Hey guys welcome for this week's video as previewed last week, we are talking about the Loreal new air dry, it ruffled body mousse. This is supposed to be a heat free, styling product that you can just put into your damp hair out of the shower and sort of scrunch it up and leave it go. I have tried a bunch of products like these over the years, and so, if I kind of don't have very high hopes for this, I shouldn't say that I have very high hopes for this. My fingers are super crossed, but historically speaking, these kind of products don't really work that well. For me, especially this one specifically said it enhances hairs natural shape, so this might work better for somebody who has more naturally wavy hair than I do. I tend to get kind of cowlick e on top and just sort of look like Bed Head, but not in the good way that people manage to carry off on Instagram. You know I mean so here I am freshly sweat it up and worked out so we'll take this down just you can get a good idea of what we're dealing with and I've jump in the shower, and when I get out, I will put this in with You guys so this is my hair on 3rd day and if you know that looks fabulous, I killed me that when I try to style my hair with this level of sort of just body and messy undone, this it absolutely will not happen. Now. Watch we're going to use this and it's not going to look half as good as my post-workout here, but I digress so I'm going to go pop of the shower I'll come back. I will put this in with you guys. You do apply it all the way from root to tip and kind of scrunch scrunch, so we will see what happens I'll, be back in five well longer than five shorter than five for you longer than side. For me, okay, we are back post shower parish's. Towel dried and cold, through which, of course, from my fan, hair means we're about half way dry. So I'm going to go ahead and pull some of this out, I'm going to go in with a little more because about this much. It smells really good kind of sweet, a little bit candy ish and it says to scrunch it up I'll just have to flip over and scrunch, so so we're going to let that fully air dry. At this point, it's worth mentioning that one thing I'm hoping for here is that the scrunching action will still give me a little bit of lift at the root. I think one of the hardest things with heat free products is that hair comes out really flat, even sometimes kind of matted and oily looking depending on the product. But, given that we're now fully into the summer months here practically in a day or two, I feel like the less heat the better and you guys know me - I'm always trying to save time on my beauty routine as well. So we're going to let this kind of finish air drying and see what it does for what it's worth. I wanted. You guys know the shampoo that I was using also happens to be L'Oreal. These are the from the ever strong sulfate free line, I'm about halfway through these bottles. These I've probably been using off and on for about eight years. I just really like how they feel and how they smell, and I do feel like it actually does - have some good anti breakage for my hair, and I want to say that at one point, the conditioner or the fragrance was actually rosemary mint. But this one is now rosemary leaf in it still smells really really good so um. That is a shampoo that I use unintentional bit of this, both L'Oreal okay, that is where we're at so we will see if we get any volume out of this and I'll check back when I air dried lucky. For me, I hear: does it take very long to air dry so give it a couple of hours tops and we'll see where we're at? I am back, and I am now pretty much completely dry and a couple of things to note. First of all, so I said I was a little bit worried, but what the texture would be once it dry when you just put normal mousse in your hair, it can kind of clump together and get thick and sort of crunchy feeling there is no crunchies at All this is super soft to the touch doesn't really smell as candy-like as it did. When I put it on the may or may not be depending how much you love the smell super light, not the same amount of volume, guys it is kitty cat WWV over here guys back to what I was saying. I don't even remember not the same amount of volume that you would get with heat, at least not for me, and also it is not quite as smooth as I would have liked. It does give you a very nice beachy look. So if you just want to go on like a salt spray and scrunch it a little bit more to continue with a texturized look or i've also used some like clay like texturizing products, you could probably brush through this to keep going that direction. If you wanted to smooth it out, I would also recommend the frizzies secret weapon by John Frieda, just putting a little bit of that, probably in just the bottom couple of inches sort of smooth it out, but let it keep those natural waves and, if you're looking For a volume like I am I really like this Schwarzkopf I've got to the powder full it just like a little. It'S just like a little salt shaker that you literally sprinkle some powder onto your roots and rub it in, and it gives you some nice big volume. So what I would probably do also another tool that I would recommend to continue with a no heat, hair style of taking it from just this to something. Looking a little bit more put together a boar bristle brush just cuz, you can kind of see you think the roots don't have a lot of volume. They'Re not super smooth doubt I would just sort of take and brush not pulling the brush all the way through the hair, but just a couple inches away from the root to smooth that out and give that a little bit of a different look before going in. With the volumizing powder, so overall it's okay, it's not bad, for you know being excited in cost anymore than regular mousse, maybe six or seven dollars at Ulta. So for a summer hair product. I think it's perfectly fine. I will probably go ahead and use the bottle. I don't know that I would repurchase I'd love to come up with a really good way of styling, my hair without using a straightening iron, curling iron, or some that's going to require me to be using heat anyway. But that's that so this is what we look like air dried using the Loreal air, dried ruffled body. Mousse! That'S going to be it for this review! I hope that you guys enjoyed this. I hope that you guys have also been enjoying the new workout videos that have been going up once a week, as well as the new recipes and articles going up over on the blog once a week as well. Sportsfan7: I just got a beach wave perm by Pravana, this is what I am using as my everyday after shampoo leave in product. Love it, keeps the wave, very soft and reasonably priced!
