Hey guys, what's up new viewers subscribers everybody welcome to my channel, i am cassie and i make relax your care videos today. As you could see, it's super sunny and it's very muggy. People are sweaty. So if you got ta hit the pool the beach or go inside of a bucket of water to cool off your body, then please do it. Do not let your relaxed hair, stop you? Yes, you can get it wet and there are ways to do that in today's video. I'M going to show you how to care for your relaxed hair before and after swimming, if you're ready for this, then stay tuned. So my hair's been in a protective style for a while now so before i do go and enjoy the pool. I actually want to detangle it for a bit so to do that. I'M just gon na finger detangle first and to continue detangling. I'M gon na use. Some water and then after i do i'm gon na put it back into some braids and i'm gon na apply either you could do two things. You could either use water to spray. Your hair, before your hair, hit the pool because the chlorine that's in the pool or if you go into the ocean, the salt and the water and the seed could be very detrimental to your hair. It could be very drying on top of it all. There is the sun, and all of that so guys this is what i'm gon na. Do i'm going to um braid my protective style, i'm gon na try to detangle it as much as i can and then i'm going to braid it back, because i just don't like my hair. If you want, you could just leave your hair out like that. But since i have so much new growth, i don't want. I want to minimize any more tangling up of my hair, so i'm going to braid it back and then, instead of spraying water today, i just want to add conditioner because right after i'm going to wash my hair, i'm going to add conditioner to my hair and Then i'm going to hit the pool enjoy the food and then i'm going to come back to wash my hair stay tuned. I detangled and rebraided my hair off camera. Now i am applying my conditioner plus water to saturate my hair as much as possible. If the chlorine or salt water finally get through, they have to actually put on a fight with my protective barriers. First, okay. I know this method works because i've used it multiple times in the past, while on vacation and experienced no hair, breakage or damage so guys. Save your hair this summer watch this entire video before you go for your next swim. If you're new here don't forget to subscribe and turn on your notification bell, because i have many more great hair care tips - videos for you give this video a like and share it as well with friends and family moving on to tip number one cut your hair With a conditioner of your choice before you go swimming, you can do it right before you hit the water. If everything is with you, for example, last year before enjoying the beautiful florida beach, i had my cream of nature leaving conditioner in my beach bag, which i applied right before i put my hair in a protective cell to minimize tangles while swimming. I do not like swimming with my hair being all over my face, although it could be pretty for picture purposes as you could see. By now, i could apply my conditioner either way before or after my protective style. I just wanted to show you guys. I know some, ladies have braids, so if you do want to add your conditioner, the braids should not stop you from applying your conditioner or leaving conditioner before you go swimming also, if you're traveling internationally and will only use a carry-on they only allowed. I know liquid containers to be 3.4 ounces to 100 milliliters. I believe i think that's the size they ask if you're like me and like to have your own products with you, then this will bring us to tip number two get yourself: a travel size container kit for your hair products, such as shampoos, conditioners, leave-ins, etc. I got this kit from amazon and at first i thought they were very small way too small, but don't be fooled by the size. I filled up the bigger bottles with products and still had leftovers after my trip. So if you want more, just get two kids then worst comes to worst. If you do not have any conditioners or leave-in conditioners with you, then saturate your hair with regular water. Before going in the pool or the beach, my lovies tip number three do a protective style or tie your hair up. However, you would like to to minimize tangles - i know swimming with your hair out is beautiful for picture purposes, but i would tie them up as soon as possible. After those picks, it makes hair management for swimming so much easier and faster, especially with a lot of new growths like mine right now. However, if you really have to leave your hair out, it could be managed, but it'll take longer tip number four, if you'll be at the beach or the pool for a long time and between swimming before tanning, in the sun. Rinse, your hair with regular water use a hat for the sun as well, because the sun could really dry out your hair when combined with salt, water and chlorine reapply conditioners before going back in the water, if possible. Now that you're done swimming then let's go to what you need to do after swimming. Okay, so tip number one. So this, if you are at the beach and you're, not gon na get home soon enough. So right after you leave the beach or the pool wherever it is, so try to find some water and rinse your hair as soon as possible, and then once you get home or once you get to the hotel, wherever you are, then you grab your shampoo and Shampoo, your hair! So if you are on vacation and you are hitting the water many times a day or every single day, then you could shampoo once and then every time every other time just to rinse out your hair and remove the salt, water and the bleach from your hair. You can just use a conditioner to wash your stay like a co-wash on your hair to remove the salt and the chlorine from your hair. Once the vacation is over, you pack you're ready to go, and you know you're not going to be in the water anymore. Then you could just go ahead and shampoo your hair and do your whole shebang deep conditioner. So right now, i'm home i'm going to wash my hair with my all favorite moisturizing shampoo, my care care and then you nevertheless, i'm just going to lip condition. My hair, and so on, just remember just because your hair is wet not as well, it's very not so fragile stay for your hair to be in, for me, there's a specific way that i take off my rubber bands. First of all, when i'm putting it into the hair, i don't tie it too much so right now, it's not too tight at all and it's easier for me the way i had it in my hair, because it's not too tight when it's time for me to Remove it, i easily just slide it off the hair. As you could see, i got no hair in there, so you got to be careful as much as possible if you could protect your your engine, protect that we're always avoiding unnecessary breakage right so out, tip number two: if you are on vacation and going swimming every Day then, you do not have to shampoo your hair. Each time you're done swimming shampooing every day will dry out your hair, which you do not want. All you have to do is co-wash your hair with a conditioner, meaning you just wash your hair with the conditioner to rinse it out, rinse out the chlorine or salt water from it, then always remember to follow this up with a leave-in, conditioner and seal it with Oil, let it air dry or if you are going to blow dry, your hair, don't forget to use your heat protectant on your last vacation day. When you know you are completely done with swimming, then you can go ahead and shampoo your hair and do a full-blown deep conditioning treatment, and all of that guys, i decided to make this video for you, because it was hard for me to find this information. When i started my healthy hair care journey and i had to go on vacation, i did not know what to do so. I looked everywhere. I found a couple of people that said a couple of stuff which i applied and i applied my own things to it and it helped me so after applying these things that i told you earlier on my trip a couple of years ago, i had no breakage Or damage so i was super excited about that. Don'T forget to give this video a big thumbs up if it was helpful today, ask me in the comments below anything else, you'd like to know about hair care when swimming. Hopefully i will know the answer guys. So my family is waiting for me to eat dinner now, so we're gon na go eat dinner. In the meantime, you already saw that i applied my leave and i am letting it marinate in there with the oil and hopefully by the time, it's time for me to detangle. It will be all softened up and it's gon na. Take me less time to detangle and in the meantime you know what to do. If you have not done so, just hit the subscribe button and turn on your notification bell, so you don't miss out on my next upload, alright guys until next time ciao you
