Hi everyone! In this video I will show you how to create 3 instagram inspired baseball cap hair styles! I have seen baseball caps a lot on instagram and tumblr lately and I thought it would be a good idea to recreate some of the looks I have seen! Hi everybody so today, I'm going to show you how to create three quick and easy cap hairstyles. I thought this would be the perfect time to film it, because caps are totally in on Instagram right now. So first you'll need to brush out your hair to make sure that it's nice and smooth, so next all I'm doing is sectioning off the top piece of my hair just to make it a little bit easier for when I curl it so I'm just taking my Curling wand, you're gon na need to use a thick brown curling wand. This will give you more kind of waves rather than spirally curls. So you just want to pick up random sections and curl them. You can do them in alternating directions, but I suggest around the front of your face. You want to put the curling wand behind the hair. This will just make sure that the curls flow away from your face, and it looks a lot lot better. So all I'm doing is placing the curling one behind the hair and wrapping it around, holding it for a few seconds and then letting go, and I'm just repeating that all the way around my head. So once I think I've got enough curls in I'm just taking my hairspray and spring a little bit of hairspray in it just to make sure it stays in place and then I'm going in with a sea salt spray just add a little bit more texture. To my hair next, you just want to take your brush and just gently brush out the curls. Then you just want to apply your baseball cap and that's the first look so for the second hairstyle again you're going to want to make sure that your hair is nice and smooth by brushing it out. Next, I'm just using my pin tail comb to measure out where I want my middle parting to be so. The good thing about wearing a baseball cap is that, if you're not very good at French braiding or Dutch braiding like me, you can kind of do the cheap way and just do the two plots. So all I'm doing now is splitting the hair into three sections. You want to take your first outside section and place it under the middle section. Then you want to take the other outside section and then place it under the middle section, and that's all you do all the way down the hair. Once you reach the end, you just want to tie it off with an elastic band. So me, with all I'm doing, is going through the braid and kind of separating it out a little bit to make it a little bit bigger. So I'm just pulling out each side of the braid just to make it a little bit more voluminous and then once you've done one side, you just wan na repeat the exact same process on the other side. So all I'm doing is taking the outside sections and placing them underneath the middle section, taking the other outside section and placing it under the middle section. It sounds like quite complicated, but once you work out, it's really really quick and easy, and that's it. You can add some hairspray if you want to, and this last hairstyle is probably the quickest out of the three. So all you need to do is gather it up into a ponytail position and then grab the hair up with your hand and put it inside the hair tie. That'S basically the easiest way to explain it once you've done that you just want to pull the bun out a little bit just to make it a little bit bigger and then I'm taking some hair grips and just gripping it into place. Just so, it kind of looks more like a bun shape, rather than I've just done it in two seconds. Then I'm just pulling two strands of hair around the front of my face and then that's it.
