This hair cut is a beautiful and versatile look for anyone with long, heavy hair who wants it to have movement and bounce. The layers are long but give a great ponytail shape with lots of framing pieces to highlight your face.

This channel was originally founded to bring yoga to more people. As the local shutdown creeps toward the 6 month mark I have decided that this channel also needs some hair to be in alignment. I hope you enjoy this video as much as I enjoyed creating it.

Welcome to village hair studio tutorials, we are going to do a haircut and a style on olivia today. So, let's begin all right, i like it. It'S beautiful, hi. Everyone welcome back to village hair studio, tutorials we've just given olivia a long layered haircut with some very soft layers around her face. This is a haircut that is extremely versatile works, well to remove some weight and some heaviness through long hair. Also, if this is the type of cut you're looking for this, also lends itself really well to a beautiful money piece, so some lighting pieces in through this front area and maybe some light balayage. However, we are not coloring this hair. We are keeping this natural as much as i want to get my hands into it. So now what we've done is i've sprayed in some leave-in blowout sprite. This is living proof called blowout. It helps make your blow dry a little bit faster, a little bit easier, but most important is that it protects the hair up to 450 degrees. My dryer is hot and my curling iron is hot, so i really want to protect this hair and we will begin the first thing. We'Re going to do is work on drying the scalp area. As you can see, the ends have already started to dry and i'm going to be styling this. These ends with my iron. So what i want to do is really get a little bit aggressive at the root so that i can create a little bit of volume into this area, but stay tuned. We'Re going to teach you that as well notice when i'm drawing that. I also like to use the round of the head to help me create a soft gentle volume. The other thing i always do is blow dryer. Heat is always pointed towards the ends of the hair. This helps smooth the hair, keep the cuticle a little bit flatter and prevent frizzing, so, regardless of which direction i'm blow drying. The hair in my air is always pointed to the ends of the hair, keeping that cuticle flat when hair is half wet and half dry. It tends to be at its tangliest and although i'm using my fingers, i am running into some, not mid shaft. I am, however, not going to pull my hair through that. I'M going to trust that as the hair dries it will detangle on its own and any tangles that i don't get out with my fingers and my blow dryer. I will get out with my wet brush, so i'm still trying to not really pull and put too much tension on that hair. So and here's another little tip for you, if you, if you have a wet brush, you'll notice that if you were to hold it this way, there's a nice even channel between all of the bristles. So, if you're having trouble pulling the brush through this way, just change up the angle of the brush up and down will help. One of the other things you need to be a little bit concerned about is when the hair is really hot and you put a clip into it. You will possibly leave some clip marks, so always be a little cognizant of that. Oh um,
