Couples Curly Hair Routine

Good morning welcome back to our channel uh. We thought it would be fun to show you our curly hair, routine saga was born with a head of curly hair. Then it fell off. It fell off and now this hair it was dark and curly. Well, you're, tired and now it's blonde and curly, so i'm gon na take this frizz and do something with it. So i'm just taking some water. That'S it! That'S all superman curl! So i'm pretty sure her hair is going to get tight curls the longer it gets. But for now it gets a little straightened out because when she sleeps it just flattens out so uh, that's just it! That'S all! We just do a little swoopy, swoops right and then we'll do an after of saga, but that's taught us curly, hair routine. Now my hair, my hair, has grown so much with my pregnancy and now postpartum i didn't have hair loss. I had hair growth right. I had lots of hair growth, so it's so thick and long that i don't even want to deal with it most of the time, but, as you can see, she needs a wash. The curls are stretched out. We need to do something right and daddy has to do something. We have a family of curly hairs, so different, curl textures. Let'S look at papa's curly hair right about one and a half. Year ago i cut all my hair off and i'm back on the phase of growing back my hair and the problem with that. Is that i'm in that middle of face now, where it's not short and it's long. But i can't do anything. But it's not long enough. It'S not long enough to do anything about it or do anything with it. It'S just basically an obstacle, but it's a rite of passage. As i always say, it's like a bit of a bird nest, so i'm gon na wash my hair and i'm gon na do my best to pop those curls and keep it out of my face. Now shall we, when it comes to shampooing, i like to focus on my scalp and my scalp only i don't need to do anything else with the ends of my hair, because when i wash it, the shampoo does make its way down my hair, shaft and cleaning. All of my hair without drying it, you know what i mean, because my scalp is generally oily. Now, for conditioner, i do what i always do, which is starting at the ends of my hair, detangling there and working my way up. I do this because i have a lot of shedding and i want to minimize the shedding and while i condition my hair, i usually leave it on for a few minutes. While i start to washing the rest of my body and that just gives it some time to really work its magic and leave my hair silky smooth when i'm rinsing okay, the curls are wet, that's our curly, hair, routine or part of it. Now it's just the drying part yeah. I we never use. I never use a dryer. Do you? No? I used to i used to air. Oh no. I used to use a diffuser now what as the curl expert, you are why i don't have time. I don't have time to have my hair flipped over and dry for like an hour, so we're just going to go outside and air dry. Let'S go air dry, hey, so that's our curly hair routine. As you can see, i mean you know day. One is always for me at least um, not the best yeah. I think like day. Two three is the best for me. Oh really, yeah and right now see. This is what i love about this. This is like, like, oh right, guys, guys don't talk about this terms that i've never heard of, like you know my especially for me, like my first day's, not the best, it usually comes on two years. When is your best haircut? I don't know. I actually think it is the next day too, when i think about it: okay, like uh yeah, yeah yeah, because then my curls get thicker and they're they like moving yeah, it's not so like wet poodle yeah, because now it's like floating, like one poodle like here And then here it's big yeah no, but i think that it was fun for me because i normally don't put that much of like thought into my hair routine. But i'm noticing that it's a it's actually a whole world of like taking care of your hair. So beautiful and i couldn't see it - i couldn't understand, straightening your hair. I would straighten it, i would cut it. I would just like put a hat on like i'm, not talking just a hat like i covered it after a shower for like an hour, so that and then i took it off and then the hair you have to stretch my hair. It'S not it's only like recently where i've started to embrace the like the essence of my hair, which is just letting it be. When i met you yeah, i think you were embracing your hair yeah, because your hair was out yeah. That'S why i met you, probably because i was at a better place in my life, and i allowed this hair, because the hair is such a big statement and i remember like i would used to shave it when i grew up too, and my dad would tell Me who he lost all his hair, he was like. Why? Wouldn'T you you will have, you will have time to be bald? You will have time to have no hair, just embrace it while you can yeah. So i think i unconsciously like took that um yeah advice, and then you also cut off your hair yeah. I did recently because i was so fed up with it and then now you want it back yeah. The grass is always greener, um my hair journey, as many of you know on my other main channel, i've had short hair for so long. In fact, this hair length is the longest it's been in uh in over 10 years. When i started youtube, my hair was even shorter than this. This is very long, yeah um and i did the short hair. That'S why, when you cut it, i'm like i get it i completely get it you just want to reinvent and hair is like a great way to take on a new persona and express yourself so now that it's long i'm just like, i wonder how long i Can get her yeah, so i mean i'm enjoying the the look. I don't enjoy the um maintenance. No, so it must be so much work even when we were washing our hair for you. It took like, like so much longer, yeah, and i think i have long hair but comparison yeah. This is just like a it's a nest. What i like about your hair, that i i envy some part of your hair - is that your hair is so even it's like it curls the way all the way around mine is like here, it's loose on the front and then super curly in the back. I see, and i kind of wanted to like i'll, be the same: huh either be more curly up here or less curly back here. So how do you feel about your curls now? Oh, i feel like this is the more the most confident i've ever been with my hair. Oh yeah yeah like i've again like. I think i have very unique hair and i didn't understand when people were complimenting me when i was growing up, but today i realized it's a big part of who i am of like philosophically, like spiritually and all these things it's like this represents my whole personality Of who i am, i just enjoy change and i haven't had long hair for a very long time, so i'm enjoying this new chapter.
