Both Spoolies Roller Sizes On A Full Head | Perfect Heatless Curls On Natural Hair

Hi everyone. I partnered with spoolies to bring you this video on how to use their hair curlers to get perfect, heatless curls. We all know that these have been my favorite rollers since I purchased them two years ago, but I never did a comparison video. I'm doing a wet set and a roller set on dry, stretched hair that I stretched using African Hair Threading.

Hi everyone today, I'm going to show you how to achieve the perfect curls on your type for natural hair, whether you're for a or for C. This video is definitely for you and I will be using both sizes of my squeezed hair curlers. These are the Jumbo blue, and these are the original playful pink rollers. As you can see, the original pink ones are smaller than the jumbo blue one, and I'm just going to demonstrate with the blue I'm going to put my finger in the middle and rotate it. So you can see that at the top, where the conical end is, it is ventilated, and the middle right here is where you wrap your hair around the roller. So when you close the top, that's how you secure the roller in place and the ventilated sections allow your hair to air dry or dry under the dryer, depending on what you prefer. So the bottom of the roller says schoolies and Ghoulies calm at the bottom, with a US patent number it is made at the United States. They are hypoallergenic, odorless and non-toxic, so they are very safe to use and let's go ahead and get started before curling. My hair with the blue rollers, I went ahead and stretched my hair using the African hair threading technique, so it would be easier for me to get a nice smooth edge since they are the larger ones, and this is my stretched out hair. I'M just combing it out so that way it's free of tangles and easier to style. I went ahead and clipped my hair up in a few sections, I'm using my mile organics curl cream, as well as the mousse from the same brand. These two products together work wonders regardless of what brand you use and I'm mixing both of them together and putting them on one section of hair. Approximately one inch by one inch just work it through and try not to hit the roots too much, because you want your roots to remain stretched and just really work the product through all the way to the ends after that touch and feel with the back of Your hand to make sure it's not too wet and then put your roller right at the base of your scalp and start wrapping around and that's all you have to do, make sure it's smooth as you wrap once you get to the ends, go ahead and use Some edge control, 5 ial organics. It doesn't matter what brand you use smooth the ends and go ahead and wrap the remainder of your hair around the roller, then close it shut. What you can also do is use those ventilated areas to pull it so that way it really snaps shut, and now I'm just doing the same thing again on the last section of hair and just work your product through try not to touch the roots too much And grab your roller again, folding the flat end place your roller on your scalp and then wrap your hair around the roller. In the direction that you choose. You can always wrap from the ends to the roots, but I prefer starting at the roots and going to the ends, and you can always stick your finger in the middle of the conical section to just secure your roller. Then grab your gel or edge control and place it on the very end right before you wrap those ends so that way, they're, nice and smooth. You really want your hair to be smooth from root to tip and just smooth your hair. Some more then go ahead and close your roller and that's all there is to it so. The next day I have one roller that was ready to come off. That'S definitely a sign of dryness when they are ready to just slip out of your hair, and it looks really pretty and my curls are super yummy. They look like little spaceships and I'm just rotating them to release my curls. I don't actually open them because I just don't feel like it's necessary, but I will show you that you can open them if you want but they're easier to pack when you just rotate them and put them in the bag. So here I am with one that I opened before: removing the curl and the other that I just rotated and my hair looks so pretty like the results are always really great. So I'm using some foil to just help separate my curls and I'm just separating. You can separate in two three four just separate and twirl separate and twirl, and that's all you have to do now. I have this comb that I'm just going to use to give myself some volume at the roots. So that way my hair doesn't look too flat and that's pretty much all there is to it style the way you want to I'll wear mine down. So now I'm moving on to the smaller rollers, I'm spraying my hair with a solution and I'll put the details down below. We are doing a wet set on this one and I'm also using a rake comb to detangle my hair, so just grab a really small section of hair, because these bullies are really small and wrap your hair around just like before and this time you have to Really take care to make sure you really smooth your hair out and add some edge control right on the end. So that way, your ends are just as smooth as everywhere else, on the hair and wrap around and then close your spoolie and that's all. There is to it so the next day this is me removing my sleeves, because they're small they dry fast, thank goodness, and the ventilated area really helps. They also have these glow-in-the-dark sleeves on the website, which I think are super cute. So now I'm just stretching my hair out. So that way I can have a nice cute, curly fro, you guys, let me know which ones you like tight or loose curls and here's a close-up of the tighter curl. I love these rollers for three reasons: one. They are comfortable to sleep in two. I'Ve had the pink ones for almost two years now and they have not broken. Not a single one has broken since buying my rollers and, of course, three. As long as I wrap my hair around smoothly and I have a smooth roller set, I am guaranteed to have perfect curls every single time, so that makes me happy. I hope this video really helps someone out with the whole process of how to wrap their hair with Louise. There are a lot of different techniques to doing this. You can always wrap from the bottom going up as opposed to the top going down, but this is generally how I do it so that way, I cannot build spiral ringlets. Thank you so much for watching as always and bye.

simply d: Both styles look great on you! I like spoolies. They are so soft and durable and don't snag my hair at all. I think they are worth the price. I've used them to wrap the ends of my braids when doing a braid out.

Oh Carolina!: I first saw an ad about these on Instagram and decided to buy the generic version off eBay. Then of course I had to go searching on YouTube on how to install them. Your video out of the 999,999 videos I watched was by far the very best. Thank so much. I've got them in now and am very excited to take them out for Sunday service tomorrow

Nolitha Nkobole: both look amazing, I love the first one more. Thanks for sharing!xx

anjels1st: I love both effects. What do you do to it at night?

Mia Porche: Pretty, I love the blue ones.

DiscoveringNatural: Do you think this will work for people with high densi6low porosity hair?

Browndigs69: African Threading is Life....I get a better stretch than blow-drying my hair, only thing I find it is quite taxing..... I'm still learning I'm not that good at it. I find it hard to knot the ends to secure the thread. I Just don't get how to knot the end I b struggling but even with the struggle I still get a good stretch.

vassiy vassiy: they look perfect

Danielle J: I hope my hair turns out as good as yours

Tulla Gborfu: Thanks once again yet another tip, stay blessed

Beautiful Dreamer: I really liked the loose curls.

youknowwhatflav: I love it

Rogue Y: these rollers are fun but after trying them enough and seeing youtube videos it looks like the results aren't as silky as say Flexi rods. The curl is nice but the hair doesn't look that smooth and I think it because they trap humidity even with the holes and even when my hair had these for hours they didn't have a smooth look.

Angelina Accra: both size look super cute and pretty

Angel Star: Does anyone remember using these 40 years ago?

NaturallyNerdeeNicol: This is the 50 12th video I have seen on these.... Banu knot results without having to wear those little spines on my head which NEVER and I mean NEVER dried evenly? #sold.
