Hi this is Gwen from hair, bow supplies, etc, and today I'm going to show you how to make a pinwheel, though you will need two pieces of inch and a half ribbon. That'S eight inches long you'll need a piece of 3/8 inch coordinating ribbon. That'S 4 inches long, a lined alligator clip scissors lighter and a hot glue. Ok, let's get started. First, you will take your inch and a half ribbon and we're going to go ahead and seal the edges. Okay. Next, you will take your inch and a half ribbon and we're going to flip it over to the back and then you're going to take your two pieces, your two ends and put them together and then we're going to make a crease at the end. You'Ll open up this crease and then we're going to put hot glue down this line. Take your hot glue and go right down the center. Okay, then you'll take your two ends and fold them to the middle. Just like that, then you will fold it back over and then we will take this and we're going to fold it inwards towards me. Just like that and pinch it closed open it back up and put a little bit of hot glue in the middle and then pinch it closed again. Okay, sometimes when you make this, the edges don't want to stay, so you want to put the hot glue down a little bit more we're essentially making a tuxedo bow. I'M gon na flip this around there. We go okay, so now that you have that done then you're going to take this top part and fold it back towards this edge right here. So you're going to take this top part and fold it back down and pinch it and then put a little bit of glue right in the middle and hold that closed. Alright, then you're going to take this top again and fold it back in towards the center, make a good crease and then put some glue right there in the center and pinch it closed okay. So this is what your front it's going to. Look like and pop out your edges a little bit alright! So that's your first, though we're going to take our next inch and a half ribbon and we're going to do the same with it. So we will take our Tintin hog ribbon. Turn it around to the plain side and we're going to fold it in half and crease open it back up and then, where that line is put some hot glue just down that line. If you've been following me on my other videos, you are going to be a pro at making a tuxedo bow, make sure that's good and secure. Okay, now we're going to flip it and fold this towards you and then make your crease alright, now open it. A little bit and then put glue right down the center line here and then you will pinch it closed. Okay, now you're going to take this other part, this other half and fold it back towards the middle and then once you've got it creased. You put your hot glue right on the edge okay. Now we are going to take this other half and fold that edge towards the middle crease it and then put some glue in the middle and fold it back again and hold that closed. Okay. Now you have your two bows: this is a beginning of a tuxedo bow, so you have them two together that are identical. Now what we are going to do is we are going to glue them together as if we were going to take this and we are going to add, glue and put it right together, so it will be pinched together. Just like that, so you're going to take one bow and put hot glue right down the center. Take your other bow and line it just perfectly and smash it together and hold that together and then you just want to take your little finger in there and fluff out the inside of your bow just like that, and then removing any excess glue along the way. Pinch that roll clip closed okay and now remove any more excess glue. Okay, now we're going to go to the back and we are going to add our alligator so you're going to keep it pinched, put your hot glue down and put your clip down on the bow and press down now we're going to add our Center. Take your 3/8 ribbon, I'm going to seal the edges real fast flip, your bow over to the back and then pinch open your bow and put a little glue and then put your ribbon down right in the middle and then we're going to wrap it around the Bow pinched open your clip, I'm going to wrap it around one more time, then go up to the back fence and open again and add more glue. Okay. Now there you have it, and that is a pinwheel bow. Thank you so much for joining us and have a great day.
