Relaxed Hair Winter Washday Routine For Maximum Moisture |Ft Girl Boss Sa

Hi babe welcome back to my channel. Today we are doing a winter wash day routine. Now this routine is quite important to me, because we know that winter is very notorious for being cold and drying out your hair, and one thing about dry hair is that it will break so i'm starting off this wash day and i'm doing it in between my Protective style, hence i am taking out my braids as you can see my braids. Actually, my hair isn't that dry, i made sure to moisturize my hair before putting up in the braid, but anyway i don't want to undo all of that with my wash day. Hence my careful selection of today's product and now i'm just going to be giving my hair a gentle detangle, and i just want to make sure that there are no knots when i step into the shower and now we are ready to get into the shower now. So this is the girl, boss, mango and marula moisturizing co-wash, and one of my favorite things about it is that it allows me to give my hair a gentle cleanse that removes all my buildup and dirt without drying. My hair. This formula has aloe vera juice, which also moisturizes my hair in the washing process. I applied the co-wash the first time and lathered it into my hair and then rinsed it off, and this is now me applying the co-wash to my hair for the second time. This time you will see a little bit of leather, but keep in mind that this is a co-wash and not necessarily a shampoo, so it doesn't lather up as much as a shampoo, and you can't really compare those two things. The bonus of using a co-wash, on the other hand, is that you still get the benefits of removing buildup and dirt, but, unlike a shampoo, it does not dry your hair out after rinsing out the co-wash. I'M just going to go in with a t-shirt and to just squeeze out the excess water so that my hair is not dripping wet and then i'm going to go in with the girl, boss, hemp and cocoa strengthening hair mask this hair mask has moisturizing ingredients as Well, as hydrolyzed keratin, which serves to strengthen my hair, so i'm going to make sure that i apply this product from the roots of my hair. All the way through to my tips. Now one bonus thing that i really love about this product and why i ensure to apply it to my new growth is that it i've found that it also helps to soften my new growth and make it more manageable. So i am just applying it all over. My hair, focusing on my new growth and just throughout every single section of the hair, as you can see. You can also use a shower cap if you have, i just didn't, have any on hand on this particular day and i'm just going to use my hooded dryer. You guys know how much i love it and i will be sitting here for a good 30 minutes, which is just how much time i need to catch my breath. So now i'll just be giving myself a quick rinse and just rinsing out the deep conditioner. For my hair and at this point i was enjoying how now for this wash day, i chose to actually air dry, my hair. So this is me taking off my t-shirt, and this was my hair about 20 minutes afterwards. So now, at this point i am just going to section off my hair and just start a light detangle, as you guys can see, i'm using a wide tooth comb for this part, and this part is bit up. So it might look like i'm being rough, but i promise you - i am actually being quite gentle with my hair and for the next step i'll be going in with the girl, boss, hemp and cocoa strengthening oil lotion. Now this oil lotion has aloe vera juice, as well as coconut oil, hemp seed, oil and castor oil, which helps to kind of seal in the moisture that we've worked so hard to infuse. But because it's in a lotion type of formula it doesn't weigh my hair down too much so here, as you guys can see, i am actually flattening the front part of my head because i will be using a scarf method where i'll be tying up. I then take a hard bristle brush to smoothen out my ends so that they dry out quite straight, then i'll be smoothing it with my hands as well, and this is me the next day.
