What'S up everyone, it is Tyiece here so today i will be reviewing the elite satin bonnet from humble glow, which is a brand i recently launched. So i did promise you guys a detailed review after announcing the launch of the business, so it is. Finally, here i will be going over some of the benefits of the bonnet, the functions of the bonnet, as well as some of the reasons why you actually need a bonnet in your hair care routine, because a lot of people may not understand. Okay. Why do i need a satin bonnet, so satin bonnet is a night cap that you wear to bed on your head to protect your hair from drying cotton material from typical pillowcases. So it is very, very important, especially if you are on a healthy hair journey and you want to retain length, so satin material doesn't absorb moisture from your hair. It allows the moisture that you put into your hair or the moisture that your hair naturally produces. It allows all that moisture to stay in your hair being that it doesn't pull it out of your hair compared to cotton materials. So that is the reasons why a satin bonnet is definitely beneficial to having healthier hair, especially with our natural hair types having an afro. Our hair type is much more drier and it dries out really really fast compared to other hair types, and we work so hard to put so much moisture in our hair with hair products. So it's important for us to get the benefits of our products instead of going to bed and having everything sucked out of our hair so yeah, i have always worn a satin bonnet to bed. It is a big part of my healthy hair journey and after going natural, i found that the typical bonnets i was using from the beauty supply store was not working for my hair anymore. It was just snagging, my hair, my hair. I would wake up and my hair would be super dry as if i didn't put any product in my hair and my hairstyles would be so so frizzy, so i just decided that i needed a new bonnet. So i'm going to show you the type of bonnets. I was using so this is the exact bonnet i used to use while i was relaxed, so i could have got away with this when i had relaxed hair, but after going natural, this just was not working for me anymore. As you can see, the quality of the satin is very, very poor. It does not even feel or look like satin and look at the edge area. This is basically cotton around the edges. Okay, i don't know what was i thinking and it also have some seams around the edges like right here so yeah. I don't know what was i thinking using this thinking? This is satin, so, as you can see, this is the humble glow elite, satin bonnet right here. This is the bonnet i will be reviewing and there is a big difference in the quality you can see it on camera, like it's a huge, huge difference. So i recently launched the humble glow elite satin bonnets about two months ago, and i announced the hair and the review is finally here. So these are handmade premium, adjustable high quality, satin bonnets and they are jumbo in size. I made sure they were afro-friendly because our hair grows in an afro. It grows out, it doesn't grow down, so we need a bonnet with a lot of room to fill up that space. So it was very, very important for me to choose the size wisely. So the size of the humble glow elite bonnet comes in 41 centimeter diameter, so this is a great size for growing into your bonnet. So, as i mentioned, this bonnet is handmade with high quality satin. The feel of it is super super soft and silky to the touch, and it's also adjustable so, unlike other adjustable bonnets, this bonnet does not adjust with an elastic or a string in there. So i did try another brand last year when i first went natural and i ended up losing my edges because they use a really really skinny string to adjust the bonnet and every night. I would sleep with that: skinny string on my edges and my edges broke off really really bad, so i had to learn a huge lesson so upon designing these bonnets, i was like okay. I know i knew for sure not to put any string or elastic around the hairline to protect it and the part around the edges is also satin. It is the same material as the entire bonnet compared to this one there's a huge difference between the quality of the edges around there and our edges are very, very delicate. So you want to be very careful with the type of bonnets you are using make it make sure that the quality of the satin around the edges also matches the rest of the bonnet, because our edges is just as important. Okay, so with the adjustable part, it adjusts with a built-in edge wrap, so it is called the edge guard in the elite bonnet and, as you can see, this is how the string looks not the string but the wrap. So you use this to tie around the hair, so the elite body comes in a variety of styles, making it very very stylish and super super pretty. I love the patterns. So this plain one right here is called the panther queen and there is also the tropical earth. This is a pretty floral one. This is another pretty floral called the tropical cloud and a really really gorgeous lotus pattern called the royal lotus. So with the patterns. All of the elite bonnets come with black on the inside, so the black helps your bonnet to last longer because we use a lot of products and oils on our hair, so that can really build up and ruin the body. For example, if the inside was the color of this, it will become dingy over time. So in order for it to last as long as possible, we put black on the inside of the bonnet, so there's a lot of great functions to the elite bunny. I absolutely love it, so these bonnets are super super comfortable at night and they do not come off the head before launching. I actually tested it for a full year and i am not even lying. These have not come off my head. One time i tested it with my afro out like this and also with braids and twists, because i know it's a big difference wearing your hair out and wearing it in braids, so the bonnet can easily slip off your head depending on the hairstyle. So it was important for me to test it with different styles, but it stays on the head. It'S really really comfortable. So i'm going to show you how i put it on so right here, it's open, oh, and there is elastic in the back. This just helps the bonnet to stretch and fit around all head sizes and also all hair lengths, because some girls have really really big hair. So you don't really have to worry about getting it over your head if you have a lot of hair, so you just stretch it over the head, like that. That'S how you put it on stretch it over the head, and this is how the bonnet look on the head, like that. This is how it looks on, and this is the adjustable tie that you tie in the back. So you can tie this as tight or as loose as you want dependent on your comfort. So i just tie it like. I would my shoe laces just do one tie and then create a knot and there you have it, so you can make it. If you want your super super tight, you can make it tight, but i do mine's loose and it still does not come off. My head guys, it stays on because of the design of it. As you can see, the band really helps the bonnet to stay on the head, and the cool thing about the edge guard is that you can also use this bonnet to lay your edges. So if you style your edges at night and you want to wake up with sleek edges, you can definitely push it back on your edges like that, and it would lay your edges overnight. So that's how it looks so my hair fills up about. I would say 50 of the bonnet at my current length, but if you are like four or five years natural, then it will definitely fill up this whole bonnet, but it is so comfortable. It'S very stylish. It'S beautiful! The functionality is great. It doesn't slip off the head um, i don't know. What more can i say the elite bonnet is definitely the best bonnet i have ever used. I love it so much. It was just so important for me to have a bonnet that i truly truly love and that something that i use every single night and that i can stand by and look at that and remember. I told you guys - my edges fell out last summer. Well, after using the elite bonnet for about two months, my edges were able to grow back in freely, so this bonnet is very, very gentle on the edges. You don't have to worry about elastic and strings popping off your edges as you wear it to bed. It'S so pretty guys, look at that! It'S really really pretty. I love it so much so because it is double line. It definitely locks in a lot of moisture. So i don't wake up with dry hair when i use this body, so i can moisturize my hair and my hair stays moisturized for days because my bonnet locks in a lot of moisture at night. So this is how you take it off. You just pull the string in the morning loose it and then pull it over your head. It'S that simple. So that was my review on the elite. Satin bonnets.
