Hi, my name is Tracey, valence, celebrity hairstyles and owner of qualify, Tracy Bohlen today I'll be showing you how to frost highlights into the air using a frozen cap on longer hair first, what you'll need to do is part. The hair, where you like the frosting to mostly show and lay it down flat, you need a frosting cap and the needle all you'll do is lay that frosting cap down on the head. Now, on shorter hair, you usually tie it under the chin, but on longer hair. All you do is secure that cat down you take your needle, you puncture one with the holes you latch onto the hair and you pull it out now, of course, with longer hair. When you're pulling it out, it'll take a little longer and you might catch some friends around the hole. So you just grab that extra frizzy hair and pull it out with it. I'Ll repeat, the process again run the nail through the hole latch onto some hair and pull it out using your fingers. The access hand that didn't come out. You just run it through and pull that excess hair. Also and that's how you highlight and do frosting on longer hair using a cap. Thank you for watching i'm tracy balan, you

Thu-Thuy Emma Linney Nguyen: Very clear explanation, thank you!!!!

B. Bundy: Thank you!! I have been looking forever how to hilight longer hair through a cap! When I try.. Somehow only half of the longer hair gets hilighted.. Like I'm pulling it from another spot

liquidationhaircare com: wrong, I worked with my dad who was a master at cap frostings and. when you pull the hair out with the needle in order not to hurt the client, you need to put talc in the cap before putting it on and. dip the needle at a slant and before pulling the. hair out, the strand has to slide from the. point to the middle of the needle where it is thicker and then pull out slowly and detangle, I'm going to make a video to show how to do this technique and. you will see, I've watched him do thousands of cap frostings

B. Bundy: Oh.. Now that I watched it.. I just see that your doing it the same way we do shorter hair... But I have done that and I end up with only half of strands being hilighted

The Newsoms: Does it matter which hair you pull out? Im doing it nyself and cant see into the holes to tell if its going to look even and im scared haha!
