Hey everybody, its Disney boy 21 here and welcome back to another tutorial, and today I'm gon na be showing you guys how to fix frizzy doll, hair and make them go from this to this hello, hello, so hey everybody, and today I'm gon na be showing you Guys how to fix frizzy doll hair and make it straight or just to get rid of the gel in the doll's hair. So this process is commonly called boil washing or you basically just wash your doll's hair in hot water and do some a little bit of conditioning to make it soft and silky um. So I do this to all my dolls before I restyle them, and even if I'm not gon na resell them, I still watch them together, the gel and the frizzy box hair. So it's a really useful technique to fix dolls hair - and I have done a few videos on this on my channel and of course come with times and miry styles. But I haven't done a video specifically on this topic, so I thought it would be fun to do it since I'm gon na be washing qubits here anyway, because I'm about to restyle her. So let's get started alright. So the things you're gon na need are a comb or brush a big bowl and a slightly smaller bowl for the hot water and the conditioning part and, of course, you're going to need the hair conditioner itself. So it can be any type of normal hair conditioner. It'S fine and you may want to leave a towel under your equipment so that you can easily clean it up if anything, spills in you're going to need it to dry the doll's hair as well, and next up well, some water on the stove and if you're Young, please please ask for adult supervision for you to help this, because you're gon na have to handle hot water. So please be careful guys alright! So, while we're waiting for the water to boil we're going to come back to cupid and cupid is coincidentally a really fitting subject for this video, because her hair is more frizzier than the other ever after high basic dolls that I have seen so far. So just take your brush and what you need to do is just give the hair a nice brush through to get rid of all the as much as you can, so that it's going to be easier. When we do the washing part so we're gon na brush. It out as much as we can right here there and you're going to have to sacrifice a few strands of hair. So don't worry about that, but be patient and don't let her brush it off or her whole head is going to come off and now you can stop the stove, just as the water starts to bubble now, take off her accessories and give her a spot rest And she's ready to go, and now slowly and very carefully, pour the hot water into your bowl. My pot is really big. You might want to use a smaller pot like a saucepan, the small saucepan that I usually use, I'm making noodles, where that pots are to go with this big one. Now take your doll and just slowly, starting from the base dip the hair in the hot water and leave it for about 10 seconds or around that then take it out brush it a bit. You can see the suit the tangles are still there, even though we brushed it up, so we're going to have to do that um a few times and after that, just dip it again for another 10 seconds or so we're going to get to her bangs in A bit later brush it downward, so that's going to make it straighter, so you can do the dip and the brush until you're pleased with the results. I would break them in around three to five times for Cupid, depending on the frizziness of the doll. If it's not very frizzy, you can stop around three times or if it's like super super frizzy, you might need to go for like six or seven times of dip brush to brush process and now moving on to our bangs. The bangs are a bit tricky because you don't want them to flight flip up because if they flip up during the process, it's kind of hard to like put them backwards once you're dry. So you make your dog into a position. That'S just like sitting like that and hold it from the feet just dip. It like this in the water, see and try to pick up like this, so that the bang does not get flipped they kind of, like you know, get back onto her forehead so dip it like this. Try to take a look like this, so do it a few times until the gel is gone from the bank and after you got rid of most of the tangles I like to changes to this type of comb. This is my favorite. It has a pointy end to your nose section of hair and everything, but anyways like if you comb it, because the teeth are small, it can fish out all the loose strands of hair in her hair. See alright. So after that, we're going to move on to the conditioning part, so just scoop like a handful of amount just enough for your doll's hair about this and just apply it onto your hair and massage it all over it. So it gets to every part of her hair and after we have thoroughly applied the conditioner into her hair. We'Re going to leave her like that for about five to six minutes for the conditioner to soak in her hair and soften it. Now we're going to rinse off the conditioner from her hair. So first you can just dip her hair in the water that we use earlier right. Now it's kind of cooled off, so you can put your hand in it and just wash out the conditioner as much as you can and after the water got really milky and all that you can do the rest of the rinsing under under your sink or a Tap and after that, just Pat her hair dry to soak off all the water, then comb it into shape. So now just let her hair air dry for overnight and then once it's dried, you're good to go and if you're gon na curl her hair, you can just go ahead and put in the curlers without waiting for it to dry. But for me I'm going to wait till her hair's dry, so I can show you guys a final look up this tutorial. So we're back and cupid's. They have been completely dried off and, as you can see, her hair no longer have any frizziness or tangles and you can just brush through it to your heart's content and it's much more straighter than the poufiness that is happening earlier and it's so soft. So i do note that if your dog originally had wavy or curly textured here, a little bit of weirdness may still remain at the ends. That'S normal because that's how her hair texture is, but if you want to get rid of that, you can go for likey. Second round of oil washing a day later and try to get rid of that, but I don't mind because I'm gon na be recalling her hair anyway. So you know I don't need to go all that straight, but here is her back and just join you guys. A 360 look over new hair and for those who are waiting for my cubed Harry style video, I will be doing that in a separate video soon to recrawl her hair and don't worry for those who are waiting for a kidney restyle. I am working on her as well, so I have washed her hair and I've started to part her hair too. You know style the way that I want so yeah. This is surprising. I am like the most laziest person ever and I am trying to restyle two dolls at once. So best of luck to me, but don't worry, I will I'm trying my best to put them up as fast as I can, but I think Kitty will be going up first and Cupid will follow shortly, so yeah stay tuned for that so anyway. So I guess that's wraps up my tutorial on how to fix frizzy dog hair and make it straight and also how to boy wash your doll's hair. So I hope you guys enjoy the video and find it useful. And if you like, the video please thumbs up and subscribe, you can also follow me on Instagram at Disney boy 21 for more photos, but right now. Thank you so much for watching, and I will see you all soon in my next video so bye. You

Desiree2 Desire: All this time I have been cutting my daughters dolls hair in an attempt to "stop the frizz" from spreading! You have stopped them from having pixie cuts lol. Thanks a bunch!!

Officially Dai Time: Thanks so much this is such a great tutorial

Dawn Funck: I was surprised to find a young man hosting this video and I have to commend you for sharing your love for dolls. These are difficult times for cross gendered interests and I want to give you two thumbs up for what you do. I also took your advice for boil-straightening my doll's hair. Worked beautifully! I'm subscribed and appreciate your straight-forward presentation. Too many other doll videos have the speaker waving their hands all over to fill the visuals and the voices are so cutesy that I end up turning them off. Goodonya, and many thanks.

Caetlin Emery MSP: Tip; I saw the knots in her hair you're brushing it too violently, her hair is going to fall out. Start from the bottom of the hair and work your way up. That way the hair won't come out.

Shizuka Fung: This is such a thorough and detailed tutorial! Fun and funny to watch! Thanks for the details! Time to fix my daughter's dolls. lol.

ZombieXCorn: OMG! It worked :D I have never touched such soft hair on a doll before like my clawdia #itssosoft :o XD

BlazeMyth Productions: I tried this on multiple dolls of mine. And I must say it works very well!My dolls had very frizzy hair and this video made my dolls hair super soft and smooth.

hazelpixie56: Thank you so much for making this video! I bought a Barbie at the thrift store recently so I could play with my daughter, and even after the fabric softener/white vinegar detangling, it was still majorly frizzy. This worked great! will definitely be using this method from now on

Blue Sky: I can't wait to try this on my Anna doll! her hair comes braided when you buy her and it must have been braided for a verrrry long time because it's CURLY and sooo thick when you pop those elastic bands out! thanks for showing how to boil wash!

bunzzy lilly: Omg thank you!! I've been throwing out my daughter's dolls when they frizzed out. I just took a shot to see if there was a do it yourself video. Thank you thank you!!

Officially Dai Time: Thanks for comenting back keep doing doll tutorials and never stop

Rip off Bench Trio: thank you so much for this! i bought a monster high doll that i loved but her hair was so frizzy!! this helped so much!!

no: This helped me so well! Now my doll's hair is straight and makes non frizzy! Thank you so much @Jlantistoys!

Melanie De Zordo: i love your videos. Thanks so much for doing them. i have restored my daughter's MH dolls hair now thanks to you. I still have Toralei (original version) to tackle though. Her stripes are faded and hair feels greasy and I'm not sure what methods to use. We also have the Ghouls alive light up one too....her hair is completely stiff and stuck to her head. Any advice from you would be greatly appreciatec. Thanks so much.

sofie: This helped a lot! Thank you so much ❤️ everytime my doll's hair is frizzy I use this Thanks so much for making this video

BunniBear4: Oooh! I'm curious about how your Cupid's going to look. I used your Maddie tutorial for my first restyling ever and did a bunch of dolls around the same time with a friend and got really experimental with Cupid and how we went about getting it on the straws. She is honestly my favorite in terms of how she came out (along with SDCC Scarah because it retained the style super well and got rid of the really gross amount of gel). :3 Also for whenever it happens, I recommend checking out the book cover of "A Semi-Charming Kind of Life" for when you look for inspiration for doing Darling Charming's hair. She has a really nice Marie Antoinette look with it and for someone with such great hair restyling talent I'd hate for that picture to go unnoticed (I'll personally be trying to go for it myself, at least the bump if I can).

Dianne Bowden: Thanks so much for this tutorial. I got CA Cupid yesterday and she has huge cotton candy hair after I brushed it out. I'm glad it can be fixed. Can't wait to try it!

Mommyoftoomany Wilson: Love the psycho brush sound effects! Kept going back for a laugh! love it. Thanks for the vid, I hope it works on my daughters dolls and Princess Sofia dolls. They are a hot mess!

Elizabeth Allen: Thanks so much!! I'm going to try this for my vintage Barbie and Francie dolls. Beautiful!!

The_ Pikachu: It really worked on my ever after high doll thanks!!

Sumeya Baker: +LaQuandra Williams Omg I love the after look! Yep I agree with you LaQuandra! totally much better with cupids hair being straight

Sarah Just Sarah: Awesome job on the tutorial and on Cupid's hair! Wow. I'm going to have to try your method on some of my really frizzy dolls. <3

Xiomy Sam: For everyone who asks will it work with ordinary hot water The answer is yes. I've taken my Barbie doll (it was the girl from Tangled edition) took her clothes of and put her in the shower and got the same results. I can't believe how awesome this is.

Lauren Sykes: I don't know how many times I've watched this video. I have used this tutorial so many times. thank you so so much for making this

Jean van wyk: Thank you for this informative video. I have been trying to find a video that makes sense and is simple, because I want to start un-frizzing and restyling dolls. Will try this method soon.

Aggressive Barbie: Thank you so much for showing us this tutorial DisneyBoy! I really need to fix Lizzie's hair. The frizz of her hair is driving me nuts! Lol! You did an awesome job on fixing Cupid's hair. I really love how her bangs stayed the same but much better. Can't wait for her hair tutorial! Especially Kitty's hair tutorial. She looks so fierce so far. I also love her orange jacket! She looks so sexy. Thank you again for this tutorial! Definitely trying it out ASAP. ^-^ Ps: Cupid is a smart choice for this tutorial because it was Valentine's Day yesterday. :D

orknixvi: I tried this on my pony and the results It worked sooooooooo well thanks for making this video I tried to get it out with EVERYTHING shampoo, conditioner, cleaning supplies and more! I know it got way to crazy! Thanks again!

Desu: Woa that video is so helpful ! I just bought a pre-owned doll and this video really helped me <3 thanks dear

A Tin Cup: Your videos are the best! This really helped my Cupid doll! Thanks! X3

The Mercury 13: Fab! I'd always hold hair to stop it pulling on the head - difficult with boiling I know! Maybe lay it flat / hold with a towel - but pulling directly on doll hair will stress the roots.

•ItsMiraculousNorman•: Thank you so much! I have a Rainbow High Winter Break Skyler Doll. And her hair is really frizzy and messy haha. but i m gonna try this out and I hope her hair turns out great and smooth.
