Hey Guys,

So I know this is big problem that a lot of women, and some guys, have when it comes to preserving a straight hairstyle. This can be especially hard when you are natural. I assure you it can easily be done! I will also show you how to make your very own dome cap from panty hose??!

Hey guys welcome back to my channel daughter of Eloise, and today I'm going to be showing you how to wrap your hair. I know that sometimes it's a little bit difficult, whether you have short or long hair. But this method is super duper, easy and I'm gon na be showing you how to make your own wrap cap, because I know sometimes buying wrap caps and silk scarves and they can get pricey depending on where you go. So for those of my college, kids, who are stuck in the city of Chicago, this would be awesome because I remember I went to the store and I was going to get a rock cap and it was going to cost me twelve dollars to do that. And I think that's absolutely ridiculous, so I remember what my grandmother taught me and I'm we're gon na be making our own wrap caps that work all the time. So, if you're interested to see how one I wrap my hair and how to make your own then continue to what okay, so I'm gon na show you the utensils that you're going to need to wrap your hair okay. So I like to take my paddle brush and like a bristle brush, I don't like using they're, really really hard ones, because I am completely natural, and so I do know you think a brush can be a little harsh on the hair. So what I do get over your in a brush, your hair and I usually wear my part on the right side, but it's okay, we're gon na brush it down! I'M gon na look like I'm from the Adams family. For a second look, so I know I look like cousin it so okay, so I wear my part on the right side of my head, so we're gon na brush to the left cuz. The majority of my hair is going to be on the left. If you part your hair on the left side, then you're gon na brush to the right, because the majority of your hair is gon na, be on the right Kwak. So I'm going to brush this way and try to keep the middle section flat. So we're going to brush brush brush keep brushing keep brushing, keep the top. What it's really not hard, just keep brushing and awesome. So my hair is really soft, so it doesn't stay like this, so I have to hold it so then I use my brush for my edges to make sure that flat. So then I don't use any bobby pins cuz. I don't like the indents that it does stupid, so I'm gon na take my cap with the knot on the outside, so it doesn't bother me when I lay down and I'm still holding the back, I'm going to use my fingers here and I'm gon na place. It on in the direction that my wrap is going so then I'm going to brush my wrap underneath with my fingers and pull it up. Okay, so sorry stockings! Actually these are stockings. So I like to use stockings because when you wrap your hair and you lay down or even when you have like a silk scarf and you lay down because it's so slippery and it's so silky. And if you sleep, while like me, it's going to come off at night, so what I like is that this material is a little rough and that it doesn't just easily come off. If you sleep really rough like I do. I then take my scarf like this and then just to make sure everything lays down. I tie it up and double knot it at the top like that. So now your hair is secure, super easy and you don't have to wear. You don't have to use any bobby pins because, when you bobby pin it in the traditional way of wrapping, you get these indents in the morning, and that makes you want to flat iron them out and we're trying to stay away from as much heat as we Possibly can so this way you're putting all your hair in it's laying flat to have bobby pins, and you don't have to buy a key. You don't have to keep buying dome caps because over time, dome cap start to stretch you don't have to keep buying dome caps that slip off your head that are really silky. It'S hard to find a dome cap that isn't made of satin. So that's gon na come off. It comes off for me in the bed and that's no bueno, I'm gon na take it down just so. You can see. I'M gon na tie this and then take this off. What your hair looks like and take it off and then take your paddle brush and brush it back down and find your part. My part is over here somewhere and then I take a little comb and I remake my part and then I brush my edges down and your hair is how it was when I was I'll. So, if you're interested to see how I made my own, don't cap didn't continue to watch. So the only things that you're gon na need you're going to need scissors and old, stockings, okay and usually stockings - that don't fit anymore, cuz they're too tight. So what I'm gon na do, I'm gon na lay them flat like that, and then I am going to cut the legs off now. I would leave just a tiny bit of room, so you can make your knot depending the size of your head, but just cut the legs off any other type of way. Don'T really worry about it. Okay, so I cut the legs off. So there are the legs, and here is the part. What goes around your waist so you're going to take the top where the two parts of the legs were and you're gon na tie it khatai it once x, tie them twice just in case like that, and then you have your cap and that what I like About this, is you still get the rough material that I was talking about and you get to recycle and not have to buy a new dome cap awesome and - and it just keeps getting better you're - also going to be able to manipulate. I don't know I don't know, I just think it's awesome, so I hope that was helpful. If you have any questions any comments, let's leave them down below for me, if you like this, then thumbs up if you'd like to see more DIY projects for your hair for nails, so anything else that things that I know of then just leave the comment and Let me know and yeah this video can work for both long or short hair. If you have short hair, it's even easier, if it's long hair just keep brushing keep just keep going around it's. It'S really easy. It'S really really simple! So thanks for watching daughter of Eloise and look out for my next video bye, guys
