I can say first of all, what I like to do is just wash my hair and then wait till it's about 99 % dry. Then I like to brush it to get rid of any tangles. It may have just to make it easier to work with. This part is totally optional, but I like to add an oil to my hair so that my curls appear a lot more smoother and a lot more softer. I'M using the new me argan oil. So again, this part is totally optional, but I'm just separating my fringe with my hands securing my fringe out the way. Then I'm just going to put my hair in a high ponytail uh, just to smooth out everything with a hair tie. I'M just going to tie up my hair loosely just to make sure there aren't any bumps in my hair, and this will not affect any of my curls so using a sock bomb which you can easily make by cutting out the end of the sock and then Rolling it into a bun, I'm just going to put it in my hair and they're, going to split my hair into two. So with one half, I'm just going to wrap it around the bun until a certain length and then just go to secure it with a clip. Then I do the exact same thing to the other side. Oh once it has reached roughly the same length as the other slide, I'm just going to grab both of these strands together and continue wrapping it around the bun until I can no longer wrap it. No more. I secure the ends with bobby pins, so my hair doesn't unravel from the bun. I sleep with this in and in the next morning I just take out the bun and there you have it. I literally do this probably every single day, as you can probably tell from a lot of my videos. This is the hairstyle I pretty much go to because it is the simplest and it's the quickest way for me to get these really really nice curls, and that is basically it. I hope you guys enjoyed this video and I'll see you guys in my next one

GE - Jİ EY: This was actually so satisfying to watch

seven: I love you so much!! I have tried EVERY heatless curl type but this one was the only one who worked!! thank youuuu.

Samantha Medina: This is really hard for people that have thick hair!

roger hammond: You are so beautiful Emily, as a hairdresser, i love this tutorial, looks amazing x

katie b: I have it in right now! :) Hopefully it'll work, if so I'm doing it for the first day of school! Thanks for the tutorial ❤ EDIT: It worked! I had more of waves than curls, so I think next time I'll tie it tighter, or make two buns because I have thicker hair. Also letting my hair dry a little bit more beforehand might help. It was really comfortable to sleep in!

Old Account: I love this video so much! Most tutorials make my hair either look no different or too thick and poofy. However, this video is perfect for me, with thick hair, and my friend, with really thin hair. Also, it is so easy to remember because you only need a sock! x

Stephanie Robles: I have been doing this every day and I love that I'm not burning my hair. It looks much healthier now.Thank You

Malia Barbora: You are amazing! Seriously! :) You saved my "hair life" with this heatless curls. My hair is naturally extremely straight and thin and this is literally the only one way to curl them :) So thank you sooooo so much :) :)

theG2Kira: GURL, I wanted to thank you a million times over. This worked so well for me, and so effortless. I've done my hair all sorts of colors, so heat is not a good option for me. But UGH, this worked like a charm and I'm so absolutely happy to have found it! Thank you!

Azra Miah: I just tried this, and it came out so well. Thank you

Josie Vaver: I did this and my hair looks fabulous! I happen to have put it in a little too early, but I will not make that mistake again. Thank you so much! None of those other tutorials worked on me❤️

Kate W.: Just a tip for anyone, if you don't want to sleep in it you could totally wear it to school or work because it's actually a really cute bun in general. Then also it would probably dry faster and stay in

Evelyn Zheng: Omg thank you so much for this!! I have been using this for months and I love these curls!!!

Cecy Vazquez: So beautiful! Well done! ❤️

Vanna Hovanky: Thank you for this awesome tutorial! The way you put your pony tail through the sock, split your hair into 2 parts, and wrapped your hair around the sock on top of your head was great! I had tried following other tutorials before which demonstrated starting with the sock at the tip of the ponytail and rolling up but that worked terribly for me with layers sticking out and irregular waves. Also I had tried headband curls but I always found the headband too uncomfortable to sleep in and the curls were always flat in the back. I had almost given up on no heat curls and was resigned to my iron. I tried your method last night and it worked beautifully! My friends thought I used a curling iron! This is a game changer to my daily routine! Thank you!

nicki dx: Beautiful! I'm definitely going to try this... those curls look amazinggggg

Fandom Freak: I'm definitely going to try this method, it looks so pretty! Thank you!

Carley: I love this!!! Just worried my hair might be to thick... Still worth a try! Thanks for this awesome idea!

Heather Lucio: You're so super cool and this tutorial looks perfect! I'm gonna try this for graduation tomorrow!! Also you got a new subscriber.

Ashley Manisap: I LOOVE the intro! Glad you're posting more hair tutorials!! Love you Emily!

LiLi Stapel: This is so cool! And you could totally pull this off just wearing it like that to school and have the curls after school :)

La Fleur Hair: Loving these heatless curls!

blurryfacelesterr: i swear your hair looks absolutely flawless in ever video!

GDVBS: Why does your hair look so good, shiny an healthy while mine looks like shit

Hebe Cooke: OMG THIS WAS SO HELPFUL, thanks so much!!!!

Ashley John: This is probably the best heatless curls turtorial I’ve come across! Super easy to do and easy to sleep in. I have to wear my hair in a bun for work and this not only makes a neat bun but beautiful hair when I take my hair out of a bun! My husband actually prefers straight hair but he loved my hair in these curls! Thanks for sharing I now can continue going heatless and have volume! Your awesome

Sarya Wilson: This works great and probably the easiest to sleep in <3 Love it

Emilie boo: Literally just done this! Hope mine turns out as good as yours <3 X

Tess bitch: I started doing this awhile ago! I usually use more than one bun because of how long my hair is and the curls come out looking so gorgeous

Anna Page: This couldn't be more helpful!! I love it. Thanks so much!!

CathyKath: i tried this way to curl yesterday night and its so beautiful!!

Goldichan92: Woaw, that looks really gorgeous. I have to try this! Thanks for sharing =)

oscarmerlips101: This video is amazing we were just scrolling though videos and found this one we love this hairstyle and we will use this look a lot thanks xxx

Miah Olson: Tried this!!It really does work great! It turned out so good  I'm wearing this to my class banquet next week:)

YUMMAEH1: Looks very simple. Plan to try it! Thank you for this trick!

Naomi Taylor: This seems like a really great way to curl your hair without heat, I'm literally trying this now and will let you know if it's worked out, thanks for these great ideas! fingers crossed

Breana M: Quick tip for the bump issue from the hair tie: get two Bobbi pins and place them on the opposite sides of a hair tie. With your hair formed in the shape of a pony tail, attach one Bobbi pin into your hair, then wrap the hair tie around your hair and secure it with the other Bobbi pin. Andrea's Choice's channel has a heatless curls tutorial that explains it very well. If you do it correctly it will work.

CathyKath: i tried this way to curl yesterday night and its so beautiful!!

CathyKath: i tried this way to curl yesterday night and its so beautiful!!

mallory: British Asians got it dooown. The flawless skin, the flawless hair and the pretty accent. Oml im Asian too but I speak pidgin/american

Rébêčćà łėė Robb: Totally trying this!!! Thank you so much

LarissaJumaymah: you are beautiful. and this method is sooo helpful! saw a ton of heatless curls videos but never saw this method so thank you :)))

Julie M.: Thanks Emily, I absolutely love this method. I don't want to do it at night because I want my hair to be bedroom-hot (lmao). This is the only method where my hair won't look absolutely ridiculous while the curls are being formed, since it looks like a bun. I just need to arrange it so that the sock/hair doughnut isn't visible. I wear it during the day and let my hair down when hubby gets home from work. Perfect!

mariana: I have extremely thick long hair and I just did this in two buns so we will see how it looks in the morning (:

Naritru Wireve: This looks so easy to do but I feel like somehow I'll manage to find a way to mess it up

Sof Sof: It''s amazing how you just take the bun out, shake a little, and it's done! I'm trying this tonight but I already know I'll have a lot of work fixing my frizz in the morning :/

Miracle Mirk: omg I totally need to try this. thanks for the tutorial :D

Jennifer Grace: This worked amazingly for me!!! Literally perfect big curls, only thing is that it didn't stay in the whole day so id recommend hair spray xx

ava.l9: Honestly though I would probably just do the bun part, it looks so neat and pretty!❤️

TheBeautyBreakdown: Love this idea!! Totally trying it <3

americafirstgal: The sock bun worked brilliantly for me. I have such straight and fine hair but my curls held all day. Thank you so much!

Daisy: this is so cute! i'm trying this tonight!

Raspberry: Your face at the very end though, priceless. I love how you dont take yourself that seriously, but at the same time, youre very creative amd talented.

Andresa Vitor: The best video about heatless curls. Fast and simple. Thanks for sharing

hey guys!: This is worked but it was hard for me because I have thick hair (shout-out to my fellow Hispanics and thick haired people like me ) the struggle is REAL

Ricia H: I will do this bit every time I do one of these cutly hair tutorials, in the morning I look like a goof with huge curls everywhere. it seems to work so perfect on them
