Finally! My new favorite Natural Hairstyle! This has been my go to style since I cut my Natural Hair. I achieved this hairstyle using the twist & curl method with mini flex rods. This is a heat free style and the size of the rods makes them comfy to sleep on. I think this look is timeless and I'll be sporting it for a long time! Hope you love it as much as I do!

Hey guys, this is the highly requested tutorial for the hairstyle I've been wearing. Since I cut my hair, I've done it quite a few times and it looks a little different each time. I do it, but I feel like this is such a classic timeless. Look that you can wear at any age and for so many different occasions that I feel like I'll be wearing this for a while, and I'm going to show you how take it from looking like this to looking like this in just a matter of a few Minutes so you're going to start off with a defined twist out, and I just posted a defined twist out tutorial. The this style was actually done from that twist out from that video so check out that video I'll have a link at the end and you're going to take some mini flexi rods and you're just going to roll them under and then you're going to bend the Ends upwards, so you're going to roll under and then you're going to bend them up and just kind of like turn them until I got all them like little cinnamon rolls, so I just bend the flexi rods and they're so comfortable to sleep in this is so Easy I'll twist, all of my hair I have like 60 twists and then I just roll and it's so quick to dry. I go to sleep and then the next day, when it's not for me to take them out they're dry. But if you do larger twists, it's not going to dry as quick and the take down is super easy as well just unravel the flexi rod and your hair is going to be super springy and curly, and I use the can to twist and like jail for The style because these are the twists again from that twist out video and I unravel the twists carefully at the end, and I take each twist apart - some of them are just automatically going to come apart, like the one I'm about to show you, but I do Do it carefully, so did I make sure my hair isn't frizzy, because i do not use heat? I haven't used heat since I cut my hair and I love the way the style has turned out each time, but the art of this style is the pick. Some of you may actually want to wear it like this, without picking it out, but to get the shape that I have in all of the pictures. I barely pick it out in the back, but I pick it out quite a bit at the top to get that top-heavy look and the more you pick it out. Of course the fluffier is going to be so some of you may want to actually stop here. I just put a pomade on my edges, kind of slick it down and there's one look, but if you want bigger hair because you know I love big hair, you can just continue to separate the twists and then pick it out some more. So basically, I just separate and pick out some more and that's going to give you a different look and you'll also get a different look. If you separate the twists before, you pick them out and then pick it out, so you can just I've had so many different looks with this style. I'Ve done bigger twists and the curls were kind of like clumpy ER, and it just took a little longer to dry. Jessica Dickey: I love the 30s & 40s this is too cute! I recently did a big chop from below bra strap length to a tapered cut. My reason? I have very thick hair, and have let it grow for 3 years...I just got sick of having long hair. So I am back to short hair without a relaxer. I am in love with the cut. I used to get relaxers, nothing wrong with it I just knew what to do to keep it healthy but there comes a point in a woman's life that she needs a change...better yet to reach back to her roots. My grandmother has long natural hair down her back, my mother has had her twa since I was in diapers. My family embraces their relaxed/natural curls so I appreciate that growing up. This last bit stems from the video you made "Why I cut My Hair". I am sad that children feel their hair isn't pretty as to the reason they get relaxers. Hair no matter the curl pattern/length/color is beautiful! Those kids that pick on other kids because of hair/any reason is being raised by an ignorant individual (I say that because you take to school what you learn at home. If you learn that only straight hair is pretty then you will go to school seeing a kid with braids/curls and tell them their hair is ugly). I wish our girls and boys would love themselves...I wish more parents would teach self love...that in itself would save us. Keep on teaching the babies what others don't show. I've always embraced who I am because of my family, I thank them and I pass the knowledge I've gained to the children I tutor.

My Natural Sistas: Requested Night Time Routine Info: Honestly…. I just use satin bonnets, three to be exact. I can get pretty lazy throughout the week (I teach 8-9 year olds). Don't pick/fluff/separate as much on the first few days if you want it to last longer. It will gradually get fuller if you manipulate a little each day.
