This is a quick tutorial on how I put my long hair into a wig cap. I wear a wig cap underneath all of my cosplay wigs to hide my hair and make the wig look more natural. Let me know if you have any questions below!

Hi, my name is Anna Margaret and today I'm going to show you how I put this into a week app I'm gon na start by parting, my hair down the center. This way, I can make two braids one on each side of my head. The goal is to have the braids start as close to the part as possible and with the braids lay flat against my hat and Dutch braids in my hair. This means I'm crossing the center strand to the outside, alternating left and right. Each time I cross a strand from the center, if I add a chunk of hair, it's baptists once all of the hair on that side is added to the braid I'll finish the braid as long continuing to try to keep the braid smooth but not wearing too Much since it's hidden by the wig cap once done, braiding tie off the braid is small. You want to keep it skinny so that it doesn't make a big bowl and start on the other side. I'M gon na do the same thing on the other side, starting at the top is close to Picard as possible and keeping the braid tight flat and close misko. I think it's a good idea to have braids new quick cap because the really good foundation and are easy for bobby pins to stick into which can be especially important for heavy legs such as my marital wig or my Penelope. Once I'm finished with the second rate, I'm gon na also tie it off with a clear elastic and get ready for the next step. I'M gon na use some hairspray to try to slip back by baby hairs at the front of my face and at the back of me, the hairs right above my tears have a tendency to eat out the wig cap. So I'm especially careful to make sure I'm putting those up in my ears and now I'm going to wrap the braids around the back of my head to the front. I then I'm going to secure them taste with a bobby pin. You don't also worry about securing the braids too tightly, though, because Obi cap will be keeping them at work. I try to use as few bobby pins as possible make sure that, as you're putting the bobby pins in they're, not stabbing your head or causing you any discomfort, if they are, this discomfort will be amplified once you put a tightly tab over top of them and Now you're ready for the wig cap, I'm going to start by putting a cap in the back and then bringing it forward over to the front. Try to make sure that the wig cap is smooth and tight. Adjusting the braids and the wig cap. As the music add more hairspray as needed to secure those baby hairs, making sure to tuck in any of those baby hairs that we tried to hairspray back if they get loose from the wig cap, depending on the style and type of flick. Your bearing you may also want to use a glue stick to adhere back those hairs with some makeup over. I like to add a second lid cap to help smooth out the braids, and the grease is from the first wig cap make sure to smooth out the band that goes around your head after this you're done. Thanks for watching. If you found this helpful, be sure to LIKE and subscribe I'll see you next time,

Corey Nelson: This is great! Nice work! Super clear tutorial

Rev. GypSeaShelle Dawn: Thanks for a comprehensive tutorial. There is a whole other wig school of thought which encourages exposure of baby hairs in order for a more natural look when wearing hair pieces. If you explore that style, it will reduce your prep time a bit.

Kate Kelly: this is such a good guide -- super helpful!!! :D

Constance K: Great video!

Chrispy: Nice video! Was wondering if you had any suggestions on skin tone wig caps? Thanks!

Rachel Marrone: im playing fiona in my show, and ive never put my wig on before because of corona but i find this way easier than pincurls :)

Erebus Aether: Nice, as a guy I am keeping my long hair hidden from school. If I can’t beat the school rules then I’ll just hide.
