Curls For The Girls | Silk Press Flexi Rod Set

Hey y'all, it's bria simone. We are back with another video and we are doing flexi rods, but first i'm going to curl her hair and then put the flexi rod in, and you want to do this right after you finish the curl, so it can still be hot. I am rolling it up, i'm just rolling up in the same way or in the same direction as i curled it. So you don't want to do it in the opposite direction, or it's going to mess the curl up and again i'm going to just roll the flexi rod in the same direction. The curl is and then just squeeze the ends once you get to the top. Applying the flexi rod right after you curl, it allows the curl to hold. So once you take the flexi rods out once the hair cools, then the curls come out just as tight as you curled them, and you don't necessarily have to wait a whole day to take the flexi rods. You can just leave them in for one to two hours, just as long as the hair has cooled down before taking them out, but the longer you let the flexi rod stay the longer the curls will last um, oh uh, so that is pretty much it. We are done, we are back the next day and i am putting some heat protectant on my fingers so that i can smooth the curl out while taking the flexi rods out. And yes, this is pretty much just a takedown process. You just unroll them, that's it. Wow is so after you're done taking them out. You just want to separate the curls, and i didn't want to separate them too much, because she wanted big, fluffy curls and i'm being gentle and just taking my time when it comes to separating the curls. You don't want to rush or be rough with it, because then it will cause frizz and it will mess up the curl. So just take your time and after i'm done separating them, i will be fluffing them out with the comb and just styling and creating a part and seeing how i want to style the curls. So this is the final look well kinda. This is before i start messing with it some more, but look at this y'all that looks so pretty the curls came out.
