Natural Hair Tutorial : Making Your Roller Set Last/Natural Hairstyles

After several days of sleeping on a roller set, hair tends to get frizzy and lose definition. Here is a natural hair tutorial with a couple of tips for those natural hairstyles to make ur roller set last a few more days! Enjoy!!

Hi ladies. Today I want to talk to you about my most favorite product, which is Lottabody.. This product gives you crisp beautiful curls that will last for weeks on end.. The way you want to use this, you can use it in concentrate, put it in a smaller spray bottle so that you can evenly distribute it on your hair. Or you can mix it with water. If you don't like that, heavy feeling. Know that the more you dilute with water, the less hold that you will have.. So I am actually on my way out the door and what I do is first thing. In the morning I have my rollerset. I look at my hair.. It rained real hard yesterday, so there are some curls that were not as defined.. So what I did was, I took some Lottabody and I took some rollers and I rolled it up. That was probably about an hour ago., But now I've showered put my makeup on gotten dressed. And now its time for me to take my rollers out.. I will do that right, now. As I do this I'll. Let you know that I made sure that the pieces that I used were very thin so that I made sure they could dry.. Sometimes I can get them to dry within 15 minutes.. If I use a very small piece. Notice how I'm taking the rollers out., As you can see, I'm not yanking, I'm being very careful that my hair isn't tangled. Just like that to make sure that the curl holds. And then I'm gon na take just a little Bit of oil put it on my fingers.. Sometimes I use essential oil, so theres, a nice scent. And I'll lightly separate my curls., And sometimes it might not be 100 % dry, but the beauty of this product Lottabody is that it will still hold the curl. Even though not 100 % dry. - And you can just pick it apart - like that and leave it there. Pull your other hair over top., Eventually whats going to happen is my hair - will try and revert back to its natural 4b 4c state, which is fine because its Just going to make this match the rest of the frizzy., So now I pick it out a little and I have texture mixed with the curl.. This is the true definition of a kinky curly hair do all, because I set my hair with this Lottabody. So get the Lottabody setting lotion.. If you have another setting lotion that you swear by feel free to share it with me. I'd love to try it. But this I've been using ever since I was 12 years old and it has never steered me wrong.. Ok, ladies thats, how I get my crisp defined curls.. I got ta get outta here, I'' ll talk to you later, bye,

Learnto Crochet: I already have the blue and green Lottabody concentrate. But I had to go and find the orange one too! Yes, I do notice a difference with using it at full strength. For me, the curl just looks better. Will you do a video showing how you do your perm rod set.

TC Shock: Thank you ! had a hard time maintaining my rollerset. love your hair and you're gorgeous too!

Mharn2000: Love your hair. Can you do a complete roller set tutorial. How long do you sit under the dryer? What heat setting do you use

created2worshipGOD: Haven't used this in y-e-a-a-a-a-r-s.  Since seeing this post at the beginning of the month I have since gone and purchased a small bottle to try out your straw set method.  Thanks for caring to share.  Will let you know how it turns out.

Blair Snow: I have 3A/B/C hair & just discovered Lotta Body. I must say it works almost as good as design essentials which keeps my flexi rods for a month.Your hair is gorgeous!

FaithBossMom: I love this...have never done a straw set but will most definitely try one

Mimi Thomas: Lottabody is terrible for my hair. I used the ready to use coconut and shea oils style me texturizing setting lotion in my hair a month ago to do a flexi rod set. My hair looked great when i took the rods out, but i noticed a crunchy feeling my hair had. I looked at the ingredients to find that lanolin is used in this product. Lanolin is used to protect sheep's wool from water. I have washed my hair three times, moisturized, oil treatment, the works. But my hair is still coated with this stuff. I should note I have never permed my hair, and always worn it natural (I am close to 30 years old). I have never had this issue with my hair. I know how to take care of my hair, but decided to try this product for the flexi rod set. Do not use any products that have lanolin, lanalool, mineral oils, or alcohol in your hair!!!! Being natural is about healthy hair and scalp and embracing YOU for YOU. Not about trying to obtain a look you saw someone else wearing or to have your hair curl like someone you saw on a tutorial. I am so sick about my hair after using this product. ..smh. please don't make the same mistake...

mayadabest: hi love your hair can I use this on 4c hair?

Kay Von Kent: I use Nairobi setting foam. It was introduced to me by my hairdresser. You can get it at Amazon.com.

Lizzette SmithColon: Hey, I usually sleep with a head scarf and my curls get flat. I wanted to know what do you put on your head at night? And how could I fluff my flat curls?

Soco G: New subbie ❤✅

HazelB: @nappyhairnation do you dilute your setting lotion for this style?

Finding Peace with Ariel: Love Love Love the fro...I'm going to try Lottabody.
