90S Inspired Hairstyles For Short Hair// Fast And Easy

Hello, my beautiful subscribers and welcome back if you're new here welcome. My name is olivia and i film all kinds of videos from lifestyle, fashion and beauty. So you guys guessed it we're doing another hair. Look on my channel. They seem to be my favorite thing to create, for you guys at the moment, um we're gon na be doing a look inspired from the 90s. Well, actually, five looks, which is gon na, be super fun and they're. All gon na be simple and easy, and i'm gon na walk you guys through how to achieve each and every single. One of these looks i'm gon na insert pictures right now of the looks on myself. Just so you guys can have a glimpse of what everything is going to look like throughout this video, so you're not caught off guard or surprised um. You can find all these looks and inspiration on pinterest and tiktok and instagram, especially they're, pretty much all over social media. So without further ado, i think that's enough of me talking, let's jump right into these looks. The first look is going to be a twisted back. Look it's kind of like a half up, half down style and this one was always rocked by like lizzie mcguire. I know i'm throwing it way back, but i just want to show you guys like a quick example. So you're going to start with your hair powder down the middle and, if i'm always looking to the sides, because my mirrors are to the sides of me and um, that's how i need to see to create this look. So if my eyes are just not focused on the camera, that's why. But i already have a pretty sharp middle part as you can see, but if you guys want to see how i do that, i just take a sharp toothpick comb and i just split the hair like so and now you have a sharp part. So now that you made your middle part, you're gon na start on either side of your head, i'm gon na start on the right side of my head and i'm gon na take another like inch over and make another straight part all the way back. Just like that so now that i have this hair, i'm gon na pull back this hair and just clip it away for now, because we don't want it in our face. Okay, so i'm gon na turn, so you guys can see a little bit better, but i'm gon na let the hair down and i'm just gon na start by picking up from the front and twisting all the way back all right. So now that you have it all, twisted you're gon na grab a little clip. I got these cute little butterfly flowery clips from walgreens um they're super nice and cute, and i thought they'd be perfect, for these 90s looks so i'm going to open it up and secure it in place. So you're gon na let the hair down and create another line, clip the hair away and start twisting again. Okay, so that's your one side done and now we're going to continue on the other side and i'll just fast forward. So you guys can see me doing this part all right here. You guys have it. This is look number one. It was super easy and simple to create. I feel like i'm five again, it's like a blast from the past. This hair look um, i'm definitely rocking. Like the disney channel vibes, but honestly it's so cute and i would wear this out and it just screams 90s to me so now i'm going to insert a little montage of me with this look. Okay, so our next look is also going to be really simple. You'Re, just gon na need two little elastics like this um or you can use little rubber band ones, but these are just the ones i have handy. So i grab these um you're gon na wan na make sure your hair is part down the middle. Once again. Mine already is so that's easy, um you're gon na be taking out little pieces from the front, so i like to just section them off a little bit beforehand, all right. So now you have those somewhat out of the way you're just going to be taking a brush and grab a little section from the front to make a pigtail just like that. I'M gon na take my brush to smooth it. I'M gon na then go with my elastic and secure it all, and just like that, you have a pigtail, so we're going to do it on the other side, all right so now that you have them both pulled back. I like to tug on them just to bring them forward a little bit and just to give yourself a little bit more volume and this one's like a very britney spears, inspired really easy to achieve, and it literally took me under a minute to do so. Insert the montage now all right moving on to the next look, it's also a really easy one. It'S more of a sleek middle part. Look so you're, just gon na need some clips for this. I was gon na say claw clips, but you're gon na need some normal clips for this. Any that you have. I even have these i might throw in my hair um or you can just use bobby pins. If you really want to, you can get like colorful ones, so i'm going to start off by sectioning off the hair and i'm going to go right down to the ear, and i got a nice sharp part like that. So i'm gon na take this hair and clip it back and now taking this hair, i'm gon na tuck it behind my ear. You can spray it smooth it out and now grabbing your clips of choice, clip it so now that you have it all clipped back. Let this hair go and you're going to let it fall in front of those clips just like that. So now we're going to do this on the other side, all right now, it's done on both sides of my hair um. If you want to add a little volume in the back, you can take these pieces of hair and just tease them slightly. So this look is very sleek and it's honestly so cute, because the clips just like subtly pop through - and i really like that, um like i said i added a little bit of volume, but you don't always have to do that. But now here comes the montage. We'Re on our fourth look now - and this is the most iconic of them all. It'S the claw clip i've done the claw clip so many times on my channel now i have two videos posted about it. So this time, i'm just gon na do like more of a messy look, how you just like model off duty, chic! Look! So i'm gon na go in with my gold claw clip right here and i'm just gon na pull back my hair and let all the pieces fall out and basically do the messiest claw clip. I can so i'm gon na pull the hair back twist and just clip i'm gon na pull. So i pulled everything made it super messy. I'M gon na spray pull some more pieces out and this one's, like so iconic the messier, the better and honestly just play around with it. Until you get there um i'm gon na cue, the montage. It was literally so easy to do so. All right, you guys, are still here with me, our fifth iconic 90s. Look so this one is a middle part, look again so make sure you have a nice sharp middle part, and i'm going to take my comb and section off the front piece right here. Just like that, i made a pretty sharp line again and then taking a clip. You know the deal clip back the rest of the hair and then i'm going to pull really tight towards the end. Just so it stays, and i don't have a tiny elastic with me, but if you do, you can just tie it off with an elastic. But if you don't, if you just tightly wrap it it'll stay just like that, and now i'm going to go in and pancake everything. So now that i pancaked it and left the hair down and it just flows perfectly into your front piece. So now i'm going to go repeat this on the other side: okay, so the two braids are done and just like, we did with that other sleek middle part. Look, you can take your brush and start teasing the back just to give it a little bit more volume, so i'm gon na go in and do that right now. So my hair is like super clean right now. So if it doesn't look like, i volumized it that much it's, because it's not really holding these looks, are so much better on like second day hair, but i'm gon na cue, the montage for this cute middle part, braided, look very like grungy, 90s, totally feeling it And i would rock this like every day.
