Extreme Doll Hair Reroot: Disney Store Rapunzel From Tangled

Today I'll show you how I reroot my Tangled Rapunzel doll in hair that is 40 inches / 1 meter long!!!!

Hey everybody, it's the doll boy and today I'll show you how I reroute my Rapunzel doll to have 40 inch or 1 meter long hair. I bought there from custom doll, hair and I'll have their info linked. In the description for this reroute, I used the 52 inch golden blonde strand hair. In total I have 170 grams, of which I use 140 grams. As you can see, the hair is double the length of the doll when it's already folded in half before rebooting her. I cut Rapunzel's hair to try some different hairstyles. If you want to see more of the short-haired rapunzel, you can check out my Rapunzel lookbook video, then it's time for the actual big chop, so I could all of the hair as short as possible. I dip that in boiling water to make it easier to remove the head from the body. Then I take my tweezers and scrape the inside of the head to remove the leftover hair when the entire head is empty. I start to prep the re-routing hair by sectioning. Small strands of hair on a table to make the hair even longer than it already is. I use this really easy trick. Instead of folding the hair in half, I fold it at a different point to make one end of the Strand longer than the other. This makes the overall hair longer and makes the hair go thinner at the ends. Keeping this trick in mind. I start routing the hair. Like usual, if you want a more detailed look on how to reroute your dolls hair, you can watch my rebooting tutorial whenever I finished parts of the reroute I make sure to twist or braid them out of the way to keep them from getting tangled when the Entire head is routed. I take my fabric glue and glue the hair in place inside of the head. I use a q-tip to make sure all the glue is spread evenly once the glue is dry. I place the hat back on are made to move Barbie body. I undo the braids and brush out all of this hair when the hair is all brushed out. I dip it in boiling water and brush it out again to smooth it out and make it lay nice and flat when the hair is all smooth. I cut the ends that were really thin and I got some layers in the front of the hair and you're done.
