We'Re going to try a hack to see if we could untangle this doll's hair. As you can see, it looks absolutely terrible and we can't brush it. Apparently, the only thing you need is fabric softener and I have the sample. So I'm going to go ahead and dump it in a bowl. I'Ve literally never used fabric conditioner before or softener. I put two different ones in here and it looks really old, but anyways we're just gon na see if it works. I'M gon na get her hair completely soaked and let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Technically, it has to be soaking and there isn't enough for it. But the ends are very saturated and I started to comb out the top here and it was coming out very easily we needed way more, so I went to the dollar store and just got some of this smells way better and it's thicker. I definitely have hope for this did a pretty good job, you're able to comb and brush through it. Now some of the mats move towards the end, so I did like trim a little bit off and then there was some hair loss just from brushing it. But I think if your doll was just slightly matted, it would be a lot better.

Lindsey Pratt: I like to use fabric softener with hot water. Because the hair is basically plastic is helps smooth out the kinks from it being knotted. I also wash the hair with shampoo after to get the greasiness from the fabric softener out.

Michael Trinta: mix water, cold or hot, with the fabric softener to help it coat and soak all of the hair, it saves you money and works better

Breeze H: Thank you for this! We have one of those shoulder and head, do my hair Elsa dolls and she is a mess! ❤❤

Iemand or someone is adventuring: I most definitely didn't make my dolls when i was younger matted like this...

AGs dolls: Can you do it with the sheets of fabric softener somehow?
