Is this scaly dry scalp, look familiar to you is your newborn struggling with cradle cap? If so, this five minute tutorial will help you do a quick DIY at for me to treat your baby's cradle cap. So, let's get into it. The first thing you will need is coconut oil. You will also need a mild baby, shampoo, like this Johnson's and Johnson's, and a simple newborn brush. It'S important to use the newborn brushes because they have very soft bristles like this one. So, first I'll take my plant-based oil, which is coconut oil, but you can also use almond or olive oil and really lather her scalp. You want to use a generous amount so that it really penetrates the scalp and not just sits on the hair once her scalp is completely saturated in the oil. It should look something similar to this Langston wanted to say, hi, my son. I did the same routine and never had any breakage in too much hair. So after 15 minutes of the oil remaining on her scalp you'll see that it has absorbed somewhat into the scalp, and you can't see the flaky patches as much. This is kind of how you want it to look, so you leave the coconut oil almond or olive oil on the scalp for 15 minutes, and then you will go in with step 2 and take the baby shampoo and pour over just tiny amounts at a time. Lavender it in so, you can take the little small, personal brush and work in kind of a round motion in a circular motion or use the tips of your finger and create a nice lather using the baby shampoo on top of the coconut oil. It'S very important to use a lot of shampoo, not too much. I say drizzle it if you drizzle honey over your yogurt, that's how I kind of drizzle the shampoo over the scalp, and you want to make sure you use enough to get all of the oil out. Do not use your nails. Just use the tips of your finger because you do not want to irritate or agitate the scalp at all. You want to make sure you use enough shampoos to get a nice lather, so that you're not leaving any oil on the scalp, because this could cause further damage or breakage or more oil. Because that's one belief that causes cradle cap is from overactive sebaceous glands or a high oil gland, creating this kind of flaky reaction. So we'll leave the shampoo on for 10 minutes now she's in such a sweetie. So after 15 minutes of the coconut oil on you want to make sure you keep the baby kind of laying down, because the oil can drip down into their eyes. Ten minutes of shampoo we go in, and just nice and warm water and wash out all of the product. You want to make sure you get a nice lather and wash you're gon na continue to work softly on the scalp, and I am being quite gentle but still agitating, but not irritating, because you want to loosen up those flakes and, as you can see after washing Your hair out the flakes have lifted enough, so the place will lift and you will see them in the hair, but they will be off the scalp and I recommend you do this every day for a bad cradle cap and maybe once a week as it gets Better and better, and as you can see, this was later in the evening and her scalp is looking much better. It'S her hair looks clean and moisturized and you don't see it nearly as many flakes if me, but I've been doing this for a while now. So if you have any questions and concerns about how to do this routine, just let me know it's super simple, 15 minute coconut oil, 10 minute baby shampoo wash out and do not flick, flake pickaxe any of the flakes in your baby's hair. So thanks for watching you can watch any other how-to videos or any other videos and we'll see you next time. Ciao, you

CHERYL WILLIAMS: Adorable baby! I had my daughter in 2002 and she had cradle cap as well. My pediatrician advised me to use a 1 part dandruff shampoo and add 3-4 part water solution. But because I knew that dandruff shampoo had a drying effect to hair I added baby oil into the solution. Which worked well for my daughter's hair. Now that she's grown up she has thick hair with body. But she loves to keep it cut short in a pixie cut. And I hate to say it but she actually look beautiful with it.

Adriana Michel: Trying this today on my baby boy who is starting to develop cradle cap. Thank you!

Falasha: Do you think Cradle Cap is stressful? Let me know if this routine was helpful for you or if you have other tips and tricks to get rid of cradle cap naturally.

AvieMare: I’ll take the baby and you can have one of my Chihuahuas. By the way, great job for not allowing cradle “crap” to grow 3 inches thick on your amazing baby’s scalp. Doctors like to tell parents that it’s harmless, and maybe so but it’s also itchy, unsightly and downright gross. No baby should have a lizard scalp! Peace, AM

Holo Holo Adventures: Great video. Most mommy would want to know more about cradle cap especially if they are stuggling with it.

Marilyn Hobson: Using oil makes it worse. If your going to remove it, use little oil, comb and remove then wash with Baby shampoo

Dezzy Duke: Will be trying the next week on my daughter hope it works for me!!

Justice: Adorable blessings to you and your family

Makeda Matthew: thank you for your help. I tried your method and it worked really well.

Cool Mom and Collected: My 1 year old has SO MUCH cradle crap!! Lol we call it cradle crap, not cradle "cap." Your baby is so beautiful, and this video was helpful, thank you!

WOG 2020: How do you get the flakes out once they are in the hair after washing? That's the issue I'm having

caramelhoney29: What a pretty baby!

Comely Bella: I just realized today my 1 month old have it around the front of her hairline, I did your routine 5 hrs ago! I wanna know do you put any olive oil or coconut oil in her hair before putting her to bed and as a moisturizer for her hair if is gets dry? She’s my first baby so I’m still learning

Vintaqe_vibez: I can’t handle all the cuteness! I would continue to watch, but my ovaries are about to explode. ❤️

Zee D: What a pretty baby!

tashaune Batts: I am going to try this Tomorrow.. i just took my 2 mon old out of the tub. Thank you for the video

Bee Natural*Bee You: I'm so stressed out about my son hair. It's falling out, he has cradle cap but also a dry scalp! Do you have any other suggestions!

Barbara Carr: They make a certain kind of comb for cradle cap.

Marilyn Hobson: The more oil you put on the scalp the more the porse get clogged

Black Widowz: Hi. What a beautiful baby, with a gorgeous head of hair. You recommend not combing or scraping. I was hoping you could elaborate on that, simply because most ppl on YouTube (and ppl in their comments section) are recommending that you use a comb. Also, approximately how long did your method take, before you started seeing great results?

Bee Natural*Bee You: Is there a difference between 100% pure coconut oil and coconut plant-based? Because I already have the 100% pure coconut oil.

Jan Prosser: Hi your baby is absolutely gorgeous and her hair is beautiful.xxx

brooklynforever1990: What a cutie Pie ❤️

Laney Spangle: Baby’s beautiful

Marilyn Hobson: Babies hair is already oily. When you put on more oil your plugging the hair follicles even more.

Marilyn Hobson: Adding oils and butters to the scalp makes the cradle cap even worse because you're plugging the pores

Nora Armenta: Your kids are soooo cuteee!

Curly Momma Martika: Wow gorgeous baby

umuringa shalifa: Wooooo,she's so cute.

Marilyn Hobson: You need to call comb it off all you're doing is making the scalp more oily

Marilyn Hobson: All your doing best plug in the hair follicles

anchi ledi: When I put steroid cream it cleared when I stopped it came back

Pamela Johnson: Your baby is beautiful

Shanquna Gandy: So u have to.wash.out the oil? Why most people wash, and leave oils in baby hair?
