Thanks for watching! Please let me know what you think of the dolls in the comments!

You'Ve got the longest hair ever totally hot, totally cool totally hair barbie you've got something special totally hair. Barbie doll has blonder brunette hair down to her toes and comes with depth. Styling gel dolls, each sold separately, hello doll fans and welcome back to beauty inside a box. Today i have the new barbie, totally hair doll, which i'm super excited about. Well, i'm kind of excited about i'll, explain this doll is kind of a reboot or a remake or a reissue or like it's paying tribute to i'm not really sure what you describe it, the original totally hair barbie who came out in 1992 the same year. I was born now the original totally her barbie has a very important spot in barbie history, because she is the best-selling barbie doll of all time. She was incredibly popular, so in the year we are currently in 2022. Barbie has decided to reissue this doll remake her and it's interesting it's interesting, but i thought we could kind of open this doll and also compare her to the original doll and see how the remake holds up. Obviously i mean spoiler alert, there kind of is no comparison. The original doll is definitely better, but you know this still has some nice features and this will just be a fun little comparison. Let me know in the comments what you think of totally hair barbie. The current totally her barbie or the original totally hair barbie. First of all, i thought it was important to mention that this doll is actually a reproduction, so this is not an original totally hair barbie from 1992.. This was a reproduction from a couple years ago, and there are already some differences between this doll and the original. First of all, the biggest difference, i would say, is her bangs her fringe in the uk. We call it a fringe in america, i know they call it bangs in the original doll. Her bangs are huge, they're, like really over the top and in the reproduction. For some reason, they gave her much more kind of toned down bangs. Also, this doll didn't come with depth, styling gel, which was a kind of key feature of the original doll. I think, probably because the promotional tie-in, that that was all based around probably doesn't exist anymore. Maybe depth styling doesn't exist anymore. I don't know anyway, also the hair quality is slightly different in this doll, just in general, it doesn't feel or look the same, but other than that. This is a pretty faithful reproduction of that original doll. And honestly, this is probably one of my favorite dolls. In my collection it is such a quintessential piece of barbie history and the aesthetic for me just screams, barbie, it's very nostalgic, and now here we have the remake, we'll take a really quick look at the box and then i will open her and we will compare And contrast, so for a really quick look at the packaging. First of all, i do really like the logo. I found it interesting that the original doll was called totally hair barbie and this one seems to be called barbie totally hair interesting. There is a beautiful illustration of the doll down here. I like the colors they're, very reminiscent of kind of vintage barbies. There are some pictures of different hairstyles. You can create with the doll on the back here. There are the other dolls you can get in this line and i have to say in general, i like this line and i probably will get some more of the dolls in it, but we'll see how this doll does. First of all, there's this little image up here, which i think is telling us that her hair changes color in water, which you know a fun feature, a very classic barbie feature, but now that i've spoken about the packaging, i'm gon na take her out of the Box and we can take a closer look at this doll - okay, doll fans - so she is out of the box, and my first impressions are good - are good. Obviously, she doesn't hold a candle to the original totally hair barbie. I probably am a bit biased, because i have a lot of nostalgia for this doll. Okay, so her face is really cute and i love that they've kept her bangs because they are such an important part of the original doll. I like the way her hair is styled and the hair quality it needs a bit of a brush. As you can see, it's a oh gosh. Look at this massive knot in it. Oh dear i mean i feel like if i run a brush through it. This will be fine. She'S just got one random rat's tail in there, but it's fine yeah, i feel like a brush, will fix that, but the hair quality overall other than this little mess over here is pretty good. It'S pretty good. My first major complaint of this doll is, i think, one of the kind of key features of the original totally hair barbie was that her hair went literally to the floor. You know, and this doll is like two inches off like she just needs her hair to come down to here, and then she will be a true spiritual successor to the original totally hair barbie doll, her hair's too short, and i know that's ridiculous - to say because It'S ridiculously long, but it is too short. This is not totally hair. This is somewhat hair or like nearly hair or partly hair. Not totally hair. Her face is really cute. I, like the facial screening they've, even given her purple eyeshadow, which i definitely think is a reference to the original doll. She'S got stars on her earrings and a star necklace and now for her dress. Um, the material is not great, i would say it's a little frumpy. You know i feel like barbie, in an attempt to come across as wholesome as possible. Often wears dresses these days that are completely shapeless. It'S like she's wearing a potato sack which i think is a shame. You know. Obviously you know parents are gon na love. This look but there's just zero edge to it. There'S not a lot of fun. It'S very dowdy. I do love a puffy sleeve. I do love a puffy sleeve, but i just wish it was kind of like more fitted. The pattern is obviously meant to be in reference to the kind of psychedelic pattern of the original doll. This doll was definitely kind of referencing the 60s in its styling, and i think this doll has kind of retained that reference, but i don't think it's as well achieved here. I'M not a big fan of the stars, but it's fine. It'S fine! It'S not the best pattern, but i like the colors. I do really like the colors and talking about her shoes, i quite like the kind of chunky heel and the straps they're fine, and you know what thank god she's in heels at least now my biggest complaint. With this doll and with most modern day, barbies is the articulation is just trash like. Why is there no bend in the knees why i just want her to bend her knees like come on barbie, you can do it. Imagine if i broke her on camera. She just has the basic five points of articulation, and you know this doll cost me 25 pounds. So thanks for that barbie, she also has this kind of ugly star bag yeah, it's just a piece of plastic. You know it's fine. Now the original, on the other hand, has incredible long, soft hair, which i absolutely love. The cutest superstar barbie face this headband, which is actually made of material she's got swinging, earrings love that this cute little 60s mini skirt, dress and her legs bend, which i love, love a bend in the knees and she's got the classic barbie pumps. I mean barbie. Basically always wore the same shoes around this time, which isn't great, but you know they're classic shoes now in terms of this doll's accessories. We have this interesting little waistcoat. I don't know, i'm not a fan. I don't like it. I don't like it. It looks like a body warmer or like a life jacket or something yeah, i'm not a fan of that. She comes with some velcro stars to stick in her hair, which i don't suggest you use, because it always makes the hair super tangly. She comes with these sunglasses that kind of cool - i guess, could be worse. She comes with some little elastic bands. This barbie hair brush, which i think is in reference to the hairbrush which hollywood hair barbie came with, which is quite a cool idea. I do quite like this comb, it's cute and then my least favorite accessory for this doll is definitely these plastic scrunchies. I don't understand why they didn't make these out of material. It just looks really cheap. Now i don't have any of the original dolls accessories with me here, but she came with loads and loads of hair accessories, but most of them were actually made of fabric or material. They weren't. Just plastic plastic accessories always feels like they're cutting corners a little bit. So there we have it dole fans. I spoke about the brand new, totally hair barbie and the original totally air barbie from 1992, and i have to say in my opinion the original definitely reigns supreme, but you know this doll has some nice features. The hair quality is good she's, not a total misfire. Please, let me know which doll is your favorite in the comments. Barbie has made quite a few kind of recreations of their original dolls in recent years. Like i know they made one of the barbie and the rockers line, which was very poorly received. Please let me know in the comments which doll lines you would like to see: barbie try and recreate for myself. I would really like them to try and recreate jewel hair mermaid barbie, which is one of my favorite dolls of all time or hula, hair barbie. I also love that doll or if they could make reproductions of those dolls. I would also really appreciate that. Please also like this video, if you enjoyed it and subscribe to my channel, if you're new here also check out some more of my videos and don't forget to check me out on instagram and tick tock, and i will see you real soon. Doll fans bye, you

Memo: 90’s Barbie is literally top tier. No one can amount to her, at all. I think a full-on reproduction (exact replica) of the original would have been iconic & so much better. Just my opinion.

LIVIN PLASTIC: I just prefer reproductions more than this terrible new versions, and I love to see reproductions of the 90s Mermaids‍♀️

Anonymous Viewer: The new Barbies definitely aren't "fashion dolls" anymore. Most of them feel generic even with the new body shapes and heights. I get that Mattel is trying to be inclusive, but they're doing it in a way that doesn't feel genuine. I'm Asian, and I feel more of an attachment to the older Barbie than the new one that's supposed to look like me. The old one just has so much more character, plus top tier clothes and accessories to match the doll's quality.

Rogerio: Mattel, stop destroying Barbie! Bring back the quality and beauty of 90's

Stephen Holloway: She's definitely cute, but yeah the original is obviously superior. She's a pretty doll and these days we should think ourselves lucky when we get removable clothes. The only thing I would change is the hair length, it's not long enough

Romina Laura Ferraro: It surprised me that you didn't mention how way less dense the hair rooting seems to be in the new Barbie. I don't know if it's because of the crimping, but the new Barbie seems to have significantly less (not only shorter) hair. That was the saddest part to me. Love your content!

Junebug: The dolls of today are nothing to the magical dolls we had!

LMG Designs: It says a lot about Mattel as a company when a 30 year old doll is better quality and more appealing than a new one.

Tia Broughton: Nothing beats the original 90s Barbie’s

MILENA Ortiz: totally agree, the 90s Barbie is much better

frozen78: I wish the Superstar headmold would come back and replace the tired Millie face... Almost every single Millie face looks the same for me, while even the playline Barbies with Superstar mold had nuances to their faces that made them look all unique. I also don't like the colour streaks of hair on the newest "Totally Hair" Barbie. The colourful streaks are everywhere these days (color reveal dolls, dreamtopia dolls, etc.) and it's just there to match the not-so-good-quality pieces of clothing... Thank God we have the opportunity to buy some HQ doll hair and make the dolls look much better Yeah!

Savannah C: I'm wondering if the dress is so baggy because they are designed with the idea that she can share the outfit with the curvy Barbie's. I do get that doing that avoids complaints or risking upsetting a child, but if it were fitted like the original I think it would be much cuter. Love your videos!

Kelsey Peterson: I own the original totally hair barbie from 1992, the brunette version, and love how long her hair is. I've been up and down on how I feel about the newer versions of her but I think I'll try to get all 4 of them and just enjoy them without comparing them to the original. Obviously they don't even come close to comparing to the original, but they are nice dolls overall. As a side note, the Asian version has the longest hair of the 4 of them, the blonde has the shortest.

Century Countess: The original is definitely still the reigning queen. The New one, is pretty but I feel there is something lacking, and I agree I think they could do better with the scrunchies. Great Idea but using plastic to make them, not so much they just end up looking like plastic wrinkled donuts that don't stay in Barbie's hair. ( Already tried it)

Jules M: I had no idea modern Barbies don't have these bendable knees I know from my childhood

Century Countess: If Barbie's earlier friends could be considered a line, I'd love to see what their recreation of P.J, Stacey, and Franchie would look like, especially with updated looks, but hopefully maintain their best traits like P.J's pigtails and Stacey's gorgeous red hair. Maybe even title the series Reunion Barbie with a version of Barbie included in it with maybe a picnic or barbecue play set and a cake prop that says friends reunited. I think that be a cute line maybe even a second chance for some cute characters to come back.

StayAwayfrommeStraggot🤢: Love seeing how mattel makes barbie look more cheaper and cheaper, i just want SILKSTONE dolls to comeback, they were litreally one of the best dolls.

ms.marvelous 815: Man, I really hope the Margot Robbie movie picks some sales up for Mattel so we can get some elevated quality because the comparison is sad

FLIP: I hate this new version, i prefer the old barbies. Thanks for Unboxing this dolls and compare <3

Lori Fox: As an owner of both OG Totally Hair Barbie, there is no comparison. The new is cute and fun, (even without the articulation. come on Mattel...), but maybe under a different title and not Totally Hair.

Alex Smith: “Somewhat hair” I love the original totally hair but the colors are cute on the 2022 version

Keep Your Visions To Yourself: I used to have this doll. She was marketed in the UK as 'Ultra-Hair Barbie'. The original was waaayyy better. Points to Mattel for the diversity of their modern dolls but let's improve the quality, please!!!

Celeste Primrose: I never had any attachments to the old one but even then, I can still tell that it's far better than what the new doll could offer just by a single look from that 2 picture.. Her hair isn't long and it's not as voluminous as the old one plus I don't like that overused face mold that they won't stopped using, it's so repetitive and boring.

Aj Raven: The fact the 2022 version has hair shorter than the reproduction already means she is a flop.

Nymphinia: The 2022 totally hair is really cute! I like she has more variety this time around, and mattels doing better with barbie again in general imo. As you said, this new one doesnt hold a candle to the original but she's still great in her own right :)

BrandonL Rushman: They should’ve made the new 2022 one with longer hair, better hair accessories and a cooler outfit! It lacked in appearance. She wasn’t serving like original!

History Buff: From the packaging, you were showing, I thought she was pregnant. I was thinking, bold Mattel, really bold. Then you showed it was only the dress is doing the look. Yuck. The hair is too short, so I would choose the original.

Styx Thistle: Honestly I just really like the somewhat retro look of the original/ re-release. Also I think the shapelessness of the dress on the new one could be fixed if she just came with a belt.

Dee Ca.: Decent doll if she was a random release. But because she’s a call back to the original hair Queen she’s therefore terrible. You are right, her hair is too short.

GKLB: i dont know why, but the colour palette used for the newer barbie dolls HURT MY EYES

Alice / Ia💕: If the 2022 one was marketed as something entirely different than "totally hair" and not trying to live up to the original, the line would have been a decent one. But as it is using the "totally hair" branding and trying to compete with the original, it just doesn't work and makes it even more disappointing

the_soup: I've heard that the reason so many Barbie dresses are shapeless is so they can fit both the classic body and the curvy body. If they fit the curvy body correctly then they look too big on the classic one!

Jaye Kisses: Literally any of the Barbie dolls with fabric swimsuits would be highly appreciated

L H: I had the brunette original (wanted the blonde, but my cousin wanted blonde, too, so grandma got different ones for us, but that's neither here nor there). The original is definitely way better than this. I'm not impressed with the hair at all. It's not short enough, the color streaks aren't really exciting, and the fact that the hair came tangled is really discouraging. They really should have made her colors a little brighter and given her better accessories.

diamondk1: My thoughts: the face on the new one is cute and the dress would be a favorite if it was more form fitting and not so baggy. That said, the original is by far the superior doll. I'd like a remake of Sweet Roses PJ

Ismael Rodriguez: I think any older Barbie will always be top tier when it comes to the attention to detail on the accessories and the articulation. I am not sure why Mattel is not taking note about these. The cost of the dolls has gone up, so why not up the quality?

Kitty Mae: I actually love the new one, if I see her on clearance I might well get her. As for other ones I would like to see remade, I would looove for them to do Skating Star/Olympic Skater, even though they wouldn't because now they just make their figure skater dolls part of the career line and with moulded on tops :(

Vintagegaudi: I def. Love the vintage ones her hair has more volume are more fluffy and are not so flat like the new one ans yes for a totally hair or ultra hair doll she must have longer hair but I like her face that is cute ☺️

Jordan O'Dwyer: Oh the original is the best hands down, I was always disappointed having dolls with non bendy legs

Johannakki: "Nearly hair? How can you be nearly hair?" "Like this" (Shows her hair that's two inches too short ) Audience retches.

ρε φάε demonotize: My favourite totally hair is the 1992 one ☺️

Shannon Flaherty: i had the original and i LOVED her! I wish my daughter played with barbies cause id love to get a new version of her. side note its cute how they tried to make the outfits match. Also it would be great to have the mermaid barbies as well as original toddler kelly and all her friends. and I loved ballerina Barbie she had so many joints and cold do way more would love to have her back.

Wesley Whitley: I would love a reproduction or reference in maybe a Barbie rewind centered around the 2000's of the Jam N Glam pop star Barbies, they don't have to have the ever flex waist or twistable hair change features but just that look at least done in a high quality way with good articulation and included stands without raising the price beyond the $50 mark would be a dream. Or the even more unlikely remake of the my scene dolls would be cool but the way the non reproduction side of the monster high relaunch is going I'm not gonna hold my breath for either tbh.

Laura Gordon: I think when Matel took their manufacturing to China 2007 you started to see a significant drop in features and quality. In the 90’s she was primarily manufactured in Indonesia. You are about my daughters age and I think the last generation to get quality toys beyond a few hold out like Legos. Thanks for the video! My mom was an avid Barbie collector and it took me back.

theabsolutenobodyguy: I just think of them as two totally different dolls, not a mere replica hence why I'm not that disappointed. Also, they have a Totally Hair Barbie too back in 2006 where it's just streaks that is being put into the hair. Overall, the 2022 doll is cute on her own if not compared to the OG since that is far, FAR superior.

Helena Khudyna: Love your versions of this line, my favorite - nearly hair!

robyn ellis: The OG totally hair barbies from the 90's are amazing! Barbie, Teresa, skipper, Courtney and Ken. Love them all! The reproduction of totally hair is ok, they did her dirty by taking away her puffy bangs though. Not interested in the barbie of the new line, I think I will get the "kira" though!

Ash Catalina: I remember having a Barbie doll with super long pink hair and one with super long purple hair, & they were some of my favorites! Their hair length was closer to the original Totally Hair Barbie rather than the 2022 one. Just shows how quality has changed drastically.

Navi LeBlond: The new doll is nice but no way it holds a candle to the OG I have the whole collection of the 90's and I absolutely love the line. And even the Barbie Extra dolls have longer hair. And the reproduction of the 25th anniversary is a good doll but the face paint and hair is not as good either. Great video.

Diana: Barbies fashion over the last 8-10 years is so tasteless, shapeless and ugly it’s beyond me

Vittorio Pio Rosario Savasta: Totally Hair is one of my favorite Barbie dolls ever, and this new version is just cheap, ugly, and boring, the original will always be the best

Flora XD: She's- ...a cool idea to modernize a very succesful doll from th 90's... but I personally HATE the result... it's so cheap, and so clowny, she has still the Dreamtopia Nightmare vibes, she just looks clowny with poor quality and outrageous "fashion" tastes... it's to me a blasphem to the original doll... I wish Barbie got better quality again and some sparkles, good fabrics, good accessories, GOOD ARTICULATIONS, instead of some cheap and boring colorful dolls like that... I don't want them to realize some old Barbie mermaids dolls because I already know they are going to be full of plastic like EVERY new mermaids dolls which are so boring and clowny... (even the dolls from the new mermaid movie just look like under-the-sea clowns to me, I'm sorry, there is NO fabric that's boring)

Dreamy Pyon: The different bangs in the repro totally hair might be because the original used kanekalon hair and doll grade kanekalon has been discontinued. Kanekalon doll hair is super super fluffy As for the new doll I wish her dress was more form fitting but I don’t mind it otherwise, totally hair Barbie didn’t have the most phenomenally detailed dress either, and honestly this is one of the better modernized takes on old dolls. I like the colors in her hair, longer hair would make her stand out but I’m honestly not the hugest fan of floor length doll hair since it tangles so easily, if she was her own concept and not a remake the shorter hair would honestly be perfect for me lol….

KittiesGalore1980: OMG! The dumb little jingle from 1992 took me right back to being 12 years old and I remember going to Target ( the same one that I now buy my OMG and Rainbow High dolls from on occasion) and buying the brunette one! I'm not sure if I still have her or not but I can still smell the Dep styling gel to this day, and I can remember styling her bangs with it. The late 80's and early 90's were SO all about hair, and hair spray and gel, and OMG, you just sparked up some MAJOR nostalgia! And you hadn't even been born yet! Yes, the original was SO much better. Better quality, details, HAIR, the original just screams early 90's

Dido Ryan: I love the original totally hair from 1992.

96: There are 2 versions of the original Totally Hair Barbie depending on the place they were made. The one with the big bangs that was mostly advertised but there's also a version with smaller bangs similar to the reproduction. I have the one with the smaller bangs. Just so you know.

Patrice Rogers: Wow, I thought I knew them all, but I'd never before heard of Jewel haired or Hula haired Barbie. Had to look them up. Their fabulous!

Felipe Alves: you know what, let's be honest, it dosen't need to do, like, a deep search to compare the quality of the new Barbie's dolls lines. It seems to me that in the early decades of her production, like, 20/40 years ago, Mattel genuinaly valued the originality of their products. (especialy, when it comes to Barbie.) But it' seems that now is just for the money, not about quality, the only thing they're dedicated their quality to, is the Collector frangise, and some recents lines focused on the adult/collector custumers. But when we talk about youger custumers it's seems like they stoped from care. Like, "They're kids! we don't need to effort that much, they buy anything!" even the Barbie's movies kinda lost their quality from a few years for now, at a point that they stop to produce it. Mattel could have make Barbie grow old very good for the new generation, but i think that when the kids from today grow up, they'll just compare. And find that the Barbie line frome their childhood, wasn't that great. Nostalgic? sure! But not that great. And ironicaly, while Mattel stop caring, MGA are make big steps with the Rainbow High Dolls, that i admit, when they anunced it i didn't tought it would be good, and DAMN i cound't be more happy to be wrong.

Anzanz Anzanz: I got the original Totally Hair Barbie for Christmas in 1992 and I loved her so much. I bought the reproduction doll a few years ago from eBay, in box, and she lives on a shelf. Such nostalgia when I look at her. I don't understand why the new one has such short hair!

Anucirq: I had the original totally hair Barbie....it was so amazing. Seeing the barbie, I can still smell that hairgel that it was in the package. So sticky :D

Pat Nelson: I just can't bring myself to buy dolls with only the 5 basic points of articulation! love your videos, Joey!

Erika Fiore: Oh my...when will Mattel understand that the best way to sell dolls that were a hit is to repro them exactly as they were?

TLMTAC1989: I’d love to see Bubbling Mermaid Barbie or Movin’ Groovin’ Barbie redone! ❤️❤️❤️

Jamie jam: Loved this such a great review! I totally agree original barbie 90s all the way..

Damla Akarsu: I love vintage dolls! 92s is my favorite! And you're so cute, I love your channel! Best wishes to you!

dolls4daze: I would literally die for a reproduction of jewel hair mermaid - or any of the vintage mermaid Barbie’s at that!!! Love your videos!! :)

Ms. Xris D: I own two of the 1992 totally hair Barbies well loved blonde and red head. I’m so thankful I grew up with my 80s/90s Barbies. This new Barbie totally hair is boring AF and that dress is sad. I like colorful hair in the front tho. Thanks for another great video!

Pam Brandon: One of the things that I liked about the original totally hair Barbie was that she came as a brunette too.

Roxana29888: I would love to see cut'n style barbie again

weislang: Honestly, I think the shapeless dresses are featured because they're cheaper to make, not because they're more wholesome, sadly. . .

Fernando Turrent: I was also born in '92 and I'm also looking for an original Totally Hair original. But it's complicated and hard. The 90's one has a very good design and quality than the 2022, also loosing the length of the hair is a great mistake compared to the original one

Deborah😈: As I'm born 1990 I should prefer the older but I love my daughters new version more! Colours and hair seem better but that's just my preference! Love reliving my doll life via my 5 year old mini me a little too much

AnimatedGeek100: I think I like the overall visual design of the newer one more, but for playing with I’d definitely prefer the old one. What on earth is the point of scrunches if you can’t use them on the long hair. And how is the doll supposed to sit at a little table to gossip with the gals IF HER KNEES DONT BEND?!

Ruby Bailey: I love the Barbie with the longest hair

MomLuvs2Collect: Great review! You're right the original is the best I'm not a fan of this new doll though like you I do like the colors but I think I'll pass

Cordelia Wagner: I loved the original. The ling hair, and especially the dress for it's bright colours. And the face was better. I don't like the remake. The knot in her hair is questionable, and the dres looks cheap.

Sora Song: This seems like a nice one I could possibly get someday if I ever buy a Barbie doll.

×Iris Flower×: Barbie totally hair 1992. When I saw that doll it became my dream doll. Unfortunately I can't afford it now but I'll definitely buy her and all this collection

Dreaming Dolls Reviews: I think it would be cool if they tried remaking the barbie line superstar barbie I think that would be interesting

Elphaboy: A reboot of Jewel hair mermaid barbie would be AMAZING!!!!! or like you said a reproduction ill take that id also like to see the Generation Girl line rebooted!

Phoenix Rising22: I'm going to just say it: this remake is ATROCIOUS. Barbie quality totally peaked (pun intended) in the 80's and 90's and has gone totally downhill ever since. I rarely buy contemporary Barbies anymore.

DDS: Let's accept the fact that 70's 80's and 90's Barbie glorious days are gone gone forever !!! Even if they remake those dolls from the era's that I mention still can't relieved it anymore the magic of the dolls !!!

Stefanie B: I'm a 90s girl so I obviously love those but these new barbies are so cute too!!! The barbie extra line is so kawaii ✨️

Corlia Meyer: The original is my favourite for sure!

Adam Ridgway: I still need to really collect the totally hair barbie! That hair is amazing. Also yes hula barbie would be amazing!

Alnora Rose Pottrell: I've lost faith in Barbie lately. Too many plastic tat, clothes don't feel like proper fabric ( and what's with all the fur? ) and the pets! Urg lol Nevermind lack of articulation. Give me the Barbies of the 80's and 90's with bend and snap knees and fabric acessories and proper clothes! Even some had pin joints in elbows and knees.

AnnaBananna: Omg!!! This was my first Barbie I end up cutting her hair

AquamarineKay KB: Can’t beat the original 1992 version.

blablablam100: i'd like to see a reboot of i think it was called velvet dream barbie. she had this amazing vevlet body suit with a long tulle skirt. and also i remember these witch barbies that had long coats and came with cauldrons and i think some kind of sugar powder to mix drinkable "potions" with

Juno Lauwers: I hae the patterns they use on modern barbie doll dresses, I like the type of dress she's wearing, but it would just look so much more barbie if it were just plain pink. They could have done such a cute thing with giving all the dolls just one simple color. If they all were just one color and you could mix and match if you collected them all! Instead of giving them the extra strands in their hair they could have given them a simple hairband like the originals

Мрії Елли: If you look at it this way, then the 1992 dolls look more interesting and simpler than the 2022 version, which is crammed with garbage

Water Lily: Even though I'm as old as this doll I still want one!

WS Studios: I found a brunette totally hair in January for 2 bucks with two other old Barbies (jem, and tropical sun(?) Barbie) and she my fav barbie. The new totally hair barbie is just sad, it’s not even close to as long as the better og totally hair barbie

Florals4Spring: I'd love it if they did a line of Generations Girls. I'm not sure if that counts as a Barbie line or not since, like My Scene, Barbie is in it...but still!

katy m: Original all the way. Had blonde, burnette, skipper and courtney. Was happy to find the african one for $4 at a thrift store. That being said.. I may consider the new african doll.

Noemi Cittadini: I just prefer reproductions more than this terrible new versions, and I love to see reproductions of the 90s Mermaids‍♀️-

littlejøker: i dont like a lot of the new dolls but i think shes really pretty i wish she was on an articulated doll body and the clothes were better quality for the price but overall she looks like a cool doll

Michael Mcgee: Imagine when barbie was being marketed it was originally turned down because it was viewed as an adult novelty item. Barbie has long changed since the beginning. I was disappointed not only that Mattel did not make her legs bend, but, also that they did not put the twist and turn back on.

Christie Lamb: The reproduction of the original Dollis much nicer and better quality. I agree 100% with you regarding the knees! I mean what the heck?! Are they trying to go back to the 1950's dolls with the leg articulation?! Love your videos! ☮️

Tiana Nesbitt: Aren’t you excited? I am seeing new dolls and clearance for upcoming dolls!
