5 Cute & Easy Hairstyles For Wavy/Curly Hair | Quick & Heatless | Taina Maria

Hey guys welcome back or welcome to my channel if you guys are new here, my name is tyna and in today's video we're going to be talking all about hair, you guys seem to really love my hair videos, so i'm just going to keep them coming and In today's video i'm going to be showing you guys, my favorite hairstyles that i love to do on my hair type. My hair isn't straight, and it's not super curly. It'S kind of like that in between wavy curliness and i'm just gon na, be showing you guys. Some of the hairstyles that i've learned to do on my hair that are super cute and effortless, but looks like you put in a lot more time than you really did now. I am definitely not a hair stylist, i'm actually not that great at hair. I'Ve just learned as the years go by to do what's best for my own, so these looks are definitely going to be foolproof and super easy for you guys out there who are like me, who aren't the best at hair. So this first one is probably the easiest one out of all of them and it's honestly one of my personal favorites. So i'm going to be doing the half up, half down hairstyle that you guys saw in my intro, and i also did it in my fall makeup. Look that i just posted! So honestly, all you need for this. Hairstyle is a scrunchie. This one is my favorite. I prefer scrunchies like this versus one like this. These are just a lot softer on your hair and they don't tug on it as much and i've already wet my hair a little bit. So i used a spray bottle and i just wet it, and i also put in a little bit of my cantu care for kids curl refresher into it as well, and that's just to calm it down. My hair is naturally pretty puffy and for this look you definitely don't want it to be super puffy, so i calmed it down a little bit so that it's more flat - and i did a brief part down the middle. It'S definitely not perfect, but this look is supposed to be more effortless anyway, so it really doesn't matter, i'm honestly just going to take my thumbs and go right on top of my ear here and take a good amount of hair. It honestly depends on how much hair you guys want to put so i like to put maybe around this much i'm going to go ahead and grab both sides and bring it to the back of my head and then you're just going to make a simple ponytail With it - and this is just what the hairstyle looks like it - took me two seconds - you guys and it's super easy, but also really cute, i'm obsessed with this, and i also think it looks really nice with this shirt in particular. But this is one of my go-to hairstyles and it's so effortless and beautiful and, like you guys, saw super easy and quick. This next look is definitely one of my go-to and it is my sleek low bun. So for this look you want to be a little bit more precise, so i'm just going to take my comb and i'm going to part my hair down the middle. It doesn't have to be perfect, but you want it to be more perfect than the last look. So all you need are two scrunchies, so i'm going to be using these two right here, a little bit of water and some styling product. So a lot of people like to use gels and stuff like that to do these types of looks, i really don't like doing gels and mousses just because i feel like they make my scalp really dry. So while i'm doing these looks, i actually use some hydrating curl cream. I use this in all of my hair videos and it is amazing, so this is 100 extra virgin, coconut oil and shea butter. I usually do this look when my hair is really dirty and i don't feel like washing it yet so i'm going to wet my hair just a little bit with my spray bottle, i'm going to really focus that on the top, because that's the part that you're Going to want really sleek and then i'm going to just take some of that hydrating curl cream and put a little bit of it in my hands. This curl cream goes on white at first, but it goes away with time and then i'm using this brush right here. This is the brand goodie. I use this brush for all of my sleek hairstyles and you're, basically just going to smooth your hair out as much as you can. What i really like about the hydrating curl cream is. It gives me a really nice shine. You guys see that shine right. There you're going to just brush it into a very low ponytail, so it all depends on how low you guys want it, but i literally want it as low as possible. So i'm really gon na focus that right in the bottom of my neck. So now that my hair is nice and slick, i'm just gon na make a ponytail, so you could just leave it like this. This is also a really cute hairstyle. It'S just a low ponytail, and i do this all the time also, but for this bun look, i'm gon na go ahead and spray the rest of my ponytail with water just to get it tamed down, and the next step is easy. So now i'm just going to twist it like this and wrap the hair around the ponytail. Then, once i have it like this, i'm gon na go ahead and take my other hair tie and just secure it, and this is what the bun looks like from the back, and that is pretty much the bun. I love it. It is so cute. This look is honestly really good for like bad hair days when you're just not feeling the way your hair is looking down, sleek it and put it back into a low bun. You honestly can't go wrong with it, so i'm gon na take a tiny bit more of that cream and i'm gon na use that just to make sure there's like no flyaways and then i like to pull out like my little sideburns. I have really long sideburns. So it's kind of weird okay, so for the next hairstyle i'm gon na take out this bun and i'm actually going to do a ponytail. So i'm going to be showing you guys how i do my gorgeous braided ponytail. I'Ve been seeing the braided ponytail everywhere nowadays, and i love it. This look is so cute, so now i'm just going to brush my hair into a ponytail. It'S honestly up to you guys on how high you want it to be. I personally, like my ponytails, to be around like right here. I don't want it too, high or too low, and since i already have that cream in my hair, i'm not going to put too much in it again and then you're also going to want to make sure that the bottom is nice and smooth as well. And now that the ponytail is on just a little bit of last minute, smoothing okay, so now that we have our ponytail on, it is time to braid. So, first off, like i did in the last look, i have to wet my hair, and this is just so that the braid is nice and slick, and you don't have a lot of flyaways going on with it. My hair has product in it still from when i styled it like on the first day, so i'm not going to add any product to it but feel free if you guys want to add some type of mousse or anything just to give it a strong hold. I'M just not gon na do it today and then i'm just gon na do a normal braid. So i'm just gon na stop the braid right around here and to secure it. I'M using one of these little elastic bands. You can get these honestly from anywhere and then feel free to pull your braid apart to make it bigger, and then you can't forget the baby hairs. So i know people like to take styling gels and like little combs and stuff like that. But honestly for me i don't really like that, like harsh swoop, so i just take my finger and i move my baby hairs like to my liking. Just so i don't look bald, and this is my braided ponytail look. I love this so much, especially with some really cute gold tube earrings. You guys saw how easy this was. I did this in two seconds and you can dress this look up or down so for my next look, i'm going to be showing you guys how i do my signature top knot, bun i love doing buns and having my hair up just so that it's not Like in my face all the time so again with the smoothing we're just going to smooth the hair out one more time once my hair is at the desired height, i'm going to go ahead and take it and just twist it until i get the shape that I, like i'm, then grabbing my second hair tie just to secure the bun in place. I love doing buns like this. I feel like it is so sophisticated and it looks super cute with any occasion. At any time of day, like i said, i'm just going to use my fingers to just like comb them out how i want to, and i'm going to take out these little hairs right here, and that is pretty much my little top knot and it took me Less than five minutes for sure, so i've already been applying like my little sleek products for every single look in this video. But obviously, if i was doing this look for the first time, i would definitely add some type of cream to make sure that the look is nice and sleek and i don't have any baby hairs or flyaways going everywhere. Now, for the last and final look, i'm gon na be doing that little like ariana grande ponytail, with that little side swoop in it, i'm just going to insert a photo in case that description was terrible. It definitely was so for this look you're going to want to take a comb of some sort and just do a deep side, part in your hair, so i already parted it right here and then i also parted it in the top right. There i mean it's not perfect, but it's good enough and then you're going to leave this hair right here. So i'm going to go ahead and tie this with an elastic just so it doesn't get in the way and then i'm going to get the rest of my hair and just tie it into a really high ponytail. So i'm gon na spray, the perimeter and then, like we've, been doing a thousand times in this video, i'm gon na make sure everything is smoothed out. I want this ponytail to be nice and high on top of my head, because i feel like that's what looks cute with this type of hairstyle. Now that my hair is in that ponytail. I'M going to go ahead and take this part here and really try to make it nice and smooth. I already wet it and put some more of that cream in it. I'M then going to take that hair and bring it back behind my ear. I have some bobby pins here just to pin it back, i'm just going to bobby. Pin it like right behind my ear, make sure it's nice and tight, and i'm gon na use a few bobby pins, so it doesn't move now for this look. I definitely want to accentuate the natural texture of my hair, so i'm just gon na spray, some water into it and we're gon na add some styling products, and this is pretty much it for this super cute little ponytail that i am so obsessed with. I feel like this look flatters, so many different face shapes and different hair types and expect to see this hairstyle a lot on my upcoming videos already guys. That is it for today's video.
