Highlighting with a cap is very effective when done thoughtfully!

Extra tips we may have excluded:

1) When the cap is pulled down try and find where the hairline starts.

2)You can make extra holes in the cap with a small crochet hook around the hairline before you start.

I created this video with the YouTube Video Editor (http://www.youtube.com/editor)

But so this is Sara we're doing, highlight tips a lot of people, don't use caps these days, how that comes from ulicia, as the I like Tom Miller, important to make sure he's totally dry and got talcum powder inside and anyway, some people's had such a big Fat caps, but Pharisees fun. I halfway around and comb the hair through really well and the combs got to be really dry as well, and if there are any dry ends, you could cut them off first, because that will help pull the highlights through and you can even do quite long hair. Quite easily, if you want, if you're careful, that it has got to be dry and not tangley so coming home. So this is what we did yeah and then what the hardscape very young jungle fishing. We take the hair searching through the hole and often in July before that you only get the highlight thing from anyway, we'll try and take a picture afterwards and show you anyway. It'S gon na go off in a minute. So you look a bit darling. I think that's another reason why people don't do it so just want to turn with the next stage of the writing process. Well, again, Sara so anyway. So we pull the highlights through and you can alter the angle of your hook so that it pulls more out and less out, because if you, if you pull it at a certain angle, you'll find less comes through. If it's parallel to the way their hair grows. But if it's hooked across the way it grows you'll get more out anyway, so we've hold the cap down and we put the light there just on the top and now we're going to after you, after you've put the bleach on the top. You release the cap and then you'll have a few millimeters underneath the cap or where the bleach is on the roots of the of the highlights you see so now we need to put the bleach on the rest, so we go around the edges now, just teasing And making sure that pulling these bits out sideways so that we get the the bleach right down to the roots around the edges. You see, but we do not press it on the top again with the with the bleach brush or our hands or anything, because otherwise that might squash the bleach. That'S on the roots you see on beneath and spread it, so we won't get too neat effect anyway. So I'm just going to just put it around the edges now with the remaining bleach quickly and then we're going to put a plastic bag on to even up yes, yeah yeah. Just we usually imagine that we're an insect would get nervous about falling off the cap. If it was walking on the head sort of thing so when it basically is the size, so if you imagine you're a little creepy crawly or something walking across the head, you start to get nervous about here if you got slippy feet one year. So that's that's! Where we put the final bit of bleach on just on the we do not press again on the top. I'Ve got to emphasize that because spoil it's a little bit, it's like about files really, where effect right. So this is the after result of the the highlighting technique and so you're gon na put another coat on. But can you see how near you just moved ahead of it? You can see how near the pilot to get to the roots. I know it's so fast. Pulling the rubber hat down, but you can see how close you get just a little bit of care to squash it on the top lilies, what we teased fur on it. So there you go then and Sarah's happy and she can have some template colors on that. Well, firmly, friends, until they D add some time onesie something goes hold on. Thank you very much. You

Soozi inCa: MUSIC TO LOUD, I can't hear a word you saying...............But, I LOVE the look of "the cap" a lot more than foil. Foil leaves blotches (no matter how experienced your colorist is) & NEVER gets close to the scalp. Everything that's old, is new again!!
