2 N 1 Twist Out| Protective Styles For Relaxed Hair

Hope you guys enjoy this twist out video. I will be showing 2 protective styles: first is a goddess twist other is a twist out. It's usually a 2 day process with the way I like to do mine. This method helps the hair in the back have more of a defined curl.

Hi you guys thank you so much for tuning in my name is Michelle and today's video is going to be on this twist out. I usually don't do twist outs, but I decided to try one just cuz. I always love like the pattern of twist outs but um yeah, so I decided to try one and basically what I do is just I'm going to show you guys in the clips of what I do. I basically just twist my hair, it's kind of like a two to three day process. When I do my protective styles now, just because I don't like to wash my hair one day and then try to do a braid out or twist out and then um wear it out the next day, because it usually never dries in time is usually frizzy and Not how I want it so you're gon na see what I do on the first day, I'm gon na just wear my hair. So this bicycle this video basically going to be like a two-in-one video, but I like to just wear those twists that I have in my hair for like one or two days and then after that you'll see me how I style my hair tonight before I like To wear it out like this so yeah, this is much with style, I'm just going to jump right into the video, so you guys can better basically see everything that I do and I hope you enjoy the video. If you have any questions or comments, leave them down below and I'll be happy to answer them for you guys and thank you so much for tuning in ok, you guys, so I am basically doing the exact same thing that I did in my goddess. Braids video is pretty much the same process when I do my twists. So I'm starting off with freshly washed hair and I'm just going to take my cancel, leave-in and distribute that throughout this entire section. And then I'm going to take my white oof comb and then start to detangle, then I'm just going to put it on some grapeseed oil on my hair, just to give it some shine in to soften it up some so yeah, that's, basically all I'm doing I'm And I'm also just going to make sure that I really detangle my hair too, because I don't want any snags in it while I'm starting my twist okay, so this is one of my most important steps in order to get like a smooth, sleek. Look. I take this boar bristle brush and start to smooth out my hair, and it really really does make a difference with the style of the hair, we're making. It look like a lot smoother, okay. So now I am starting to twist. Basically, when I'm doing my twist, I just take two pieces of hair and then put one under and then the one on top. I put my finger through and I keep on doing that and then, when I get towards the end, I like to bring the hair into the twist instead of to continue to twist. If this, if this makes sense like you, can basically see what I'm doing and then I just continue to twist the ends now for this side, I'm just going to repeat the exact same step that I did to the other side, I'm just a little more complicated For me to twist this side, just because I usually like a little bit more difficult for me to get my twist down, but basically I'm doing just the exact same thing. Okay, now I'm just twisting my ends a little more and now what I'm going to do is take one twist and take it all the way over to the next twist and bobby, pin it down I'm going to do that to both twists. Just like my I did in my own got in spray video okay, so I'm actually going to be wearing this hairstyle like for like a day or two. Maybe that's why I say it's like kind of like a 2-1 point video, because I want to be wearing this hairstyle for, like maybe two days so to complete the look and give it like a little more of a sleek. Look I'm just going to slicked down my edges and then like brush them back with my boar bristle brush and then, of course, I'm going to tie my scarf down the longer you tie your scarf down like the better your edges will lay. So I think I'm going to leave them leave my scarf on for about um at least an hour, so they can get my edges really slick. Like I said, I'm going to wear this hairstyle out and yeah. That'S basically it you guys you, okay guys. I have my twisting for about two days and I took them down. This is right before I'm about to go to bed, I'm basically already moisturize and seal. My hair with the products that I used in the beginning of the video I just sprayed a little water on it to give it a little bit more moisture, but the only difference is is now that I am back to rub my head out the next day. As a twist out, I section my hair off to four sections and then basically begin to twist every section. The reason why I do my hair like this is because, like usually when I take down my twist, I don't have a defined curl in the back. So that's the reason why I'm sectioning my hair off into four sections and doing it this way. Okay, so I am done with the twist. I just pinned them all back and now what I'm going to do is take my scarf and wear that for the night. Okay, guys so it is the next morning and I'm taking down my twist, I'm just taking the mixture. I have like all my bobby pins out right now and then I'm just going to take my grape seed oil and then put that on the twist. I love grapeseed oil just because it's a light oil. It doesn't really weigh your hair down too much and it gives it like amazing shine. So yeah you can see me I'm taking down the twist. I don't really have like a specific way to take down my twist. I just try not to ruin the pattern of the twist and just kind of like take them down from the root the roots of my hair and not the actual twists, because I don't want to like create phrase. Sorry I'm taking my sweater off just so. You guys can see my hair a little better, so yeah, I'm just going to continue to take down my twist and then add grapeseed oil before I take them down and yeah. That'S basically, all I'm doing right now, um, if you I don't know, if you guys know this or not, but my ends are like still pretty thin and my hair is growing in thick. If you watch my previous video, if you understand like why my hair is thick and then my ends are kind of like a little thin, they don't bother me at all, like I really don't care about heavy. My ends be that thin and yeah, I'm not gon na cut them off or anything but yeah. Now, I'm just I'm trying to separate that part, those in the back. That'S what I usually do is just try to cover up that part. That'S in the back! So yeah this is my twist out, I'm just going to flip this side over because that's usually how I like to wear my styles and how I don't look so young, it's just I don't know. I think it just gives me an older appearance when I um, when I flip that side over it just gives me more of a dull look so yeah. Now, I'm just going to kind of just play with it. So I get it to my liking, okay, guys. So that's pretty much it. I hope you guys enjoyed the video and thank you so much for watching bye. You
