On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Lizbeth Muller from Liz's Hair Design in Hollywood Florida and today we're going to show you how to cut curly hair. I'm going to go ahead and bring her hair down from here, just a little bit to make sure that She'S evened off a little bit and that her front is also cut for this haircut.. You have to do that.. You can't just do one part and not another.. You have to make sure that everything is equal and that everything it alright.. This side has to go over here and there's a way of measuring it.. Let me go ahead and go into cutting of the front and we'll go into the measuring of the front. She's already kind of oval. But I'm going to go straight across here for a minute and then I'm going to reangle the side of her hair.. I'M going to reangle the side of it., I'm going to do the same here. Zeon Galaxy: The difference between wet and dry curly hair is huge. It's so easy for anyone to make huge mistakes cutting curly hair when wet. I've never met a hairdresser who knew what they were doing with curly hair. They'll cut it as if it was straight (and wet). Not everyone has as much curly hair as someone else so you don't know how much the hair will shrink when dry.

Ruben de Groot: @Nandee7 just so untrue, cutting clean dry hair is done very often, and mostly by profesionals, since the results will be more accurate since hair looks way different when wet

Ive been going to a guy for over 5 years, and i love the way he cuts my hair. but i would only let him cut it STRAIGHT. he got brave on me and told me to trust him to cut it curly. well lets just say ive been trimming my own hair, bangs etc because he took off TOO MUCH, it never fails. they just dont get it ! i don't even cut my hair curly.
