Hey guys, it's Lily welcome back to my channel. So today I'm gon na be talking to you about how I thickened my relaxed hair. There were sure there were about three things that I did like that I know contributed to my thick hair and of course there are other things out there that you can do, but I'm just gon na talk about the three that worked for me personally. Okay, so just diving right into it since y'all be like you talk too much girl. The number one thing I did to thicken my relaxed hair was tech saxing it and I have an entire video on what is tax taxing, but for those of you who've never seen that video never heard of tech stocks me. I have a little chart here that I drew out kind of mimicking the chart. I grew a Jew in my video but yeah. I started taxing my hair in 2015. I transitioned for a transitioned for two years, so yeah you guys were like my subscribers, like you saw last year, where I cut off all my relaxed and smush straight relaxed fins, and I was fully talked back. So I just transitioned for two years, and that is like the number one thing that contributed to the thickness of my relaxed hair. I'M currently two weeks post and just at this braid out so yeah, and I love how full it is, and everything like that. So let me show you what I mean by tech slack thing: if you've never heard of that term or if you're just unclear, I have a little visual and a message. Okay, so this is my. I don't want to cover my mouth. I don't know if you guys can hear me, so let me move over this is my natural texture. Okay, I used to relax my hair to the point that it was bone straight and what the relaxer do is once I put the relaxer on it would just loosen this curve select right here and then we loosen it some more and then it would loosen it. So much that it becomes straight so now I'm neither natural or bone straight I'm somewhere in between. So I still have some texture in my hair and that allows it to be a bit thicker than like what it would be if it was bone straight okay. So that's kind of what tax taxing is. This is completely repetitive. If we saw that video again, I do apologize but yeah that's what contributed to my hair being as thick as it is and yeah that's. That kind of brings me to my next point. Ight xx my hair every six months, so I stretch my relaxers that I used to stretch my relaxers before I even begin taxing and I noticed a difference. I know someone asked me how long was my very very first stretch when I began my hair journey. It was 13 weeks and I used to relax my hair II eight weeks, yeah you're. I was like crazy, like obviously in eight weeks. It'S like pushing it. You know, but yes, my very first stretch was 13 weeks and then I literally hit 24 that next stretch. I went beyond 24 and I started to experience breakage, so you can, if you stretch too long depending on your hair type, it can be more damaging than it is beneficial. So I remember stretching to 30 weeks and it was just not healthy. My hair was breaking off because of that line of demarcation, so be very, very careful when you stretch you kind of have to learn your limits and learn what your hair can handle, but for me, 24 weeks is at 24 weeks. I'M like okay. I can't handle this anymore, like I'm, let's, let's tech slacks like so stretching my relaxers, definitely made a difference in the overall health of my hair and the overall thickness of my hair. This video is short and sweet. Yes, because I'm on the last point yeah. Yes, I'm not talking forever, but my I think I did see thicken my relaxed hair. It was deep conditioning more. I never really deep conditioned even in the beginning of my hair journey. I just knew that I should stretch my relaxes, but I wasn't really deep conditioning like that. I didn't understand the benefits of deep conditioning. I was just co-wash. I limited the amount of shampoo I put on my hair because I'm just like, oh, I don't need shampoo. Sometimes I can just do a co-wash and then I would just keep going until I'm relaxed my hair, but I would never really deep conditioning and deep conditioning is so important. Deep conditioning has so many benefits moisturizing, it repairs your hair. So when you're styling your hair, however, you do it, you do it boom. Deep conditioning is just gon na fix it back up again, it's gon na make it like that. How lame is your girl right now, but yeah, deep conditioning, just it really repairs the hair and infuses it with moisture in the fuses? It were protein depending on what deep conditioner you use so yeah. It'S gon na make your hair extra healthy extra, thick shiny. All of that, like you're gon na, be like it's gon na hook, you up deep conditioners, have your back okay, so yeah! Those are the three things I did to thicken my relaxed hair. If you guys have like any questions on any of those points, I made just comment below like seriously I'm here for you, um I've been on my hair journey first, my daughter is 7. I'Ve been on my hair journey for eight years. Okay and I just kind of know a thing or two: if you have any questions just absolutely, let me know any questions on stretching what deep conditioners I use. I have a video for that, but I don't mind answering your question. If you haven't seen the video what relaxers I use, I got you so definitely comment below uh yeah. Just think! That'S it like right. That'S it! I don't know you. Let me know what you we want to know: okay, hey just a lecher Garlin, a comment section or my Instagram Lilian hearts or lilies relaxed hair.
