Hair Bow On A Ponytail By Erin Balogh

Hey guys, I have a special guest with me today. This is Avery she's, a good friend of my daughter's I've known her since she was a baby and she's got great hair and the hairstyle that we're gon na do on her is a hair bow out of the ponytail. So I'm gon na gather all of our hair into a ponytail. I'M gon na get a cute little accent bow on top. I'M gon na show you specific things to do and not to do to make sure it turns out perfect. Every time you guys are gon na love, the style once you get it down, is super quick and you're gon na be doing that on all of your ponytails. So with that, let's get started begin by gathering all of the hair into a ponytail. Next wrap the elastic with hair using a Topsy tail tool. Rapping the elastic will look neater but is not necessary. It can make it more difficult to pull the sections of the bow through the elastic because it won't allow the elastic to stretch as much so if it is too difficult to pull the hair through the wrapped elastic. I recommend not wrapping the elastic or using thinner sections of hair for the bow to begin. The boat divide off a section of hair at the top of the ponytail split this section into two and clip one part out of the way, then starting on the right side, insert a Topsy tail through the ponytail at the two o'clock position. The angle is important, inserting it directly through the side, for example, will position the bow too low once the Topsy tail is in position placed the hair through the loop, then pull the Topsy tail through the ponytail, while of doing this make sure to keep a finger Under the section to prevent it from being pulled through all the way, then adjust the shape and size of the loop to your liking by pulling it up bigger or stretching it from top to bottom, as needed repeat on the left side, when you are ready to Pull the Topsy tail through, it is important to keep a finger under the left loop and the right loop. This is important because the ends of the right loop are within the ponytail. If they are pulled on it can change the shape of that right. Loop adjust the shape or size of the loops as needed to finish, the boat divide off a small section of hair at the top of the ponytail to wrap around the center insert the Topsy tail through the middle of the ponytail angled downward and then place the Hair through the loop of the Topsy tail before pulling the Topsy tail through make sure to place a finger in each loop to prevent them from getting misshapen.
