Hi guys in today's video i'm finally going to be sharing my heatless hair curling tutorial. So i mentioned this in a couple other videos where i am doing heatless curls now and a lot of you guys messaged me and said you wanted to see a tutorial on it. So that's what today's video is all about, i'll, be sharing all the details on how to get successful. Heatless curls! I have been doing heatless curls consistently for two months now and i rarely use heat anymore, like it's very rare that i use it. It'S probably like a few times a month, i'll use it on special occasions, but most of the time i'm doing the heatless curling method. Since i am on this journey to grow up my hair really long. If you guys want to know all about my hair care routine and what i'm doing to help promote healthy hair growth, let me know if you want to see a video all about that um. I know probably not everybody's trying to grow out the hair, but i have been really really trying to grow it out. Like really long. I really want long luscious locs. I want to be on my natural hair, so i've been doing many things to like help with that, like i have been getting really nitty-gritty about it anyways i first i'm going to share the hair curling tutorial, because i know that's why you clicked on this video. However, i do recommend stick through this entire video, because i'm going to be sharing lots of tips on how to get successful, heatless curls because, let's be real, it is really hard to get good. Heatless curls i've tried so many different methods, so many different products that i purchased and i feel like, i really found something that actually works and i feel like will work for almost any hair type, so anyways with that being said, hit that subscribe button. So you don't miss out on any more videos and let's go ahead and hop right in okay. So the best part about this heatless curling tutorial is that you don't need to buy anything which is amazing. You most likely have these things. So first you'll need is a bathrobe, so i know this is kind of silly, but it works uh. You can buy a special like thing similar to this, to put on your head to wrap your hair in, but honestly just work with what you have and then, if you want to get a little bit fancier with it, you can buy stuff. Even if you don't have a bathrobe like this, you can actually use a older t-shirt and just roll it up into like this kind of a shape that will also work. So you need something like this. I highly suggest a bathrobe and then you'll just need some hair ties and something to spray your hair with a little bit of water. So, let's get down to the tutorial so first, what you'll do is i recommend taking your bathrobe and folding it in half like this, because you will get bigger curls this way, if you just use the one side like this you're going to get really thin and Tight curls, if you're going for that, then do that. But if you want bigger curls, like you see here, i recommend folding this in half and then what you'll do is you're just going to put on top of your head or straight in the middle and then you're just going to start with your front sections of Hair and start rolling it back so in the footages here you're. Seeing me do this: i am doing this with freshly washed hair. So if you are going to do this heatless curling method with freshly washed hair, you do want to do this at nighttime and sleep in it, because it takes a bit longer for the curls to develop when you have freshly washed hair. If you're like on day two three or four on your hair after you washed it, you don't need to do the whole night. You can actually just do probably like two to three hours in the morning, just depending on how thick your hair is, but i'll get into more of the tips later so you're just going to work through your whole head, just wrapping it on each side, you're going To have it all, go the exact same direction and then, once you have wrapped all of your hair on one side, you're just going to secure the end of it with a hair tie. So i really recommend using silk hair ties because they are way more gentle on your hair and i also recommend using a robe too something soft to wrap your hair in because again, it's going to be more gentle on your hair you'll. Just do the exact same thing on the other side and then you'll just kind of have two pieces hanging there. What you'll want to do is actually secure it at the back of your head with another hair tie and then what you'll do is you'll take a bottle of water, just a regular spray bottle, and i only only recommend doing like a couple sprays of water on Each side - that's it! You do not need to drench your hair. When you are doing this curling method, the more water you put on it, the more frizzy your hair will be from what i've learned. So i've tried it with completely wet hair. I'Ve tried it with like halfway dry and then i got it all the way down to just a couple sprays on each side just to kind of help. The curls set a little bit and trust me. You do not need to do a lot of water. Just a couple sprays on each side and you'll be good, so now, let's get into the tips, and i will share the results of the curls from when i woke up towards the end of this video. So these are some really crucial tips to remember, and this is going to help you get more successful curls when you're doing this technique. So, first things, first, depending on how you want your hair to be, if you want bigger curls, like i mentioned, use something thicker to wrap your hair, it's kind of essentially the same thing when you are using a hot curling iron. If you want bigger curls, you use a larger barrel. If you want smaller, tighter curls, you use a thinner barrel, so it's essentially the same thing when you're doing the heatless curling method. Second thing is the tighter you roll your hair, like the curls, the tighter your curls will be. So if you want more of those bouncy, looser waves, don't worry about wrapping. It super duper tight because when you wake up in the morning, it's going to be so so so tight and more on the frizzier side. So if you want kind of bigger, more voluminous curls do not make it as tight. So this next tip you can do this curling technique in two different ways. One is overnight, like i'm doing in the clip here for this one, you don't want to make the curl super tight, since the curls are going to be staying all night, for usually at least what six to eight hours the curls are going to be set really. Well, and if you do it too tight again, it's going to be really tight, curls, really frizzy and really poofy. So if you're doing overnight, don't make the curls as tight. However, on the flip side, if you're doing this in the morning - and you have several hours to get ready before you go out - you can make them tighter. So that way, the curls can set a lot faster and you're really just going to have to practice and just find what works for your hair type and also, i feel like the thicker. Your hair is the longer you'll want to leave in the curls. But if you have more fine hair, like i do you'll notice, you won't have to leave it in for as long to get your desired. Curls next thing that i mentioned a little bit earlier is do not drench your hair in water. Actually, the thing i absolutely do not recommend you do is come out of the shower and then wrap your hair in the bathrobe. It'S going to make your hair so poofy and so frizzy. When you wake up in the morning, i strongly recommend do this with dry hair and then just take your spray bottle. Do a couple sprits of water throughout your hair and that's it. So those are my few quick tips on how to get better success with heatless curls. I honestly like a while ago. I gave up on it because i'm like this just absolutely doesn't work. There'S no good way to do it, and this works. You'Re, just gon na have to have patience and do lots of practicing with your hair, because everyone's hair type and texture is so different. But i noticed this way is the best way to get the most success with heatless curls and then okay. So when i first woke up in the morning, i went to the bathroom and then here's the results with my heatless curls. I did them too tight when i rolled them in last night. So sometimes so even me doing this for a couple months, i still am learning and trying to figure out the exact strength of me, rolling them back and seeing how tight i need them to me. So i'm still kind of figuring that out as well, but they did fall and, as you can tell like right here me right now. This is probably six hours later and i think they relaxed a lot better. So they look more like the type of curls that i personally like doing kind of a little bit bigger and more voluminous, rather than like skinnier and like tighter. So keep that in mind the tighter you do it the tighter the curls will be, but they will fall throughout the day. So if you want to start off with really tight curls in the morning, knowing that you're going to be going somewhere in the evening - and you want to be dolled up for that - you can keep that in mind. So you can really just play around with it and work around your schedule to see what you think would work best, and then i noticed that you know when you do use water. It still does make your hair frizzy, even if you use a little bit. So what i use to help kind of combat that frizziness is use an oil. I use this one by orbe. If you have a hair oil, you love just use that another product i discovered like a couple years ago and i have been using it often is this hair fly away tamer, so it leaves no residue, it doesn't make your hair oily or greasy or crunchy. Like you literally feel nothing, however, it tames all that frizziness so i'll. Just take this, it kind of looks like a mascara brush and i'll just put little sweeps on my hair, and it really helps with that frizziness. So it's super duper nice. It also helps if you had like some postpartum hair loss and you have like little hairs growing back um. You could just look that down and it makes your hair look a lot more polished and put together and less frizzy and, like i, don't feel any residue on my hands at all. Like there's, i feel nothing so anyways. Those were all my tips and tricks and on how i do my heatless curls, so i really hope you guys enjoyed this video learned, something i am thinking of purchasing one of those i'll put a picture of it here. I don't know what to call it, but just like looks like the bathrobe, but it's made out of silk and i know they sell out on amazon, so i might purchase this so i'll link it down below for you guys if you want to check it out. Anyways, i hope you enjoyed today's video hit the subscribe button. If you're, new and i'll see you next time, bye,
