Faux Bob (For Long Hair)

I'M gon na whack a hundred-mile, I'm gon na whistle, although I'll. If that's what it takes to make me smile hi today, we are doing the faux bob, so we're gon na lose some of this length, and if you follow me on instagram or what you should address me pretty, you know that I've been contemplating cutting my hair. Obviously I haven't done it yet. Hopefully this will like pacify my need, we're gon na start off by pulling our hair half up and choosing these roots. So this is really important because when we roll our ends up - and we want those ends and the bobby pins to really stick and grip to this hair, so get your teasing brush out and just go to town on teasing it and I'm gon na do it In a couple different layers to make sure I have it really good, and then I love love the camera 25 hairspray I feel like it just is fabulous. So after I'm done teasing, which you can get this teasing comb on any beauty supply store. I got Sally's just gon na go ahead and spray those roots so that the tease really holds nicely and don't worry, you won't see any of the snarls, hmm crazy things and we're just seriously gon na keep teasing. Because here's the thing you want to make sure when you pull your ends up, that you have a lot of volume on top so that it looks like your hair actually is short. And when you have shorter hair, you usually have more volume, because you don't have all the length of your hair the weight of your hair, holding it down so we're just gon na, like tease for like ten minutes, probably so get your teasing brushes ready and hopefully Your wrists are strong, okay, I think we're finally ready to do some hair styling right now. I'M spraying some sea salt spray into my hair. I really really liked the red kin wool. You can pick it up on Amazon, I'll leave a link below I couldn't find it. So I mean seeing some old stuff, I mean know what it is, but Fred can walk so put your little bobby pins into your mouth, because that's just what you do sometimes and you're going to roll the hair up under your neck. So once you go the hair up under your neck, you're, going to take those bobby pins in one at a time and just secure in the hair near where we just teased. So these bobby pins are not going to go anywhere because we seriously we did a good job TV and setting up this hairstyle. So you are gon na just roll the hair under and then start painting away and there there really is like no specific order. I'M just painting wherever I can, and I am lucky because a couple weeks so though I wanted to go short, but I didn't, and but I cut a couple like layers near my face. So I have all these short layers that are just poking out. A lot of my length comes from the back, so I got lucky because this hairstyle looks really good with these shorter layers that I have so you're gon na want to manipulate um the volume and those little layers. If you have any whiskies, pull them out. As you can see, I'm kind of tugging and grabbing at them seeing what naturally falls out so make sure you can't see any of the snarls, and this seriously is such a fast hairstyle. You can use leftover curls, but you're really pulling up so much length that you really don't. It is nice to have texture, so I would curl a little bit, but you don't need perfect curls, obviously for this hairstyle, so just keep pinning up what you think needs to be pinned up as far as it feeling secure and just keep grabbing on those those Shorter layers, it really works best if you have short lighters, so there you have it.
