Hi Ellen David here today, I'm going to cover tips on highlighting hair with a cap with two colors, very often that process I use when a new client comes in who's. Over highlighted, she's usually got streaks to about halfway point and in solid blonde from there down, and I want to get some dark streaks in the bottom and some highlights in the top to get rid of her roots. So how do I do that? First, I apply the cap, then I take my highlights very fine ones through the top and the crown and around the face and then thicker streaks through the middle, then I secondly apply the bleach to the top, only the roots and around the hairline and underneath in The nape area, and then I use the brown or golden brown or whatever her natural color, is add one or two shades darker so that to factor in when it's shampoo shampoos it and it lightens it's the proper color. That'S for starters, how I apply it! Those I'm use the darker color through the middle. I put that on first, because that has to stay on at least 20 minutes and I use a 10 volume developer with that. So it absorbs better and then, when it's all everything's done, I put them in the shampoo bowl and quickly rinse everything off take the cap off shampoo condition and then the end result. She'S got dark streaks through the blonde. Again

Carolin Mercks: looks fantastic!

Cynthia L: Excellent idea thanks

Resting cat face: Awesome video!

Sammy Jade: You put the bleach of first on the roots only but the when you went to put the dark on it looked like different hair did you wash the bleach out and then pull thrpugh new hair ?

Gene: Was that a plain plastic cap without holes?

K: I guess it looks ok,she's young. What people never tell you is colors fade fast, like practically overnight! They get very brassy, a tell all tales sign it's not your hair. It's not blonde its yellow or worse, Orange. Ew. Such a nightmare, I'm never doing my hair at home or anywhere else. I don't trust anyone either to do it "right". So, I guess I'm staying au naturale'. Don't wait until you're forty(to grow out your hair) to find your true hair color. You might actually like your natural hair.

Wendy Broomfield: His I'm desperate for these caps please can you tell me where to purchase one .my hairdresser ran out and has not been able to source anymore help.

Raven Lust: Bruh, I thought that was a bald patch.
