee Calloway: Thank you so much!!! I’ve always had my doubts about moisturizer on my relaxed hair…

Carol Kamboyi: I think its about knowing what your works for your hair. I moisturise and seal my hair using a leave in cream conditioner and seal with hair grease. I have returned alot of length.

Kris Latoya: Now you've got me questioning. I've bought the Creme of Nature oil moisturiser and it is so very thick, I'm not a fan. I tried to use the tiniest of amounts. I do have an issue with dryness in the middle of my head so I've been trying to figure out what to do.

Brickcityfinest973: Just came across your page and the title caught my attn. I'm glad I watched this because I thought I was tripping how my hair would snap when moisturizing and sealing but if I just used a leave in conditioning spray on wash day and use my oil and serums my hair had less breakage and was soft and shiny. This all makes so much sense thanks new subbie!!!

Uniquely ME: I followed your advice and got the polisher and noticed a different. I will definitely keep using it from now on (why didn't l use it before ) l will use hair lotions and creams when l protective style but that's it. Thanks for sharing what you learned it has definitely helped me A LOT!!

mizz.chief.: Is it okay to use Chi Silk instead of the IC or Proclaim gloss/polish?

gemruby41: I stopped moisturizing and sealing a long time ago. I don't own any moisturizers. I just apply a little serum on my hair before wrapping it at night.

Bernadette Hof: Omg, it works on my hair, u have saved my hair, i am sooo happy

Bettina Orevil: My ends keep breaking when I wet it when I moisturize & seal. Yes it’s gets heavy so now I am going to try to do a serum or polish as a sealer

My secret diary: God bless you and your family, you don't know how much you are helping with this video

Kiwi: She is right I use moisturizer on my daughter's hair they are natural it works for them, I stop using moisturizer on my relax hair I use the old school hair grease and pink moisturizer.

Maria Ofelia Hernandez: Everything in excess is bad, at the beggining of my hair journey my hair was very thirsty and damaged, needed to moisturize every other day, never had issues, but presently it is healthy so I only need it middle of the wash cycle...

Ms.Nikoll Benford: Good stuff! I don't believe moisturizing & sealing is necessary for relaxed hair. I use light oils or a serum.

Mrs. Dee: Do you think cold curling your hair is a good way to protect your ends?

Rochelle Sutherland: I think you’re on to something, sometimes I don’t like using cream moisturizers on my hair when it’s dry because it’s makes my hair wet and I just don’t like the feel of it. I’m trying to see if I can find like moisturizing serums or like a hair butter like mango butter. I’ll probably use the moisturizers that I have now as a leave in on wet hair.

Sarah 💫: What should I use to moisturise my dry ends texturised hair

Agnes: Like how you keep it real subscribed

Twinkle Star: What leave in conditioner do you use? Thanks

Ms.Nikoll Benford: Hi Sammi, Can you clarify something. If you are relaxed that means high/low porosity no longer applys?

Cherryl Anyanzwa: Do you wet your hair before using the serum and polish? Or do you just apply it on a dry scalp?

Mercedes Christopher: Nobody knows what works for their hair but the individual. Maybe some use too much others not enough. Everyone’s hair is different

SUNSHINE SANDY: Can I do the same thing for colour treated relax hair.

B TAC: I have to agree.. i dont really M&S as much any more.. i use polish most times and my hair is fine.. i pre poo with african pride, DC weekly, use my spray leave in, air dry a bit add a light hairdress, wrap then use polish and thats it for the week ( i may add a touch of hair dress to my ends depending) till next wash day... i do protein treatments once per relax cycle because my leave in keratin based and thats my routine lol M&S left my hair weighed down and greasy

Joan Ocalagan: This video is all ! Thanks for sharing

Kelly Kelly: What products do you use on your scalp and how often do you use it

Tracey Lennon: Is your hair fine? My hair is..and my hair goes through the same thing yours is..feeling weighed down!

Dan Gensing: After relaxer u wash out the relaxer do a protein treatment then deep condition and then wash your hair with the neutralizing shampoo???

Mayra Torres: Thanks for sharing, great video.

Gladys Florero: Thank you for your info..Can I ask what did you use for your scalp?

Thelma Thomas: Pink oil moisturizer is the absolute best its the only thing that actually work's for me along with afrosheen

Modest Inspiration: I am seeing more and more videos like these, but you can never argue with science

Cusp_Of_Magic: At first I thought this title sounded crazy and just had to watch, but this is an interesting perspective. I have thicker relaxed hair and often m&s, do my protein treatments, etc...but still notice shedding when I comb and also AS I'm m&sing!!! So you may be on to something. I guess it's just whatever works for your hair at the end of the day ‍♀.

darcey derosa: People are using the wrong product to moisturize and seal. Pink oil is great for buns and ponytails. It's not for strait styles. Same with all so called moisturizers.

Domingo88: I have my fair share of bad experiences with moisturizers..i just could not find any that worked for me. And i found that too with using a serum on the hair and not an oil. I need a find a better serum though. The one i am using, the effects dont seem to last all day

goBpink: That serum has silicones in it so I’m not following how it’s ok, based on your initial statement of silicones weight hair down. I think anything in excess can be problematic, I just don’t follow the logic here.
